• Wordpress - Plugin - Administration - ?

  Hi, I'm building a Wordpress plugin and I added a menu page which serves for management of "Vendor" entities that are kinda similar to the existing User entities. I have a list page similar to Users List, with Edit button for every record and when I click on the "Edit" button I should be taken to the "Edit Vendor" (which does not have its submenu item in the admin menu) page for that vendor. Everything is stored in the "plugins/wp_vendors" folder. Question: What URL should I use for opening that Edit page? How should a slug be registered for the Edit Vendor page? PS. Vendor List is added to the admin menu with add_menu_page('Vendors', 'Vendors', 8, 'C:\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\wp-vendors\vendors-list.php'); And I can open the List page with http://localhost/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wp-vendors/vendors-list.php Can anyone help me on this?

• Multiple instances of this carousel on a single page - can't get it to work

  This code comes from a tutorial so it's not originally my own work. What I am trying to do is implement this several times on a single page. I have tried and so far failed - by numbering the id "carousel" and so forth. Any help would be seriously appreciated.   I have a python script which makes a GUI. When a button 'Run' is pressed in this GUI it runs a function from an imported package (which I made) like this from predictmiP import predictor class MiPFrame(wx.Frame): [...] def runmiP(self, event): predictor.runPrediction(self.uploadProtInterestField.GetValue(), self.uploadAllProteinsField.GetValue(), self.uploadPfamTextField.GetValue(), \ self.edit_eval_all.Value, self.edit_eval_small.Value, self.saveOutputField) When I run the GUI directly from python it all works well and the program writes an output file. However, when I make it into an app, the GUI starts but when I press the button nothing happens. predictmiP does get included in build/bdist.macosx-10.3-fat/python2.7-standalone/app/collect/, like all the other imports I'm using (although it is empty, but that's the same as all the other imports I have). How can I get multiple python files, or an imported package to work with py2app?

• How do I create multiple submit buttons for the same form in Rails?

  I need to have multiple submit buttons. I have a form which creates an instance of Contact_Call. One button creates it as normal. The other button creates it but needs to have a different :attribute value from the default, and it also needs to set the attribute on a different, but related model used in the controller. How do I do that? I can't change the route, so is there a way to send a different variable that gets picked up by [:params]? And if I do then, what do I do in the controller, set up a case statement?

• How can I prevent a ToggleButton from being Toggled without setting IsEnabled=False

  I have a list of ToggleButtons being used as the ItemTemplate in a ListBox similar to this answer using the MultiSelect mode of the Listbox. However I need to make sure at least one item is always selected. I can get the proper behavior from the ListBox by just adding an item back into the ListBox's SelectedItems collection on the ListBox.SelectionChanged event but my ToggleButton still moves out of its toggled state so I think I need to stop it earlier in the process. I would like to do it without setting IsEnabled="False" on the last button Selected because I'd prefer to stay with the Enabled visual style without having to redo my button templates. Any ideas?

• modalpopupextender.Show() wont fire

  I'm pretty new to developing for the web so bare with me. I have a company page with multiple locations and emails etc at each of these addresses. The idea is to have a single modalpopup to edit each type of data (one for email, one for urls, one for addresses etc). I link the modalpopupextender to a hiddenbutton and then call an edit function from various places where I can populate some hiddenfields and textboxes in the panel before showing it.   Hello, I'm using a Treeview control in a .NET 3.5 c# project and I'm noticing inconsistencies in the checked property when I use the find method of the Treeview control. I'll check some leaves (nodes with no children) and then click a button. Inside the button click I'm using the find method of the treeview control to locate the node and interrogate the value of the checked property. On screen the leaf will be checked but according to the checked property of the node returned from the Find method its not checked. Has anyone else run into this? Thanks

  Hi, I am using a dataset on the server, in this dataset I have a datatable that calls a stored procedure and returns column names from three tables. I call this stored procedure using a web service. I manage to show all the column names in my combobox but when I want to click a button and insert selected column name into a richtextbox I get System.Data.DataRowView in the textbox instead. I have a table, which is paged, and I have 2 controls above the table: Dropdown that defines order of the results and apply button next to it Textbox that defines a filter and apply button next to it What I need to achieve is that if the user changes the order or adds a filter I fire of an AJAX call to my action like such: /Membership/Users?sort=value&filter=value&page=pagenumber. So my controller action is: // GET Membership/Users?sort=&filter=&page= public ActionResult Users(string sort, string filter, string page) So I have 3 questions: Is this the correct approach? What would be the best way to ensure that the query string is maintained, bearing in mind that the action will nearly always be called by Jquery/Ajax functions?   Hello, Why is the binding icon (a small gray icon) not visible in blend for some properties even though they are DependencyProperties? For eg. I dragged a button on my page and dragged a textbox. I want to bind button's content property to textbox's text property. But i can't find the Binding icon in Blend. I know if i type the binding syntax in code it will work just fine. But functions have their own workspace and can not access variables in the global workspace. • CSS: Size of buttons in Chrome is different than Firefox

• For Facebook Apps, how to call the parent window in the iframe?

  So, in facebook, I cannot call myFrame.window to get the iframe parent window. How can I do it? What I'm trying archieve is: I have a popup (div) that will load a iframe. And then in the iframe will have a button. Once people click the button inside the iframe, I want to close the popup(div). Normally, I need to get the parent window. Then I can destroy the popup div. But in facebook, how can I do it? any alternative way to do that? I don't want to refresh the page. :)

• How to push text from one UITextfield to another UITextfield in the next View? And back!?

  an Hi, I have an UITextField in one view, UITextField A in View A. And I have another in view B, UITextField B in View B. I use a Navigation Controller Bar to switch between the views. The UITextFields are properties and connected Outlets of both views A and B. On my view A there is an "Options"-button which pushes view B. So when you are typing in Textfield A, I would like the same text to appear in Textfield B. When you edit TextField B and you go back to view A (via the "Title View A"-button in de navigation bar), I would like the same text to re-appear in Textfield A. I expected this to be easy. But I can't get it working. I tried: ViewBController *controller = [[ViewBController alloc] initWithNibName:@"ViewBController" bundle:nil]; controller.TextFieldA.text = TextFieldB.text But nothing appeared in view B. And how do I get back? I dont want to use NSUserdefaults because I would have to remove the values also.

  Firstly, I'm sort of embarrassed asking about this, so many people have already asked this question but even after having gone through so many posts, I'm unable to achieve what I want. Basically, a div, initially hidden, has to be displayed on a button click. I tried hiding the div using display:none and hide() and then displaying it using show(), toggle(), and css("display","block"). Using all sorts of combinations of the above, I was still unable to get the result.   I did find an answer to this title and I did do a little research but I'm still not getting the flow. Here is what I want to happen: 1) click a button on the presenter view to open a modal view. 2) retrieve some value and click a button to close the modal view....sending the value to the presentor view and execute a method. I get that this works like a callback but I still can't figure out where to put the callback stuff. So, how exactly do I do this? A) In the presentViewController completion block, should I include the presenter view method to execute when modal view is completed? Or: B) In the modal view's dismissViewControllerAnimated completion block, should I include the presenter view method to execute when modal view is completed? Can somebody help me with some sample code? Or at least help me get the flow of which block to put the code in? Thank you, P

• textbox disappears in paging - php
