  • Netcat / Apache solution to send data to PHP

    Hi, I have this device that sends XML data to a webserver in format as follows POST HTTP/1.1 Content-Type:text/xml Content-Length:369 Followed by XML The problem here is that apache simply sends 400 error for this and does not work. Is there anyway to create netcat to read xml and send to php? Any other solution welcome! Is it better to run php to listen to Port? in that case will multiple requests at the same time work?

  • Creating an invisible button in Java Swing

    Hello, I have seen many times on Java Swing GUIs buttons that look like images until the mouse rolls over them. They appear to not have their content area filled. When the mouse rolls over them, the content area fills in but the button looks as though the mouse is not hovering over it. An example of this would be the toolbar of buttons used to activate each demo in SwingSet2. How is this effect possible? Thanks!

I'm not entirely sure how large a sample window it should need to determine frequency content, but the smaller the better. For example, if it can work with a 0.5 second long sample and determine frequency content to the Hz, that would be wicked-awesome.

    I'm writing a ASP.NET application to process user submitted zip files and limiting my extraction of files from it to only the extensions I want. I've heard of infected zip files attached to emails and I was wondering if I should be concerned about extracting data from infected zip files in my application. I don't plan on executing the content inside of the zip file, but will opening and extracting from an infected zip file cause the file to execute a virus even if I'm not executing any content inside of the zip file?

  • Dragging Custom Node in JavaFX

    I cannot get it working although I am very close to an acceptable solution. I can drag the Dock if it is only a rectangle. But if I add a node (e.g. an image) to this dock I am not able to get a working solution. Do you have a code snippet, link or other advices for me?   • Label Size is always NaN ?

    Hi, I have a Panel which I want to extend and override MeassureOverride and Arrange to have my custom layout. Basically, the panel will contain some labels. As the label has some text content, it should have a specific size. However when I use label.ActualHeight or actualwidth, desiredSize ... in the MeassureOverride or ArrangeOverride, all result to NaN. Is there any way I can get the desired Size of the label so that the text content is fit?

    I'm having trouble getting my layout working correctly, I have a main div and a sidebar div these are both float: left if the screen size is resized or if its viewed on screen smaller that what I have designed on (1920x1080) then the sidebar div drops below the main content.     Im building an automatic refreshing comment section for my website using jQuery .load. So I am using a javascript 'setTimeout' timer to check for new comments. But after doing some stuff like changing comment pages or deleting (all using ajax), a few old timers keep running, even though I used clearTimeout before loading new ajax content. Is there some way to clear ALL javascript timers when I load new ajax content?

  • PHP Increasing writing to page speed.

    I'm currently writing out xml and have done the following: header ("content-type: text/xml"); header ("content-length: ".strlen($xml)); $xml being the xml to be written out. I'm near about 1.8 megs of text (which I found via firebug), it seems as the writing is taking more time than the script to run.. is there a way to increase this write speed? Thank you in advance.

  • UIWebView doesn't scroll to the bottom of the webpage loaded/created

    I have a UIWebView inside a normal UIViewController. The content of the UIWebView is programming/dynamically created in my program, and it could be very long (multiple table rows). Somehow, after loading, the page won't scroll more then one and half screen of content when swipe on the screen. Because of that I can only see the beginning few rows of data, but not the many others after them. Why is that?

  • Damaged data when gzipping

    This is the script I hva written for gzipping content on my site, which is located in 'gzip.php'. The way i use it is that on pages where I want to enable gzipping i include the file at the top and at the bottom i call the output function like this: print_gzipped_page('javascript') If the file is a css-file i use 'css' as the $type-argument and if its a php file i call the function without declaring any arguments. The script works fine in all browsers except Opera which gives an error saying it could not decode the page due to damaged data. What I have been unable to understand from the documentation is the correct way to use the new API to create a 'content type' (not a node type) with a number of set fields, such as Body. I'm trying to set up the entity using hook_entity_info, then I believe I need to add the body field using field_create_instance, but I can't seem to get it to work.
