• Attaching an event to an Iframe that contains more iframes

  I have an editor which is in my window that contains a wrapping iframe and then 2 more iframes inside like (the HTML inside the <iframe> element is inserted via write() in JS, not hardcoded like this): <iframe class="parent"> <div class="wrapper"> <iframe class="editor"></iframe> <iframe class="previewer"></iframe> </div> </iframe> One is an editor, the other is a previewer. The first one that contains the two (we'll call this the parent) has an eventListener for mousemove attached to it, but nothing is firing. If i add a 5px border for example, the event will fire when I move my mouse on the border of the parent, but not when i hover over the middle which contains the editor or previewer (previewer is display:none while the editor is visible, and vice versa). So, the blue area in the following i can mousemove, but the rest I can't. It's most likely because of the stacking order, but how can I attach an event to fire on the entire frame? I need mousemove because on mousemove I display a menu in the bottom right. I want the same menu to display whether or not the editor or the previewer is visible.

This is what I have so far: I have written a javascript function (get_my_url) that returns a url, depending on the element id that was passed to the function. How can I work around this?

  I have multiple client databases that I need to hit on the fly and I am having trouble getting the code I have to work. At first I was just storing a connection string in a clinet object in the db, pulling it out based on logged-in user, and passing it to linq data context constructor. This works fine in my development enviorment but is failing on the Winhost server I am using. It is running SQL 2008. I am getting a "The current configuration system does not support user scoped settings." error. Any help or guidance on this issue is greatly appreciated. Greg

  I have a small program to do in Java. I have a 2D array filled with 0 and 1, and I must find the largest rhombus (as in square rotated by 90 degrees) and their numbers. • Jquery - Forms Plugin, Dynamic Tabs

  Hi guys, I am using JQuery UI tabs. When i create a tab using the "$("#" + target).tabs('add', url, title);" method it opens a tab and calls an ajax form correctly.. Now the problem exists when i open an identical tab containing the identical form. When the form is submitted using the forms plugin, things mess up. I am presuming this is due to multiple areas having the same div id and so the form plugin does not know which to update.. Is there a work around for this at all ??

• after .htaccess url rewrite, cannot perform logoff in some of the url rewrited page

  Recently, I was doing .htaccess url rewrite, make all my php url into html, in some page, the logout button wont work properly. for example, in page ‘quotedetails/Q9999.html’ (rewrited from ‘quotedetails.php?quoteID=Q9999'), when I click logout button in this page, it wont do the trick, but when i use the old php url of this page, it works again, other rewrited pages like index.html (index.php), search.html(search.php), all works perfectly. I use firebug to debug, after I click the logout button, it stays in the same page without redirect me to the index.html, but I saw the the ‘logoff’ params has been passed through, but just dont let me logout and redirect to index page. I’ve changed all the relavent file path to absolute path, still no luck…..help please. I’ve also noticed from firebug, that page cannot get the redirect ‘location’ as I tried in other pages, their response headers come with ‘location: index.html’, but in that no-workin-page, there is no such line called ‘location: index.html’ in its response headers. • Getting the DirectShow VideoRender filter to respond to MediaType changes on its Input Pin?

  Below is the code extract from my decoder transform filter which takes in data from my source filter which is taking RTP network data from an IP camera. The source filter, decode filter can dynamically respond to changes in the camera image dimensions since I need to handle resolution changes in the decode library. I've used the 'ReceiveConnection' method as described in the DirectShow help, passing the new MediaType data in the next sample. However, I can't get the Video Mixing Renderer to accept the resolution changes dynamically even though the renderer will render the different resolution if the graph is stopped and restarted. Can anyone point out what I need to do to get the renderer to handle dynamic resolution changes? When i change code: initialization into state_p st[20] and in each loop iteration i put st[i] = (state_p)malloc(sizeof(state_t)) everything works fine, but i want to dynammicly change number of elemets in that table. • Image appearing in the wrong place.

  I have a list that I want to precede on each line with a small image. The CSS: .left div.arrow{background-image: url(../images/design/box.png); float:left; height:15px; width:15px; margin-right:2px;} .left a.list:link, a:visited, a:active {color:black; font-size:0.8em; text-decoration:none; display:block; float:left;} The HTML: <div class="panel">My quick links</div> <div class="arrow"></div> <a href="/messages.php?p=new" class="list">Send a new message</a> <br /> <div class="arrow"></div> <a href="/settings.php#password" class="list">Change my password</a> <br /> <div class="arrow"></div> <a href="/settings.php#picture" class="list">Upload a new site image</a> <br /> As you can see, each image should go before the writing. On the first line, the text "Send a new message" has the preceeding image. However, each line afterwards has the image at the end. So "Send a new message" has an image at the start and finish. It is like the images are staying at the end of the previous line. Any ideas?

• How to force a DIV block to extend to the bottom of a page, even if it has no content?

  Hi, I'm trying to get the content div to stretch all the way to the bottom of the page but so far, its only stretching if theres actual content to display. The reason I want to do this is so if there isn't much content to display, the vertical border still goes all the way down.
