  Hello Everybody, I have developed a website using PHP and MYSQL. The website has a commenting system through which registered users of the website can post comments on the feedback posted by different users. When a comment is posted for a feedback an email is sent to the user who posted that feedback notifying him of new comments on his feedback. Now what I want is that a feedback owner should be able to post a new comment in response to that comment by simply replying to the email that has been sent by the website. I hope I was able to explain my query properly. If it needs any improvement in explanation, I would be glad to know and make changes accordingly Thanks

  I just created a web application on Sharepoint and followed all the instructions as given. When i created web app, it created the Database on SQL and the new website on IIS. But when i goto browse that website, It gives me the following error - The website declined to show this webpage HTTP 403 Most likely causes: •This website requires you to log in. • Need help on how to begin learning website development

  OK for the past 10 days I have been trying to figure out where to begin learning website development a dynamic one, So far everyone told me you should start with computer science and I am like What the @#$% how am I suppose to learn computer science without going to school and get a degree but I don't want a degree I just want to learn how to devlope websites. So now I am here and confused about how to put together a website. I get HTML and CSS but still have some problems designing the site now on the other had I am having trouble trying to figure out how php and database mysql is used to put together a website. I have seen videos from lynda.com and still have no Idea after I have watched the video the basic one, one that teach you the Variables, Loops, Strings ext... ok than what happens, how do you build the website with it, that is the question I am real not understand the answer to. Any help will be appreciated.

I have done a php project on LMS with Zend Framework, Everything is in live. When user post contents for a subject that may be size 200K and submitted to the server takes too slow. Sometime server may get DOWN. I login to server(PUTTY) and checked i found that there is more resource occupied in my server. It uses full memory on the server. When i cleared the resource the site loads well. Site is in Dedicated server with 3 more domains with 4GB Ram. Because of this LMS website all the website gets down. While compiling the website Compilation errors are occuring i.e Licenses.licx file is not compiling, if it compile than it will reproduces an AppLicenses.dll. In the licensing.licx file containing one class and a namespace(i.e. OSADirectLicensing.OSADirectLicensedClass, OSADirectLicensing).   I have a website using cPanel on a dedicated account, I would like to be able to automatically sync the website to a second hosting company or perhaps to a local (in house ) server. Basically this is a type of replication. The website is database driven (MySQL), so Ideally it would sync everything (content, database, emails etc.) , but most importantly is syncing the website files and its database. I'm not so much looking for a fail-over solution as an automatic replication solution, so if the primary site (Server) goes off-line, I can manually bring up the replicated site quickly. I'm familiar with tools like unison and rsync, but most of these only sync file(s) and do not do too well with open database connections.

That seems to be a very simple request and still is using more than a second of cpu. What I am missing?

I am open to use any other tool or script(preferably PHP,Curl) apart from using wget.

  My code is below, and I had an issue with nearly the same code, and it was fixed here on StackOverflow, but, again, its not working. I haven't changed the working code, but i did wrap it in the for...in loop youll see below. • SEO - Does google+other search engines index links within <noscript> tags?

  I have setup some dropdown menus allowing users to find pages on my website by selecting options across multiple dropdowns: eg. Color of Car, Year This would generate a link like: mysite.xyz/blue/2010/ The only problem is, because this link is dynamically assembled with Javascript, I've also had to assemble each possible combination from the dropdowns into a list like: <noscript> No javascript enabled? Here are all the links: <a href='mysite.xyz/blue/2009/'>mysite.xyz/blue/2009/</a> <a href='mysite.xyz/blue/2010/'>mysite.xyz/blue/2010/</a> <a href='mysite.xyz/red/2009/'>mysite.xyz/red/2009/</a> <a href='mysite.xyz/red/2010/'>mysite.xyz/red/2010/</a> </noscript> My question is, if I put these in a tag like this, will I be penalized or anything by search engines such as Google? I've already been doing so for some navigational stuff which required offsets etc. However, now I would be listing a whole list of links here too. I want to provide them here, moreso so that google can actually index my pages - but for those without javascript, they can still navigate too. Your thoughts? Also.. even though I have some links that appear to have been indexed, I AM NOT 100% SURE, which is why I'm asking :P

  Hi I have a temp website set up in IIS Manager (6) linked to an IP / URL, for example: 1.2.3.4 / www.someUrl.com When that url is accessed, the temp website shows fine. But if someone tries to access any other file within that domain, for example: www.someUrl.com/index.cfm?action=profile then the upgrade website does not display. How do I get it to show for all requests made to the domain www.someUrl.com?? Thanks

  I have a web shop which sends my customers to a pretty popular website to redeem their just purchased product (at my site). However, I keep getting complaints that the product has been redeemed at the wrong account. Because the other website is that popular, it often appears that when the customers computer is shared by others the wrong account was logged in (automatically by a coockie). Now I'm wondering which steps I can take to prevent this from happening, since I don't have control over the other website (which does not make clear enough who's logged in).   Hello all! I'm planning to develop a web app where users will list their site/blog. When people submit their sites, how can I confirm that they are the owners of it? So for instance there is a user Mark who wants to submit someone else's website without their approval. I want to restrict Mark from doing so unless he is the actual owner. My idea was to do a comparison between the user's email domain and the website domain she/he wants to submit. If they match allow the user to submit the website. However most people don't register with their website domain address.. or perhaps I'll implement a Facebook connect in the future. What other methods would you suggest?

  Hi Guys What application should I use that is able to automatically access a website to gather information? Basically I have a database that completes calculations for me; however I have to manually gather the parameters from a website and input these into my database. What I would like is have an application that will take my input say the name of a product, access the website, add this name into a search box on a website, complete the search and then extract the desired information from the web page returning the results to my application to complete the calculation thus presenting me with the result. This is a little out of my depth but I’m willing to learn no matter how complicated the software. Cheers for your help.
