  • Postsharp installer bug: .Net 2.0 not presented

    There is an issue with PostSharp 1.5 and 2.0 that won't let you install it on the Windows 7 machine with the error message ".NET Framework 2.0 is not present on this computer". To work around the issue you have to run the installer while being logged in with Administrator account. Not Admin group and not "run as Administrator", you have to be logged in with the Administrator account. Hope that helps, if someone has the same issue.

  • Help Fix a bug - Unexpected T_STRING

    So I have just rebuilt my server, just on local network. Stick my site back on it, try to run the code, and I get a anice T_STRING error. This is all very strange, as I have not changed the code :S <?php $window_ID = -1; if(isset($_POST["window_ID"]) AND $_POST["window_ID"] != null){ $window_ID = trim($_POST["window_ID"]); } ?> This is the start of the file, apter this rather loverly snipit of PHP the rest is just XMl, yet on line 6 appertnlty there is an unexpected T_STRING, which is strange considering all that is on that line is the ?>, then the XML starts up... Any one got any ideas what has gone wrong here? Any chance it ould be magic quotes? I had turned it of before, but I want to now update my code to check for the magic quotes and avoid its stupid actions.

  • Major JQuery bug on IE not reproducible - What can i do in this situation to solve this bug?

    I am hoping to get some help on this issue. Some users on IE have been reporting this javascript issue, but I have been unable to re-produce it. In essence, for some class of windows IE users, the game doesn't work (or $.ajax() is not working). What I know: I swapped out an ajax call (ajax_init_trainer) and used a standard link with some request parameters to do the initialization and ppl seemed to get passed the problem until they hit the next ajax call. I read somewhere that IE does crazy caching so you need to make the urls unique, which is why i added the _requestno parameter. However, setting the cache:false is said to also do this.   • May be an IE z-index bug?

    Below is my code. when open the page in ie browser, then select the text in div, the text will be replaced by some shadow quad blank . If you delete a line z-index:0, in css class test1, the ie will perform correctly. In my project , the z-index must be set greater than zero, so I couldn't delete the line. I found a solution is to set bg_img.filter = "" when pannel.z-index greater than 0, then ie will also working good. But unfortunately, the bg_img.filter.alpha must be set, too.   • Google Doclist API : bug in revision history?

    I'm trying to manage revisions of files (not documents) stored in google docs programatically using gdata document list java library v3. I can create files and revisions using this tool : I can see them in the web UI. The thing is : the content of my revisions seems wrong. Here is my test protocol : I create a plain text file with "Hello World" in it. I upload it to gdocs without converting it. I create a revision of this file, its content changing to "Content of the second version" I create another revision, its content is now "Content of the third version" At each step, I check the content of each revision, using my app AND using the web UI. Here is what I get : First step : no problem i see one version containing the "Hello world" text Second step : no problem either, i see 2 versions, containing Hello World for the first one and Content of the second version for the second. Third step : here the problems comes. I see my 3 versions, but only the third and last seems to be correct. when i download the second version, the content is "Content of the second versio" (not a typo, it misses the 'n'). And i cannot even download the initial version, it seems to timeout. Important thing : I did not have this problem three weeks ago, my revision management worked well. I have no idea of what happens there, except it seems to be server-related, as the problem is seen either with my app or the google native webapp. Last thing : I tried using the google drive API as gdocs had been merged with drive. When i request revisions of my file, the API returns me an error saying that revisions are not supported for files, even if i can see them in the UI. I tried on converted documents, it worked. I'm looking for a workaround for this problem. Has anyone ever encountered such a problem ? Thanks in advance, Jérôme

  • Border-radius bug on <a> in IE9

    Seeing that <div> elements render border/border-radius correctly, but any <a> or <button> that has a background, border and border-radius set shows the background color or image as a square, and only the border is round. Tried setting <a> & <button> to display: block or display: inline-block but that didn't work. Is there a known workaround?     I have an input text in a form that has a problem in MSIE7. When the text field is filled and I continue typing, the background starts scrolling left along with the text. This is the form when the text field is filled http://img155.imageshack.us/i/screen2rl.jpg/ The background image, a white rectangle with rounded corners, scrolls left with the text, leaving the black background. This is the CSS for this text field: border: none; background: url('/wp-content/themes/pokerbuddy/images/field.png') top left no-repeat; width: 100px; height: 20px; padding: 0px; font-size: 80%; color: #399; display:inline; Is there any way to solve this in MSIE7?

If I change Main to: void Main() { Foo<int>((IEnumerable<int>)new[] { 1 }, 2); } It will work ok. Why compiler does not choose the right overload?

  • Strange bug with PHP on Windows 7

    This is the configuration: Windows 7 Home Premium, XAMPP 1.7.3 (Apache 2.2.14 , PHP 5.3.1), Firefox 3.6 This is the PHP-code in a file named 'test.php' in htdocs: <?php echo('04556-8978765'); ?> On http://localhost/test.php I would expect to see the string 04556-8978765 in the browser. This is not what happens, though. The string appears for a short time and then it disappears altogether. Firebug shows an empty body-tag. However, when I look at page source, the string is there alright. When I change the string in the echo-statement to e.g. 4556-8978765, everything is fine. Internet Explorer 8 does not show this strange behavior. I could not reproduce this with the same Apache/PHP/Firefox configuration on Windows XP. '04556-8978765' is by no means unique. The couple '02065-96047' and '02065-9604' behave exactly the same. Can anybody reproduce this and offer an explanation as to what is going on? PS: If you can not see the string '04556-8978765' in the echo-statement above, look at this post with IE8.

    I'm working on displaying some text in an UIWebView on iOS. I'd like to get the content of the HTML element tapped by the user. If he taps on a paragraph for example, a popup shows the paragraph content. I'm using jQuery Mobile to achieve this. Here's what I'm doing : $('body').tap(function(e) { var tappedElement = $(e.target); alert(tappedElement.text()); }); It works for the first tap. The second tap no matter where it is, returns the same text. The event seems to be ok but the target property of the second tap is wrong. On the third tap all comes back to normal and so on ...   • GCC compiler -- bug or unspecified behavior?

    When I have conflicting definitions of the ivars of a class in objective-c (not redeclaring the class in the same file, but rather naming the same class with diff ivars, no warnings or better yet errors are issued by the compiler. However, both sets of ivars are useable by the appropriate methods in the respective files. For instance Foo.m: @interface foo { int a; } - (int)method; @end @implementation foo - (int)method { return a; } @end Bar.m: @interface foo { float baz; } @end @implementation foo (category) - (float)blah { return baz; } @end compiles without warnings or errors. Is this intentional? Is this an unchecked error? (for the record, a and baz are actually the same memory location.)

    Why is that when I search a row in my database, it ended up 0 results? In fact, there are rows that meet my search criterion when I view them manually, but the search button doesnt work as it is. Heres how you can see there are rows that have '0000-00-00 00:00:00' in them, but when I used the search feature, it ended up like this: take note that Im entering it in the right field which is 'AcctStopTime'.     I've run into a strange problem on a WAMP server setup (PHP version 5.3.0, Apache 2.2.11). When using sprintf to output a number, I occasionally get erroneous characters in the output string. Example: (not trimmed from anything, this is the only code in the script) $dt1 = new DateTime('now'); $dt2 = new DateTime('now - 10 min'); $interval = $dt1->diff($dt2); $number = 10.0; $string = sprintf("%.1f", $number); echo "number: $number, string: $string\n"; If I run this at the command prompt with PHP CLI, I get the expected output: number: 10, string: 10.0 However, if I serve it using Apache, in the browser I get number: 10, string: :.0 with a colon where '10' should be. (Note that ':' is the next ascii character in sequence after '9', if $number is 0-9, everything works. Numbers greater than 10 appear to use ascii equivalents - so 11 is ';', 12 is '<', etc.) The strangest part is that the first four lines in the above code sample seem to affect the results. Logically, those statements should have no impact, but if I comment them out or remove them the problem goes away. Any ideas? Anyone else able to replicate this?

    If I try to get endpoints for every year, for example, and do the following: xts.data <- xts(1:10000, order.by=seq(from=as.Date("1970-01-01"), by=1, len=10000)) z <- endpoints(xts.data, on="months", k=12) The return value for this is: > z [1] 0 10000 Same with numbers higher than 12. Why would xts simply not return indices of every year or 13th month starting from the beginning. Is it limited by the number of periods in a year? That is if i did: z <- endpoints(xts.data, on="weeks", k=54) This seems to work fine.
