  • Context Menu Shell Extension not working under Windows 7 64-bit

    I created very simple Context Menu using Shell Extension in C#. It works fine under Windows XP 32 bit but under Windows 7 64 bits menu items not appearing. I tried to build Setup output to x64 but no effect. Simple Source contains ContextMenu and Setup project is under http://bit.ly/9nGd41 Looks like Wow6432 should be handled by Setup project, same for registration and adding to Global Assembly Cache I would be appreciate for help / suggestions with this issue.

These choices would be coming from a data store and be unique to that user. I see how in designer you can add a set of choices statically that show upon the user making a selection. However, what do you do when you need that to come from data and not design it in the designer?

  • Testing the context in asp.net mvc

    I got pretty experienced with testing controllers, my question here is though, aren't we supposed to test the data context as well, and how ? I mean, there are a lot of relationships and constraints coming from the DB that simply testing controllers does not cover. On the other hand, testing against the DB is not considered a good practice - what then ? Simply testing without db.SubmitChanges() or what ?

  • Getting java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: javax.servlet.ServletContext in junit

    I'm using spring mvc in my application and I'm writing junit test cases for a DAO. But when I run the test, I get an error java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: javax.servlet.ServletContext. In the stacktrace, I see that this error is caused during getApplicationContext. In my applicationContext, I havent defined any servlet. Servlet mapping is done only in web.xml so I dont understand why I'm getting this error.     I want to add version info to my mobile device exe file and apparently the following line is not supported in CF (windows mobile 6.0), ideas?: <Assembly: AssemblyFileVersion("1.0.0.0")> I want to be able to to right-click on the .exe after it is copied over to the PC and have the version displayed in a version tab just like any other .exe. I would then be able to read this version in code from a VB6 program.

    Eclipse Helios periodically starts running a job which displays "Computing additional info". During this time, Eclipse is very sluggish, bordering on unusable. What does this job do? Can I shut it off? I just hope that someone in the JDT team comes to sense and gets rid of it, make it go faster, or at the very least change it to something meaningful.

    I am modifying the source code here: http://thinkandroid.wordpress.com/2009/12/30/getting-response-body-of-httpresponse/ I get this error: non-static method getContentCharSet(org.apache.http.HttpEntity) cannot be referenced from a static context String charset = getContentCharSet(entity); This error is line 13 on the second box. Any ideas? I have been really struggling with this code :-(
