    Like the title says, i want to disable images, and ActiveX Controls in the vb6 webbrowser control using DLCTL_NO_RUNACTIVEXCTLS and DLCTL_NO_DLACTIVEXCTLS Microsoft talk about it here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa741313.aspx But i dont see any way to access IDispatch::Invoke from the vb6 application. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I am looking for an encrypted version control system . Basically I would like to -have all files encrypted locally before sending to the server. the server should never receive any file or data unencrypted. -Every other feature should work pretty much the same way as SVN or CVS does today. (not the winform itself). Do you handle a winform event for when the mouse clicked or keyboard keys pressed? or is there a better way to detect changes in the web browser content?

    What's the recommended source control system for a very small team (one developer)? Price does not matter. Customer would pay :-) I'm working on Vista32 with VS 2008 in C++ and later in C# and with WPF. Setting up an extra (physical) server for this seems overkill to me. Any opinions?

    I use Javascript to click a link in the webbrowser control. But I don't want to hear IE's "click" sound. Is there anyway to do this? P.S. I don't want to change system settings.   • What is a good CPU/PC setup to speed up intensive C++/templates compilation?

    I currently have a machine with an Opteron 275 (2.2Ghz), which is a dual core CPU, and 4GB of RAM, along with a very fast hard drive. I find that when compiling even somewhat simple projects that use C++ templates (think boost, etc.), my compile times can take quite a while (minutes for small things, much longer for bigger projects). Unfortunately only one of the cores is pegged at 100%, so I know it's not the I/O, and it would seem that there is no way to take advantage of the other core for C++ compilation?

    I've got to a point where i want to start using version control for my project. Mainly for reverting to previous versions of files if things go belly up, doing diff comparisons. Nothing major. I want something that integrates well with visual studio, and something thats relatively simple to setup. - prefereably with a link to a tutorial for setting up would be nice. Im just using my pc for this so something like TFS is out of the question.
