    This is my Hierarchy Navigation Controller --> Login Controller View --- > Register Controller View --> My Small Internal LeaderBoard View Now I am using segues (Push) to go to either LoginControllerView or LeaderBoardView Once I am on LoginControllerView and then RegisterControllerView I am using this code [self dismissViewControllerAnimated:YES completion:nil] However instead of returning me to LoginControllerView it is returning me back to NavigationController. How can I return to my LoginController

    I have an activity that holds a fragment with Google Map view in it. App adds several dozens of markers to the MapView, using MarkerManager and ClusterRenderer to form clusters. The problem is that when I have marker's InfoWindow opened and I press hardware Back button, it closes the app. Instead of that, I would like to have the InfoWindow closed. Is there any straightforward way to achieve this?

After the user makes some selection and hits the "run" button I pass off the processing to a dll written in C# but what I want is a way to periodically send information back to the client so they can see what's going on like how many records have been processed and things like that.     I have a window with its own H and V scrolling. I'm handling the event like this: case WM_VSCROLL: SetScrollPos(hWnd, SB_VERT, (int)HIWORD(wParam), TRUE); break; all I want is for the position of the scroll bar to stay once I release my mouse but what it's doing is just going back to the top after.     How do I use the back and forward browser buttons to navigate my javascript/jQuery web application? I know I can do window.location.href = 'this_url#placeholder' and then perform the appropriate action. But when I do that, the browser scrolls to the element with that placeholder id (or to the top if there wasn't one). How do I get the browser to not scroll anywhere? I've seen this on other sites like facebook, what's the appropriate mechanism for this?

    Can someone please direct me to process for doing this? I have already done the Login verification exercise using mySQL for the dbase on my host server (thanks to kiksy). Now I am trying to move forward and "Query" from the iPhone a list of "users" that currently occupy the table (iphoneusers) in MySQL. And of course get it back to the iPhone via the php connection.     Hi! I am having some problems with some page post backs that take a loooong time to execute. If I do a "appcmd list requests" I can get something like this: REQUEST "79000001800004e3" (url:POST /dir/file.aspx, time:87219 msec, client:xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, stage:ExecuteRequestHandler, module:ManagedPipelineHandler) REQUEST "8600000080002f82" (url:POST /dir/file.aspx, time:61391 msec, client:xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, stage:AcquireRequestState, module:Session) REQUEST "5e00010280000420" (url:POST /dir/file.aspx, time:21047 msec, client:xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, stage:AcquireRequestState, module:Session) It's one particular file that causes the problem (dir/file.aspx in this case). It comes from the same IP-adress. And the first on is from ManagedPipelineHandler module and the two after that from Session module. I do not have any details about the web browser, or anything more about the client for that matter. I have looked for sql dead locks and did not find any. There are no long running sql queries at all. Do you have any idea of what can be the problem? Regards.

  • Fastest way to compress a database or .bak file and transfer it

    As per the question title. I wonder if there are special programmes or commands that makes zipping up a .bak file and transferring it super quick. I read abour xp_cmdshell here but I'm not sure about the speed. My .bak file is about 12 gigs at the moment. Related to this is the possibility of using Red Gate's SQL Data Compare to just transfer the differential data across the network pipeline but I have never used SQL Data Compare before and I'm not sure how it goes about doing INSERTS on tables with Primary Keys and such. Also, not sure about the speed. Does anyone have any experience with this programme or similar programmes? Cheers!

    IDE - Visual Studio 2008, Visual C++ I have a custom class Class1 with a copy constructor to it. I also have a vector Data is inserted using the following code Class1* objClass1; vector<Class1> vClass1; for(int i=0;i<1000;i++) { objClass1 = new Class1(); vClass1.push_back(*objClass1); delete objClass1; } Now on every insert, the vector gets re-allocated and all the existing contents are copied to new locations. For example, if the vector has 5 elements and if I insert the 6th one, the previous 5 elements along with the new one gets copied to a new location (I figured it out by adding log statements in the copy constructors.) On using reserve(), this however does not happen as expected! I have the following questions Is it mandatory to always use the reserve statement? Does vector does a reallocation every time I do a push_back; or does it happen because I am debugging?

Does the server side application usually print a complete XML file to be parsed each time there is new data? I have a CGI application in C and it includes the SQLite API.   • Fonts, goes back to default size
