• Filter tagged threads in Thunderbird

  I have a big issue with Thunderbird, I need to process a lot of emails coming from request tracking system. Since only few of those apply to me personally, I tag these threads with appropriate tags. The issue now is that I would like to filter out threads, that do apply to me and those that I haven't tagged yet. I'm unable to do this, because new emails keep arriving into the already existing threads, and of course, these new emails don't get the tags. Basically I would need some sort of filtering rule, that would apply not to a specific message, but the master message in the thread. Is there some possibility to create such filters, or is there some other facility, that would allow me to do the same? Tags are great, since they are actually saved into the messages and correctly sync across multiple machines when using IMAP.

• Filter email view in Lotus Notes

  From MS Outlook I am used to have an input field above my list of mails where I can type in a filter string such that every mail not matching this string vanishes. I remember that once - by accident (pressing a weird combination of keys because the window I was actually working in lost focus) - I got something very similar in Lotus Notes. So I think there must be something like this out there, but unfortunately I cannot find it anymore. Does somebody know how to get this kind of functionality in Lotus Notes? Thanks!

  Following exception is thrown every once in a while and it shows up in localhost log file in tomcat log directory. If anyone know how to get rid of it, all help would be appreciated. BTW the filter is working fine I just don't know why this exception is happening. The reason for integrating this filter comes from Spring security FAQs: I'm using Tomcat (or some other servlet container) and have enabled HTTPS for my login page, switching back to HTTP afterwards. It doesn't work - I just end up back at the login page after authenticating. This happens because sessions created under HTTPS, for which the session cookie is marked as “secure”, cannot subsequently be used under HTTP. The browser will not send the cookie back to the server and any session state will be lost (including the security context information). Starting a session in HTTP first should work as the session cookie won't be marked as secure.

• Symfony / Doctrine - How to filter form field by property in related model

  I have a UserForm class which has a select list populated from a related model (specified by a foreign relationship in the yml) like so: $this->setWidget('report_id', new sfWidgetFormDoctrineChoice(array('model' => $this->getRelatedModelName('Report')))); I'd like to filter the Report objects that come from this relation by one of the Report fields, "active" such that only Reports with active=1 appear in the form. I have a method, ReportTable::GetActiveReports() that performs the appropriate query and returns the filtered reports. So one option is to populate the Widget with the results of that function. Any tips on the syntax to do that? It seems to me the cleaner way is to use the UserFormFilter class to filter the reports by active=1 there. Unfortunately I couldn't find any documentation on how to use form filters (or really what they are), so maybe this is not the right solution. Is a Form Filter the appropriate tool for this job? It seems I should use the Doctrine_Record_Filter_Standard class as defined here: http://www.doctrine-project.org/api/orm/1.2/doctrine/doctrine_record_filter_standard.html But it's not clear to me the appropriate usage.   Hello everyone, I'm using soft deleting in my database (IsDeleted field). I'm actively using LoadWith and AssociateWith methods to retrieve and filter nested records. The thing is AssociateWith only works with properties that represents a one-to-many relationship. DataLoadOptions loadOptions = new DataLoadOptions(); loadOption.LoadWith<User>(u = > u.Roles); loadOption.AssociateWith<User>(u = > u.Roles.Where(r = > !r.IsDeleted)); In the example above I just say: I want to retrieve users with related (undeleted) roles. But when I have one-to-one relationship, e.g. Document - File (the only one file is related to the document) I'm unable to filter soft deleted object: DataLoadOptions loadOptions = new DataLoadOptions(); loadOption.LoadWith<Document>(d = > d.File); // the next certainly won't work loadOption.AssociateWith<File>(f = > !f.IsDeleted); So, is there any idea how to filter records within the one-to-one relationship? • Flash/Flex: "Warning: filter will not render" problem

  In my flex application, I have a custom TitleWindow that pops up in modal fashion. When I resize the browser window, I get this warning: Warning: Filter will not render. The DisplayObject’s filtered dimensions (1286, 107374879) are too large to be drawn. Clearly, I have nothing set with a height of 107374879. After that, any time I mouse over anything in the Flash Player (v. 10), the CPU churns at 100%. When I close the TitleWindow, the problem subsides. Sadly, the warning doesn't seem to indicate which DisplayObject object is too large to draw. I've tried attaching explicit height/widths to the TitleWindow and the components within, but still no luck. [Edit] The plot thickens: I found that the problem only occures when I set the PopUpManager's createPopUp modal parameter to "true." I don't see the behavior when modal is set to "false." It's failing while applying the graying filter to other components that comes from being modal. Any ideas how I can track down the one object that has not been initialized but is being filter during the modal phase? Thanks for reading.

• Delphi - Message loop for Form created in DirectShow filter goes dead

  I have a DirectShow filter created with Delphi Pro 6 and the DSPACK direct show library. I'm running under windows XP. I've tried creating the form dynamically when the container class for the DirectFilter has its constructor called, passing NIL into the constructor as the AOwner parameter (TMyForm.Create(nil) and then calling the Form's Show() method. The form does show but then appears to stop receiving windows messages because it never repaints and does not respond to input. As a test I then tried creating my own WndProc() and overriding the Form's WndProc(). My WndProc() did get called once but never again. I'm guessing it's because I'm a DLL and the context that I am running in is not "friendly" to the window message handler for the form; perhaps something to do with the thread that calls it or whatever. If someone could give me a tip on how to solve this or what the proper way to create a persistent window is from the context of a DirectShow filter I'd appreciate it. Note, as I said the window needs to be persistent so I can't create it as a Filter property page. Thanks, Robert

I followed this instructions (added 'django.contrib.markup' to INSTALLED_APPS, include {% load markup %} in the template and use |markdown filter after installing python-markdown) but I get the following error: Error in {% markdown %} filter: The Python markdown library isn't installed. • Exception Handling in ASP.NET MVC and Ajax - [HandleException] filter

  All, I'm learning MVC and using it for a business app (MVC 1.0). I'm really struggling to get my head around exception handling. I've spent a lot of time on the web but not found anything along the lines of what I'm after. We currently use a filter attribute that implements IExceptionFilter. We decorate a base controller class with this so all server side exceptions are nicely routed to an exception page that displays the error and performs logging. I've started to use AJAX calls that return JSON data but when the server side implementation throws an error, the filter is fired but the page does not redirect to the Error page - it just stays on the page that called the AJAX method. Is there any way to force the redirect on the server (e.g. a ASP.NET Server.Transfer or redirect?) I've read that I must return a JSON object (wrapping the .NET Exception) and then redirect on the client, but then I can't guarantee the client will redirect... but then (although I'm probably doing something wrong) the server attempts to redirect but then gets an unauthorised exception (the base controller is secured but the Exception controller is not as it does not inherit from this) Has anybody please got a simple example (.NET and jQuery code).   In Magento I'm creating a custom module and would love to be able to filter automatically by the datetime column so that the intial grid listing shows only entities related to "todays" date. Here is my datetime column: $this->addColumn('ts', array( 'header' => $hlp->__('Activated'), 'align' => 'left', 'index' => 'ts', 'type' => 'datetime', 'width' => '160px', )); I'm think there should be a way for me to just add a filter to the collection like so: $now = Mage::getModel('core/date')->timestamp(time()); $dateTime = date('m/d/y h:i:s', $now); $collection = Mage::getModel('mymodule/items')->getCollection() ->addFieldToFilter('ts', $dateTime); But this doesn't work? Am I using the wrong filter? My "ts" field in the database is a "datetime" field, but the default magento "From: " - "To:" date range selectors don't use hours, minutes, seconds. Any ideas?   Hi all, I want my findbugs report not show the following error: DM_NUMBER_CTOR: Method invokes inefficient Number constructor; use static valueOf instead The problem is that this happens in groovy-generated code files, so I can't control the source code - that is why I want to exclude it and add it to my exclude filter. I do not want to add explicitly class (since I make API that many tools will use, I want my filter to be generic). I would not like to completely remove this bug from the report by type, I would really like to only exclude this bug from appearing if it happenned in "static initializer" methods. Any idea? • Stopping Filter Display in Dynamic Data Entity Web App

  I'm currently experimenting with the Dynamic Data Entity Web App Project type in VS2008 SP1 and after reading many tutorials which offer helpful advice for problems I so far have no need of a solution to I have fallen at the first hurdle. In the DB I have made my entity model from I decided to start small with a table called "Companies" just to see if I could tweak the display into a satisfactory shape for this small table. The Companies table has a column called "contactid" which leads to a record filled with various contact information in a "contacts" table. The default created Entity Data Model has guessed that One companies could have many contact records. So it tries to be helpful and add a "Contact" filter onto the page that allows you to see all the Companies that share a particular set of contact info indexed by the "Contact Name" field. Unfortunately the contact table is a multi-purpose one that also stores contact info for customers and there are about 1000 times more customers than there are companies. So the Dropdown makes the page load time increase exponentially and produces no benefit. So I'd like to just stop the filter from appearing. Only problem is I don't have a clue how to switch it off. Google is so far proving recalcitrant on the matter so I wondered if anyone in here knew how to get rid of a useless filter.

• Coloring Default Buttons - color filter only on unfocused state

  I want to buttons of different colors, but I want to do so while using the default button background resource in order to preserve the onfocus and onclick states. This is because I want to use the default highlight color of the OS for my app, which is NOT always orange (HTC Sense makes it green). I found that adding a color filter to the button's background drawable works great (in this case, blue): myButton.getBackground().setColorFilter(Color.parseColor(this.getString (R.color.button_blue)), Mode.MULTIPLY); BUT, when the button is focused or clicked, it turns a nasty orange_blue because it mixes the color filter with the orange of the background drawable. I want to ONLY set this color filter for the unfocused/unclicked nine- patch drawable within the default button's statelistdrawable. I'm not sure how else to do this. I see a similar solution here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2065430/fixed-android-detecting-fo... but I have some concerns with that solution, mainly what if the OS changes the graphic of the default button? Since the normal unfocused/ unpressed graphic is now hardcoded into the app, it would break the flow. Maybe can someone comment on whether it would be good or bad practice to hardcode the default graphic into the app? What are the chances of the OS completely changing the graphic? Any help please? • How can I "filter" postfix-generated bounce messages?

  We are using postfix 2.7 and custom SMTPD (based on qpsmtpd) in highly customized configuration for spam filtering. We have a new requirement to filter postfix-generated bounces through our custom qpsmtpd process (not so much for content filtering, but to process these bounces accordingly). Our current configuration looks (in part) like this: main.cf (only customizations shown): 2526 inet n - - - 0 cleanup pickup fifo n - - 60 1 pickup -o content_filter=smtp:127.0.0.2 Our smtpd injects messages to postfix on port 2526, by speaking directly to the cleanup daemon. And the custom pickup command instructs postfix to hand off all locally-generated mail (from cron, nagios, or other custom scripts) to our custom smtpd. The problem is that this configuration does not affect postfix generated bounce messages, since they do not go through the pickup daemon. • JTable row filters updates

  Is there a way to tell a JTable's row filter that it should update itself to display the filtered data? I'm currently using the fireTableDataChanged method in the AbstractTableModel but the underlying data for the table isn't actually changing, so this seems like it might be wasteful. The way my filter works is to check if data in the table is in some other list and only display it if it is in that list. So that other list changed and I need to tell the filter to refresh itself. Is fireTableDataChanged the correct way to do this? thanks, Jeff

Show that your result is again a low-pass filter. does this have to do with the coefficients being positive?

For example, my current directory tree looks like this: /apps /AAA /BBB /CCC /libs /XXX /YYY /ZZZ And I would like this instead: /apps /AAA /libs /XXX The --subdirectory-filter argument to git filter-branch won't work because it gets rid of everything except for the given directory the first time it's run. I thought using the --index-filter argument for all unwanted files would work (albeit tedious), but if I try running it more than once, I get the following message: Cannot create a new backup. A previous backup already exists in refs/original/ Force overwriting the backup with -f Any ideas? TIA

• Unable to install mod_wsgi on CentOS 5.5 VPS...

  I am trying to install mod_wsgi on my VPS, but it won't work. This is what I am doing: wget http://modwsgi.googlecode.com/files/mod_wsgi-2.5.tar.gz tar xzvf mod_wsgi-2.5.tar.gz cd mod_wsgi-2.5 ./configure --with-python=/opt/python2.5/bin/python After I run the above command, I get this error: checking for apxs2... no checking for apxs... no checking Apache version... ./configure: line 1298: apxs: command not found ./configure: line 1298: apxs: command not found ./configure: line 1299: /: is a directory ./configure: line 1461: apxs: command not found configure: creating ./config.status config.status: creating Makefile config.status: error: cannot find input file: Makefile.in Through some research I've discovered that I need to modify my command: ./configure --with-apxs=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs \ --with-python=/usr/local/bin/python But, /usr/local/apache/ doesn't exist, or so that's what it is telling me. If it doesn't exist, how do I create it with all the files needed, or if apache is located elsewhere on my VPS where would it be located?   Help is greatly needed for our server. We are experiencing random "Connection reset by peer: mod_fcgid: error reading data from FastCGI server" errors which cause a 500 internal server error. If the page is then reloaded it loads normally as it should. We are running MPM Worker with mod FCGID to handle PHP. We had APC cache enabled but disabled it recently to see if it would fix the problem, but the random mod FCGID errors are still continuing. No other opcode cache is active now. Some of the fcgid timeout settings are higher because we run large reports which take up to 15 minutes. Any help is greatly appreciated! Just to clarify, the random fcgid errors are occurring when a user clicks a page on our site and the 500 error page loads instantly. This is random and occurrs less than 1% of the time but it is still an issue.

• Does ModSecurity 2.7.1 work with ASP.NET MVC 3?

  I'm trying to get ModSecurity 2.7.1 to work with an ASP.NET MVC 3 website. The installation ran without errors and looking at the event log, ModSecurity is starting up successfully. I am using the modsecurity.conf-recommended file to set the basic rules. The problem I'm having is that whenever I am POSTing some form data, it doesn't get through to the controller action (or model binder). I have SecRuleEngine set to DetectionOnly. I have SecRequestBodyAccess set to On. With these settings, the body of the POST never reaches the controller action. If I set SecRequestBodyAccess to Off it works, so it's definitely something to do with how ModSecurity forwards the body data.
