Is there a way to save all my Outook 2007 contacts as vcards?
There is no option under menu File Import and Export...
One can export each contact one by one by selecting the contact and choosing "Save As..." vcard. But that's not what I want. I am looking for a bulk operation.
How can I make SCOM 2007 run an executable or custom code when it receives an event? I'd like to be able to kick off either or when any kind of event hits Ops Manager.
I've used the new Table Formatting option in Excel 2007. Now I can't remove it. I've dragged the little blue square up to the last cell on the top left, but it just won't go any further. In fact it just won't go at all.
Clear all doesn't remove it. What does? I want my table back!
Thanks
Mike
This is driving me nuts!
Is there a way to quickly insert a line to an existing Word 2007 table? In Word 2003 there was a specific button for this - it was quite easy to splice and dice existing cells in an existing table.
What's the easiest way to share a calendar in outlook 2007 between 5-10 people on a local network? I have tried sharepoint and the password prompts are too much of a pain. Security is not an issue; ease and functionality are the priorities.
When using stationery/templates in Outlook 2007, I want to set the caret position between the header and footer by default. Now you have to click in the right place to start typing, which is annoying...
Is the some special markup that would allow me to set a default caret position? Something like this (for Outlook Express 5/6): http://email.about.com/od/outlookexpresstips/qt/et041205.htm.
In Outlook 2007, I can make an appointment "private" by clicking on Private (little lock symbol) in the Options area.
I would like to make all appointments Private by default. Is there any way to do this?
I have a user who is getting a warning message dialog every time he opens a message window in Outlook 2007:
Could not install the custom actions. The object could not be found.
Clicking OK dismisses the dialog and everything appears to work fine.
When using Powershell to set Out-of-Office in Exchange 2007 (e.g.), do multiple commands containing -StartTime and -EndTime add to some internal list that Exchange maintains or does each successive command replace the previous command?
For example we have a staffer who is only in the office Tuesdays and Fridays. We'd like to set up Exchange to send an Out-of-Office message to all internal senders on those days when he's not in. How is this best done?
I went to open Outlook 2007 on my Windows 7 32bit machine and it came up with this error:
Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook window. The set of folders cannot be opened. The information store could not be opened.
I have deleted and created a new profile in Control Panel Mail but it still doesn't want to work properly but it still comes up with this message.
Thanks in advance.
Hi
Does anyone know if there is a way to see when a user had been issued full mailbox rights in Exchange 2007. Or is there a way to check which commands were issued when and by whom?
Thanks

I have a couple of backed up .pst and .ost files that were used with a server that is not accessible anymore. On my local machine, I was able to Add... the .pst file to my fresh Outlook 2007 and access the emails. However, adding an .ost file does not seem to be an options in the Accounts Settings dialog.
Is it possible to import the .ost file, or convert it to a .pst w/o the aid of the exchange server?
In some case some email received with attached video and I search for a way to allow me to preview it in Outlook 2007 without needing to save it as it preview word or excel files embedded in mail .. Could any help me in that ?
Is there a way to automatically create an odd-numbers list in Word 2007 without having to manually change each line number by using the "Set Numbering Value" menu item in the Paragraph section of the Home ribbon?
Is there a way to find my SMTP information on my Exchange Server 2007? It was set up by someone else but I have full admin rights. I would like to use it for an internal .net application just to send emails locally.

In outlook 2007's To-Do bar (the bar on the right with the Calendar, your task list and upcoming appointments), is there a way to hide a specific series of appointments?
I have daily appointments for scrum meetings, but I'm not interested in seeing the whole list of them.
I have a feeling this isn't possible, but anyone got any ideas?
Hi,
Can Exchange 2007 auto-reply to an incoming message? I don't want to set it up in Outlook I want the reply to be done on the server.

Hello. Look at the following picture:
This is MS Word 2007, hello/world is an MathType formula and the second one is an image. I want the picture to be treated exactly the same way, specificallty, having it aligned vertically on the same level with text. How can I do that? TIA
I am trying to create a protected form in MS Word 2007. However, once created it won't tab between the text fields, or from a text field to the next field, it only tabs inside of the text fields. It will tab to the next field for everything else, ie date boxes, list boxes, etc.
I have tried using the Rich Text control, the Plain Text control, the Text Form field and the Text Box control and it all does the same thing.
I am using Word 2007 and am trying to use the combo:
Ctrl + mouse scroll
To zoom in and out of the doc.
This function works fine in other programs (like google-chrome)
Is there a place to fix this ?
edit: I found out that when I scroll the mouse FAST the desired effect happens. I would like it to also work with slower scrolling. The thing is also that on any other program - the scrolling acts as normal. (so this is not a system wide preference)
I'm curious about the file formats of attachments moving through an Exchange 2007 mail environment. For instance the number of .doc vs. .docx files on average. Exchange Profile Analyzer seems more geared to message size than anything else. Is there anything that can provide this information without being hugely intrusive?
