    Hey all, I'm sitting on 8 old computers of varied sorts that are more or less useless at this point for any other purpose really. Is there a way I could link their hardware or processing power or whatever together over wifi and use one as like a central computer? Like it would be cool to distribute the processing of some video game or encryption generating program over the collective computers. Any way to do all this? Thanks.

    I am trying to use a Drive Maps GPO on Server 2012 - User Configuration - Preferences - Windows Settings - Drive Maps. Problem is I want to map a drive to D: but this is automatically assigned to the DVD drive. Question is can I prevent D: being used as the next drive letter when Windows 8 boots up? I seem to recall in early version of Windows, or maybe it was Novell, a first_drive environment variable for this purpose.

There is unidirectional synchronization from server A to server B and I'm using lsyncd for this purpose. with his configuration I have to add blog posts from the first web server so the data is replicated to the second one - how I can force access to Wordpress back-end only from the first web server? I'm just writing my own file analyzer for general purpose, which can dump JPEG, PNG, EXE, ELF, ASN.1 DER encoded files, etc. in tree style. There are so many file formats in the world that I can't handle them all. So I'm wondering if there's some software already there, with pluggable architecture and a large established file format repository?

The purpose is to run the command occasionally with other commands to keep my tools up-to-date (probably in a cron job on my development machine. I looked around man vim, but cannot figure out what option I need to pass. I think this is a general question for vim, but I'm using Mac and Ubuntu for the development.

    I have heard it suggested that we set up a special email address, with it's only purpose being to be harvested. Then blacklisting every sender that targets this address. I'm wondering: if anyone else has tried this how do you go about doing it (ie - put the address in a hidden field on your website - or better ways?) does it work? Is there anything to watch out for when trying this (ie. legitimate senders using harvested addresses?)

If the owner of the database is disabled, what would stop working?

    I am trying to make a live usb of OPHCRACK and tried to boot from FAT32 pendrive. But after making live usb and boot from it the ophcrack didnt work. After searching a while i came to understand that ophcrack will not work in a fat32 pendrive and we have to convert it into ext3.
