• Orchard CMS translation in Macedonian language

  In the past two weeks I have been working on translating Orchard CMS in my native (Macedonian) language. Finally, the translation is completed and it is available for download in the Orchard Localization page. About 90% of the strings are translated. • Remove gradients from elementary theme?

  I really don't like the gradients in the elementary theme, and I was wondering if there were a way to remove them, from applications like Nautilus-Elementary, Postler, Dexter, etc. I've tried commenting out the Apps/[Application].rc in /usr/share/themes/elementary/gtk-2.0/gtkrc but it doesn't work, still leaves the gradients in their place. I'm a big fan of the other controls in the theme; the scroll bar, the way it borders gedit and the buttons, and I'd like to keep these features, but I don't like the way it styles its windows. • My Visual Studio 2010 Dark Theme

  Everyone has their preferences for their development IDE. Colors, fonts, tools, keyboard shortcuts, etc. Im certainly no different. I really prefer the darker themes over the white background. The brightness of the white background wears on me after a while. The dark theme sets me in a mellow coding mood :) I dont generally keep a theme exactly as is for a long time. • Codeblocks gui problems [closed]

  I'm having problems with Code::Blocks 10.05 my os specs: Ubuntu 11.04 - fresh install gtk theme: Ambiance Unity The actual problem (don't mind the code nor the errors) the most visible one - stripes As I scroll down the code, the horizontal stripes start to show up. I think it's some problem with the screen updating, because when I force it to update (for example by selecting the text or invocating the contextual menu by pressing the right mouse button), the stripes disappear. the second one - font colour bug I believe this is the Ambiance's bug because it doesn't happen in other themes. You can see it in the left panel where it says "Workspace" and in the panel at the bottom in the Build messages tab: the selected line makes the text barely readable. Is there any fix to these bugs? Thanks.

• Compiz stop working

  I'm on a laptop sony vaio, vng-nw330f with ubuntu 11.10. One day I used my computer normally, I shutdown and the other day when I turn on it again, all was different. Compiz effects is not working at all, it doesn't matter what plugin (from ccsm) i enable or disable, nothings happens, nothings changes. I tried next commands: unity --reset unity --reset-icons sudo rm -rf .config .gnome .gnome2 .gnome2_private .compiz .icons .fonts .nautilus .themes .qt .local (from my home directory) gconftool-2 --recursive-unset /apps/compiz-1 I try reinstalling compiz (I remove compiz from software center and installed it again). I have just a couple of weeks using ubuntu, I'm not sure if exist a desktop call it unity 3d, but I think that it's missing. I want the graphics interface of ubuntu 11.10 by default.

  Some of our customers choose to use the Themes feature to rebrand their Training and Support Center link, and redirect it to an internal support site. If your company does this, we strongly advise that for your employees that have the Administrator role, you maintain a separate theme that keeps the Administrator's Training and Support link pointed to the CRM On Demand Training and Support Center, and not redirect it to an internal support site. Why? The company administrator needs access to the Training and Support Center because it gives them pod-specific application alerts on the Support tab and pod-specific release information on the Release Info tab. If a customer no longer has access to the Training and Support Center URL because they have already rebranded that link, they can contact Customer Care to request it again.

• Inline code within HEAD section of ASP Web Form

  Today I needed to include inline code within the HEAD section of an Web Form in order to dynamically include stylesheets based on the theme set for the application.   Below is an example:      <link href="../../Resources/Themes/<% = Page.Theme %>Grid.Default.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">   Upon saving and viewing the page I noted that the code was not being interpreted and instead was being treated as a string literal.  How to get around it?  Add a panel control in the HEAD section and place the links to the stylesheets as in the example above within the panel.  For whatever reason, ASP.NET does not want to interpret inline code in the HEAD section but will allow you to add .NET controls in the HEAD section.

  What do you call it when a web site (especially corporate/retail) has a series of rows with thumbnails, each with a little caption/description beneath explaining some benefit or feature of a product or service. Is there a name for this? I'm building a theme that incorporates this kind of design and I was hoping there is some kind of shorthand for this design feature. • Cannot install gnome extensions from gnome site. No switch appearing in firefox or chrome

  I have installed ubuntu 12.04, and installed gnome3 on my system. I am attempting to download the user theme extensions from extensions.gnome.org, but I can't see this "switch" everyone's talking about. I've tried both chromium and firefox browsers on the site. I found a similar subject here at askUbuntu. I followed the directions but I got a warning about gnome common dependencies. I installed gnome-extensions-common without an error but I still cannot install user-themes, and I can't find the mysterious "switch". Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

• Problem with gnome-shell-extensions-user-theme

  I'm trying to install themes with gnome tweak, and I need to install gnome-shell-extensions-user-theme because otherwise I cannot see the shell extensions tab. However, I cannot install shell extensions. I have tried to install by adding the PPA with the following: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/gnome3 Then, sudo apt-get update Finally, when I try to install: sudo apt-get install gnome-shell-extensions-user-theme It gives an error: The following packages have unmet dependencies: gnome-shell-extensions-user-theme : Depends: gnome-shell-extensions-common but it is not going to be installed E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages. I am convinced that there is a problem with the package. So I went on and tried to install the extensions from the website: https://extensions.gnome.org/ But even though I use Firefox (15.0), I cannot see the "switch" that is being mentioned to install the extension. Maybe the version of Firefox is too new. Is there any workaround that you know of? (By the way, I use Ubuntu 12.04, freshly downloaded and installed.)

• Increase traffic to a site through a site on subdomain [closed]

  Possible Duplicate: Subdomain versus subdirectory We have two sites, one is mainly a portfolio site (built with Yii framework) and the other is a digital shop (built with open cart) where we sell plugins and themes. The url's look like www.mydomian.com and www.store.mydomain.com. But of these sites are in the same server. We use google analytics tools and have no problem getting traffic to our store. But we have very little to our portfolio site and we want to increase our Google ranking for this site. Assuming increased traffic to our site will increase our google ranking, we were thinking to use URl masking so the link will be www.mydomain.com/shop and this will load www.store.mydomain.com. Will this count as hits for our portfolio site? Because the .htaccess rules will ensure the subdomain is served. So I dont know if these hits will count on our store or our portfolio site...

• Web development tools/approaches?

  My day job involves a bit of programming, but I've recently been attempting some web development for personal reasons. I've got Drupal up and running and done basic things like add new content (i.e. heading and text) and add modules and themes, but I'm not sure how to approach actually designing pages. When I mucked around with webpages 15 years ago, it was just a mixture of HTML, CSS and Javascript, generally written with a text editor. Have things changed, or is this the way I'd make a Drupal page today? If it makes a difference, in my case the page's I want to design simply have static content, but I'd like them to be easily updatable.
