    I have a Google Engage account, which keeps showing me: Your Google Account has changed The email address on your Google Account has changed. The account that controls your Engage membership now has an email address of: fasheikh15%[email protected]. How can I fix this? Go to the sign-in page: Sign In Log in with your normal password but instead use the following email address: myemailadd%[email protected] You will then be given the option to switch your Engage member profile to: [email protected]. If you wish to do this then just follow the on-screen instructions when you get to the Switch Accounts page. I've been contacting them since April to no avail so I thought I'd see if anyone here has any fixes?

  • Ubuntu 12.04 installer does not recognize Windows 7

    I recently purchased an ASUS N56VZ-ES71 laptop which came with Windows 7 Home Premium installed on it. I wish to dual boot Windows 7 and Ubuntu 12.04 on it. I shrank the hard drive partitions to leave about 150 GB unallocated for Ubuntu 12.04. When I boot the Live CD of Ubuntu and attempt to install, the installer does not recognize any other operating systems. Through reading a few questions, I have found that this is due to a GPT partitioning table that Windows uses. I ran boot-repair as per other threads' suggestions. This was my output: http://paste.ubuntu.com/1176988/ I suppose my question is: how do I proceed in order to get the installer to recognize Windows, so that I don't have to erase the current partition table and can get a safe install?   • In-memory DB to perform intersects on set slices

    I have a specific programming need where I need to efficiently store large sorted sets in memory, query them for ranges, and intersect them against other sets that are also queried for ranged. I am looking at Redis, but I can't see a range slice command. MongoDB can only use 1 index, so it has to perform row-level scans, whereas I wish to process using columns that are intersected. I'm also looking at Counchbase, but can't easily determine from the documentation if it is suited to this. I know it uses Memcached, which is AFAIK not suited to this usage. Could anyone share potential solutions for this specific problem? EDIT For example, I need to perform the following: Get the IDs of all cars where the price is between 2000 and 3000, and intersect that will all cars where the engine capacity is between 3000 and 4000.

  • Cannot boot from USB to install 12.10

    i am a long time user of Ubuntu and this is the first time a such thing happens to me. I usually upgrade from a version to an other, but this time i wish to do a clean install. I want to totally remove my 12.04 and do a clean install of 12.10, i created a live USB then i restarted my computer to boot from USB, i got the following error: Product is covered by one or more of the following patents: US5,434,872, US5,732,894, (and many more) Under that i see: PCIe GBE Family Controller Series v2.38 Media test failiure Exiting PXE ROM And then it reboots I've searched a lot for an answer, i guess the problem is with something in my bios, but i didn't find a fix. I would really appreciate a fix for my problem. My laptop is a Toshiba p775 dual boot ubuntu 12.04 and windows 7.

  • xset: unable to open display

    for the longest time after about 5 minutes my screen would blank out. Now the screen will go blank after 5 minutes but then 2 seconds after that it will light up white and keep the laptop backlighting on. I didnt change any settings to my knowledge it just happened randomly after powering it on one day and has occurred since then. I wish to resort back to blanking the screen out completely since i leave this computer on all the time and its hard to sleep with a huge white light all the time. "xset dpms force off" just yeilds me ---- xset: unable to open display ""

The network setup will be internet modem connected to an Ubuntu Server (2 networks cards). The first network cards to get the internet to the server and the second network card to connect the the wifi hotspot. The server will host the software such as (Example software for windows) which will control the user connected by forcing them to login with the credentials given at the reception.     I'm using the Kendo UI ComboBoxes in cascade mode to build up a filter that I wish to apply. How do I clear/reset the value of a Kendo UI ComboBox? I've tried: $("#comboBox").data("kendoComboBox").val(''); $("#comboBox").data("kendoComboBox").select(''); $("#comboBox").data("kendoComboBox").select(null); all to no avail. The project is an MVC4 app using the Razor engine and the code is basically the same as the Kendo UI example.

  • jQuery Validation plugin: disable validation for specified submit buttons

    I have a form with multiple fields that I'm validating (some with methods added for custom validation) with Jörn Zaeffere's excellent jQuery Validation plugin. How do you circumvent validation with specified submit controls (in other words, fire validation with some submit inputs, but do not fire validation with others)? This would be similar to ValidationGroups with standard ASP.NET validator controls. My situation: It's with ASP.NET WebForms, but you can ignore that if you wish. However, I am using the validation more as a "recommendation": in other words, when the form is submitted, validation fires but instead of a "required" message displaying, a "recommendation" shows that says something along the line of "you missed the following fields.... do you wish to proceed anyways?" At that point in the error container there's another submit button now visible that can be pressed which would ignore the validation and submit anyways. How to circumvent the forms .validate() for this button control and still post? The Buy and Sell a House sample at http://jquery.bassistance.de/validate/demo/multipart/ allows for this in order to hit the previous links, but it does so through creating custom methods and adding it to the validator. I would prefer to not have to create custom methods duplicating functionality already in the validation plugin. And for those who say my my follow-up answer regarding "but requires a double-click": this was merely due to a leftover experiment line that was unbinding the event - again something I don't know how I overlooked when testing.   • Keep IIS 7 URL Rewrite module from matching /ScriptResource.axd

    I have a website and I have installed URL Rewrite using Web Platform Installer. I wish to allow a user friendly URL like www.foo.com/123456 to go to www.foo.com/page.aspx?blah=123456. Using the User-friendly URL template accomplishes this except that the created rule also matches all of the /scriptresource.axd?blahblah created by ASP.NET which of course breaks most functionality. My initial attempts to exclude the script resource files have failed. The regex generated by the tool is ^([^/]+)/?$

  • ext-js chart, multiple series on same chart

    Ext-js Chart, I have a line graph, and I wish to add a single line(eg. average line) to the graph. The only way I can think of to emulate this line is to do the following: add an extra field with identical value to all my data points if, but this seems to be a waste and plus I don't want to show the dots that comes with the line. is there anyway to add an average line to my existing chart?
