• Django admin interface upload failing on request data read error

  Hi All, This is an updated version of an old question I asked. I've now done a lot more testing, plus the old question got hijacked. I'm getting a request data read error when trying to upload files to the Django admin interface. Files under about 150k work, but bigger files always fail and almost always at around 192k (that's 3 chunks) completed, sometimes at around 160k. The Exception I get is below. File "/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/django/http/multipartparser.py", line 405, in read return self._file.read(num_bytes) IOError: request data read error I've tried Chrome and Firefox on Windows and Firefox on Mac - Same results. I can upload to other sites so I don't think it's my connection. I'm running python 2.4, django 1.1, mod_wsgi, on CentOS (a media temple DV server) Locally it's fine (Django development server) Everything I've found on this issue says it's a mod_python issue and that changing to mod_wsgi will fix it, but I am running mod_wsgi. Can anyone help?

  I am trying to send a simple XML file of the format given in http://wiki.hudson-ci.org/display/HUDSON/Monitoring+external+jobs . I was able to send it easily and was getting desired result!! Then I tried to build this XML file using python script and it was giving me the exact file that I wanted without any problem. But when I tried to run this and send it to Hudson, I was getting the error - "No module named dom.minidom" . I checked again by executing in Python IDLE and it ws working fine but when I tried to send it again, I was getting the same error.. plz help..

  i have subversion setup using apache and DAV. OS is RHEL 4. Repository is created on NFS server mounted on this machine. when i try to access this repository i get following error in apache logs (20014)Internal error: database is locked Could not fetch resource information. [500, #0] Could not open the requested SVN filesystem [500, #200030] Could not open the requested SVN filesystem [500, #200030] The URI does not contain the name of a repository. [403, #190001] i did 'chmod' on that mounted partition but problem still persists. any help?

  I am trying to work with several projects on visual studio 2005. I have one project that depends on two others. I have included those two project in the first project solution, and set the dependencies correctly.   SQL injection that actually runs a SQL command is one thing. But injecting data that doesn't actually run a harmful query but that might tell you something valuable about the database, is that considered SQL injection? Or is it just used as part to construct a valid SQL injection? An example could be set rs = conn.execute("select headline from pressReleases where categoryID = " & cdbl(request("id")) ) Passing this a string that could not be turned into a numeric value would cause Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d' Type mismatch: 'cdbl' which would tell you that the column in question only accepts numeric data and is thus probably of type integer or similar. I seem to find this in a lot of pages discussing SQL injection, but don't really get an answer if this in itself is considered SQL injection. The reason for my question is that I have a scanning tool that report a SQL injection vulnerability and reports a VBScript runtime error '800a000d' as the reason for the finding.

• Object reference error even when object is not null

  hi, i have an application wherein i have incorporate a "Remember Me" feature for the login screen. I do this by creating a cookie when the user logs in for the first time, so next time when the user visits the site i get the cookie and load the user information. i have written the code for loading user information in a common class in the App_Code folder...and all my pages inherit from this class. code for loading the user info is as follows: public static void LoadUserDetails(string emailId) { UsersEnt currentUser = UsersBL.LoadUserInfo(emailId); if (currentUser != null) HttpContext.Current.Session["CurrentUser"] = currentUser; } Now the problem is i get an "Object reference" error when i try to store the currentUser object in the session variable (even though the currentUser object is not null). However the password property in the currentUser object is null. Am i getting the error because of this...or is there some other reason?? thank you

  When I try to validate a certain page I get the below error: Sorry, I am unable to validate this document because on line 136 it contained one or more bytes that I cannot interpret as utf-8 (in other words, the bytes found are not valid values in the specified Character Encoding). Please check both the content of the file and the character encoding indication. The error was: utf8 "\xFF" does not map to Unicode What exactly does this mean and how can I find out what character is causing the problem? The page is generated dynamically in PHP and a bit large and I am not sure what to look for.

I need to setup a webViewClient to the PhoneGap webView in order to capture the URL of a page finished and to work with that. To get that grant access screen by LinkedIn. I am loading above Url using htmlComponent, and adding HtmlComponent to form and show it. Occasionally when I click on the "Ok I'll Allow It" button (i.e. after the button has been pressed) I get the following error message. "We’re sorry, there was a problem with your request. Please make sure you have cookies enabled and try again." but i'm receiving the response with oauth_token, oauth_token_secret, oauth_callback_confirmed = true, xoauth_request_auth_url, oauth_expires_in.   I'm in the process of re-setting up my Django development environment after reinstalling my OS. We use django-photologue with our project, which I installed using easy_install. However, I'm getting a template error on every template that has a photologue photo: TemplateSyntaxError at /newsroom/news/ Caught an exception while rendering: (13, 'Permission denied') One example of the line where the error is located: <img src="{{ photo.get_list_url }}"> I'm totally stumped--I've used photologue for this project on many different platforms and have never had this problem. Google yields nothing. I'm currently using Jolicloud (based on Ubuntu Jaunty). I'm working with a pre-existing database, so all of the photo sizes and everything have already been set up.

  Help. I installed VS.NET 2010 and now my existing ASP.NET MVC application won't run. I checked that the 1.0 version of System.Web.Mvc is still referenced but when I browse my application, I get an error like this: "Compiler Error Message: CS1579: foreach statement cannot operate on variables of type 'object' because 'object' does not contain a public definition for 'GetEnumerator'". My partial view has this declaration: <%@ Control Language="C#" Inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewUserControl<List<ProductModel" %> //various import statements <div <% foreach (var category in Model.Categories) { % <span<%= category.Name %</span <span<%= category.Market%</span <% } % </div For what it's worth, the source view shows ViewUserControl in red and gives a tool tip reading "Cannot resolve symbol 'ViewUserControl'". My working code didn't change, the only delta is that I upgraded to VS.NET 2010 (which includes MVC 2.0); I'm sure something is not referenced correctly but I cannot figure out what's going on.

  I got the above error in my jasper report mail. The query that is used in the report is quite complicated (for me). Reading different posts I conclude that to solve this the I have to change the query to SET TRANSACTION ISOLATION LEVEL REPEATABLE READ GO BEGIN TRANSACTION ... my query ... COMMIT TRANSACTION ? I wonder if this is the correct way to solve the error and that if it has any side effects? Has it happened to anyone in the Jasper reports? Does anyone know if there is a better solution exist to the problem? (Although that I have not yet tested the above solution, if anyone can give any insight on this will be helpful.)

• What CPAN module can summarize arbitrary error logs?

  I'm maintaining some website code that will soon dump all its errors and warnings into a log file. In order to make this a bit more pro-active I plan to parse this log file daily, summarize the warnings and errors (i.e. count the occurrence of each specific one and group by either warning/error) and then email this to the devs on the project. This would likely admittedly be rather trivial with a hash and some further fiddling, I wondered if there is a suitable module on CPAN that I could use to do this task. It would either be one that summarizes specifically Perl error/warnings logs or one that summarizes arbitrary text files. Any suggestions?

  I'm stumped! We have a user control for managing account information. We use this particular control on two pages. On one page, everything works perfectly and meets our expectation. On the second page however we receive compilation errors stating that: "C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET Files\lrpcentral\0e987bea\6719c8b6\App_Web_PageThatFails.aspx.f3d462c1.oi52bvii.0.cs(172): error CS0433: The type 'xxxx_ascx' exists in both 'c:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET Files\APPLICATIONNAME\0e987bea\6719c8b6\App_Web_xxxx.ascx.cdcab7d2.xbnvt2za.dll' and 'c:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET Files\APPLICATIONNAME\0e987bea\6719c8b6\App_Web_eix7xllr.dll' My problem is similar to Cyril's but the "delete everything from Temp" is not an option for me, and Cyril's solution does not apply since the only variable we have is contained in the designer file, which is not deployed to our production environment (we pre-compile).
