  • Cannot load rJava because cannot load a shared library

    I have been struggling to load the rJava package in R. I get the following messages > library(rJava) Error in inDL(x, as.logical(local), as.logical(now), ...) : unable to load shared library \ 'C:/PROGRA~1/R/R-210~1.1/library/rJava/libs/rJava.dll': LoadLibrary failure: The specified module could not be found. Error : .onLoad failed in 'loadNamespace' for 'rJava' Error: package/namespace load failed for 'rJava' I have tried so many solutions that they are all bamboozeled in my head. At some point I even got > R Console: Rgui.exe - System Error The > program can't start because > MSVCR71.dll is is missing from your > computer. Try reinstalling the program > to fix this problem.     Hi, I am making my Master's Thesis with LaTeX, but I can't get the provided style to work. Specifically, I get the error 'Undefined control sequence' when using the function makeformaltitlepages, which is defined in mscthesis.sty. On the internet, the only answer I could find is the straightforward 'you probably made a typo', or 'you probably forgot to include the package', but I have reason to believe neither of those apply to me. I am quite sure that the function exists, for when I add a little verification, using the @ifundefined command, the logfile shows that the function actually does exist. And, as can be seen in the following piece of code, I also include the package: \usepackage{mscthesis} % setup information like author, company, title, etc. \begin{document} \formatmatter \thispagestyle{empty} \maketitle \makeatletter \@ifundefined{makeformaltitlepages}{\message{Function is not defined.}}{\message{Function is defined.}} \makeatother \makeformaltitlepages{\input{abstract}} % add chapters, sections, etc. and end the document Now, the output shows the line "Function is defined." just before the output of maketitle (which I think is rather strange on its own, but that might be a flushing issue), followed by the following infinitely repeated error (well, cut off after 100 times by LaTeX): Function is defined. // some gibberish about font info !   • Windows 7 - Enable Network DTC Access

    I have a Visual Studio 2010 Windows Forms application in which I start a transaction using the TransactionScope class. I then Receive a message from a Sql Server Broker Services message queue, which works fine. I next try to call a stored procedure from the same database with a call to my data access layer which is a Visual Studio dataset (xsd file). When I make this second call to the database I get the following error message: The MSDTC transaction manager was unable to pull the transaction from the source transaction manager due to communication problems. Possible causes are: a firewall is present and it doesn't have an exception for the MSDTC process, the two machines cannot find each other by their NetBIOS names, or the support for network transactions is not enabled for one of the two transaction managers. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8004D02B). I've seen several posts on the web that talk about Enabling DTC access through dcomcnfg.exe, and allowing DTC to communicate through Windows Firewall. I've done those things, and am still having this problem. I know our remote database server is setup to Enable DTC access, because we are using similar transactions in other projects built with Visual Studio 2008 on Windows XP and Vista. I think there is something specific about Windows 7 and Visual Studio 2010 causing this problem, but haven't been able to find out what it is. Can anyone help with this problem?

  • SSRS 2005 Set SimplePageHeaders on the report instead of the server?

    I have one report that does not export to excel friendly from SSRS 2005. I know I can use <Render> <Extension Name="EXCEL" Type="Microsoft.ReportingServices.Rendering.ExcelRenderer.ExcelRenderer,Microsoft.ReportingServices.ExcelRendering"> <Configuration> <DeviceInfo> <SimplePageHeaders>True</SimplePageHeaders> </DeviceInfo> </Configuration> </Extension> </Render> in the rsreportserver.config, but I am not the only person with reports on this machine. I also found that you can pass &rc:SimplePageHeaders=True in the url to export the report programatically. I tried adding the &rc:SimplePageHeaders=True to the end of the url when navigating to the report manager, but when I select excel from the dropdown and click export the headers are still exported. I even tried setting the rc:Command=Render and rc:Format=EXCEL in the url too without any luck. Is there a way to do what I am trying to do? note: I am wanting to render the report on the built in report manager and use the build in export to excel dropdown, not in an app or website.

    Currently I have Android SDK 2.1 (+ tools revision 4). I'd like to upgrade to Android SDK 2.2. When I try to do it I'm informed I need to upgrade Android SDK Tools to revision 7 first. So I agree, the process starts and then I get an error: -= warning! =- A folder failed to be renamed or moved. On Windows this typically means that a program Is using that Folder (for example Windows Explorer or your anti-virus software.) Please momentarily deactivate your anti-virus software. Please also close any running programs that may be accessing the directory 'D:\Install\Programming\android-sdk-working-dir\android-sdk_r04-windows\android-sdk-windows\too!s'. When ready, press YES to try again. Downloading Android SDK Tools, revision 7 Installing Android SDK Tools, revision 7 Failed to rename directory D:\Install\Programming\android-sdk-working-dir\android-sdk_r04-windows\android-sdk-windows\tools to D:\Install\Programming\android-sdk-working-dir\android-sdk_r04-windows\android-sdk-windows\temp\ToolPackage.old01. I am aware of http/https and antivirus issues. So I disactivated my AV. I also closed any application that might hold a handle to the folder. Eclipse is also closed (I start the manager via command line). However I still get the same error. Looks like the only app that can hold a handle to the folder is the manager itself, because its starting directory is the one the error complains about ('\tools'). I am on Win XP Pro + SP3. Does anyone have an idea?

    I would like to inject a Mockito mock object into a Spring (3+) bean for the purposes of unit testing with JUnit. My bean dependencies are currently injected by using the @Autowired annotation on private member fields. I have considered using ReflectionTestUtils.setField but the bean instance that I wish to inject is actually a proxy and hence does not declare the private member fields of the target class. I do not wish to create a public setter to the dependency as I will then be modifying my interface purely for the purposes of testing.     To start with I'll say I've read the post here and I'm still having trouble. I'm trying to create a CE6 image with a hive-based registry that actually stores results through a reboot. I've ticked the hive settings in the catalog items. In common.reg, I've set the location of the hive ([HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\init\BootVars] "SystemHive") to "Hard Drive\Registry" (Note: the flash shows up as a device called "Hard Drive") In common.reg, I've set "Flags"=dword:3 in the same place to get the device manager loaded along with the storage manager I've verified that these settings are wrapped in "; HIVE BOOT SECTION" This is where it starts to fall over. It all compiles fine, but on the target system, when it boots, I get: A directory, called "Hard Disk" where a registry is put A device, name called "Hard Disk2" where the permanent flash is Any changes made to the registry are lost on a reboot What am I still missing? Why is the registry not being stored on the flash? Strangly, if I create a random file/directory in the registry directory, it is still there after a reboot, so even though this directory isn't on the other partition (where I tried to put it), it does appear to be permanent. If it is permanent, why don't registry settings save (ie Ethernet adapter IP addresses?) I'm not using any specific profiles, so I'm at a loss as to what the last step is to make this hive registry a permanent store.

    Arg! I have a custom "harness" executable running my class library project. Every time I step into the harness's code, I get that "No Source Available" pane popping up. As I know there is no source available, and that this is completely expected, I don't want this very intrusive and useless pane popping up every time. How can I suppress it completely? I can make it smaller at least by making that window part of another smaller pane-set, such as with the watches/locals. It remembers its location from run to run, but its still useless. There might be a more general answer to this question - how can I suppress any particular pane/window from showing at all? I have a VSX package, originally built for VS 2008 (and must keep that compatibility) but I just don't know what command to run to do it. (I had the package commissioned, so I have the source, but not the know-how. This seems like a one/two liner). Thanks!

  • HL7 parsing in PHP

    Hi all, I'm looking into options for parsing HL7 messages via PHP. I'm aware of the Net_HL7 package on PEAR but to be perfectly honest, I don't think that I want to base my code around a seemingly 'abandoned' package and even if I did, I just don't think that my brain suits the functions 'correctly'. Maybe if I had more of an HL7 background it would make a bit more sense, I don't know. Anyway: I'm guessing that 95% of the time, I'm going to be parsing and reading data from messages. The other 5%, I'll be creating and/or sending messages. I don't necessarily need to do any form of validation on the messages themselves, I just need to pull/push data. I definitely need support for 'non-XML' HL7 v2.x, but naturally XML-based v2 and v3 would be a bonus. So does anyone have any suggestions as to other libraries that I might use? I'm looking for pure PHP solutions as I want to have minimal requirements on the server that aren't "copy this directory here". Thanks!

    I'm trying to start a Wicket Application using Felix implementation of OSGi HTTP service, for that I just register the service using WicketServlet with applicationClassName parameter: props.put("applicationClassName", MainApplication.class.getName()); service = (HttpService)context.getService(httpReference); service.registerServlet("/", new WicketServlet(), props, null); I have also tried using Felix Whiteboard implementation and registering the web service as a Servlet one: props.put("alias", "/"); props.put("init.applicationClassName", MainApplication.class.getName()); registration = context.registerService(Servlet.class.getName(), new WicketServlet(), props); In both cases it fails when I deploy it using Pax Runner and Felix (mvn package install pax:run -Dframework=felix -Dprofiles=log,config), the exception seems to be related with the ClassLoader: [Jetty HTTP Service] ERROR org.apache.felix.http.whiteboard - Failed to register servlet org.apache.wicket.WicketRuntimeException: Unable to create application of class es.warp.sample.HTTPLocalGUI.MainApplication .... .... at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:252) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClassInternal(ClassLoader.java:320) at java.lang.Class.forName0(Native Method) at java.lang.Class.forName(Class.java:247) .... .... I have tried to export everything in the bundle and it does the same. The strangest thing is that it works perfectly if I deploy it using Equinox (mvn package install pax:run -Dframework=felix -Dprofiles=log,config). It seems to be a visibilty issue, but I don't know how to fix it, am I doing something wrong? Should I try to extend WicketServlet to take control on the instantiation of the application? Or maybe using an application Factory? Any light is welcomed.

    If i want to show userLocation on the map, and at the same time record the user's location, is it a good idea to add an observer to userLocation.location and record the locations, OR should i still use CLLocationManager for recording user location and use mapView.showUserLocation to show the user's current location (blue indicator)? I want to show the default blue indicator supported by the MapKit API. There is also no contact with that information on my phone already. Does anyone have any insight into what I might be doing wrong?

  • thesis in LaTeX without memoir

    Hi, I'm preparing a thesis report in LaTeX. I don't want to use the memoir class as I would like total control. I have two questions: My thesis consists of an introduction and then a series of articles pasted one after the other. Thus each article has its own abstract, introduction, etc... and a bibliography at its end. I understand that perhaps a package like multibib can help when we have multiple bibliographies. The idea that I came with is to write each article separately and then use pdfpages to combine the final document. Long time ago dvi files concatenation was popular but with graphics I think that pdfpages is better. I saw that another package exists, named combine which can help with what I am doing. I'm still exploring my options. Any suggestions? If I decide to use a book class instead to make my thesis resemble more into a book-like format which is better, then using the book class format gives me section headings like 0.1 Introduction with the leading 0. This 0 doesn't show in the article class format. How to change this default book class numbering format so that I'll have e.g. 1. Introduction? Thanks a lot...

  • Differing paths for lua script and app

    My problem is that I'm having trouble specifying paths for Lua to look in. For example, in my script I have a require("someScript") line that works perfectly (it is able to use functions from someScript when the script is run standalone. However, when I run my app, the script fails. I believe this is because Lua is looking in a location relative to the application rather than relative to the script. Hardcoding the entire path down to the drive isn't an option since people can download the game wherever they like so the highest I can go is the root folder for the game. We have XML files to load in information on objects. In them, when we specify the script the object uses, we only have to do something like Content\Core\Scripts\someScript.lua where Content is in the same directory as Debug and the app is located inside Debug. If I try putting that (the Content\Core...) in Lua's package.path I get errors when I try to run the script standalone. I'm really stuck, and am not sure how to solve this. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. P.S. When I print out the default package.path in the app I see syntax like ;.\?.lua in a sequence like... ;.\?.lua;c:...(long file path)\Debug\?.lua; I assume the ; means the end of the path, but I have no idea what the .\?.lua means. Any Lua file in the directory?
