  • How do I use jQuery for click event in iPhone web application

    When I use jQuery for a simple click event it only works for links. Is there a way to make it work for spans etc: $("span.clicked").live("click", function(e){alert("span clicked!")}); $("a.clicked").live("click", function(e){alert("link clicked!")}); Example is here: http://ip1n.j-www.com/test/index2.html The SPAN works in Safari but not Mobile Safari (on iPhone or iPad) whereas the A tag works in both.

  • globalize2 with xml/json support

    I'm implementing a distributed application, server with rails and mobile clients in objective c (iPhone). To enable internationalization, I use the rails plugin 'globalize2' by joshmh. However, it turned out that this plugin does not translate attributes when calling to_xml or to_json on an ActiveRecord. Does anyone know of a workaround / patch? Do you have any ideas how to fix this, where to alter globalize2? Using: Rails 2.3.5 globalize2: commit from 2010-01-11

When my application is deployed to the device emulator it can't connect to my computer / db server. Both de emulator as well the mobile device center are configured to use DMA.   • jQuery - Show field based on value of a type-hidden on refresh.

    Hello, I'm trying to create something in jQuery and having a bit of problems with it. I'm not too adept on the framework, so I'm sure this is all wrong. Anyways, the ultimate goal is a full form that contains 3 radio buttons - depending on the value of the button, a LI is shown. I have all of that done, but my problem is coming with validation. If something fails then the page is reloaded and the div that was selected doesn't show without clicking another radio first, then back to the original. This process is basically the same as someone came up with here. Here's what I got so far. It seems as though my validators can stay much the same only they should inherit the System.Web.Http.Validation namespace. What I can't figure out is how to add the provider to Web API. When using MVC I can just add the following to my global.asax: ModelValidatorProviders.Providers.Add(new CustomModelValidatorProvider()); How do I use the custom provider with Web API?

    We have gotten WSO2 governance registry to send e-mails successfully. Now we want to template the emails that are being sent out. There is a sample at : http://docs.wso2.org/wiki/display/Governance450/Notification+E-mail+Customization+Sample This allows you to alter the text coming through the event but is there an easier way that writing Java code? We cannot compile the sample anyway as the Maven compiler keeps looking up the references files and errors with checksum validation failed. Thanks

  • Validating using stripes causes bound values to delete

    I'm using Stripes and I am validating the values of a drop down box to ensure the user selects an option. On initial load all data is present, but once the validation kicks in the form loses the data that was set up in the action bean on load. This includes the original list I am validating against. I'm simply using in the jsp, and annotating the field in the action bean as @Validate(required=true). Am I missing something simple? Cheers

    I'm trying to show one public twitter profile in one WebView of my app, is not necessary to login twitter, in the MotoDev Simulator this works fine, but in the physical device don't work, this: "403 fobiden limite exceed rate" error appears, this is the simple code line that I'm using: webView.loadUrl("https://mobile.twitter.com/#!/asambleaecuador"); and works fine into de MotoDev simulator AVD ....can somebody helpme please!!!
