  • How to regex match a string of alnums and hyphens, but which doesn't begin or end with a hyphen?

    I have some code validating a string of 1 to 32 characters, which may contain only alpha-numerics and hyphens ('-') but may not begin or end with a hyphen. I'm using PCRE regular expressions & PHP (albeit the PHP part is not really important in this case). Right now the pseudo-code looks like this: if (match("/^[\p{L}0-9][\p{L}0-9-]{0,31}$/u", string) and not match("/-$/", string)) print "success!" That is, I'm checking first that the string is of right contents, doesn't being with a '-' and is of the right length, and then I'm running another test to see that it doesn't end with a '-'. Any suggestions on merging this into a single PCRE regular expression? I've tried using look-ahead / look-behind assertions but couldn't get it to work.

The problem is that i used $(document).ready(function() to handle those image changes. When a dump is issued they are listed as follows: Compile Options for PROGXX: ADV, ARITH(COMPAT), AWO, NOCICS, CODEPAGE(01140), DATA(31), NODATEPROC, NODBCS, NODLL, NODYNAM, NOEXPORTALL, NOFASTSRT, INTDATE(LILIAN), NUMPROC(NOPFD), NOOPTIMIZE, OUTDD(SYSOUT), PGMNAME(COMPAT), RENT, RMODE(AN NOSQL, SQLCCSID, SSRANGE, NOTEST, NOTHREAD, TRUNC(OPT), XMLPARSE(XMLSS), YEARWINDOW(1900), ZWB so I presume they must be tucked away somewhere in the load module.     I have a Qt widget which should only accept a hex string as input. It is very simple to restrict the input characters to [0-9A-Fa-f], but I would like to have it display with a delimiter between "bytes" so for example if the delimiter is a space, and the user types 0011223344 I would like the line edit to display 00 11 22 33 44 Now if the user presses the backspace key 3 times, then I want it to display 00 11 22 3. I almost have what i want, so far there is only one subtle bug involving using the delete key to remove a delimiter. Does anyone have a better way to implement this validator? In essence, I would like to have a Validator which conforms to this regex: "[0-9A-Fa-f]( [0-9A-Fa-f])*" but I don't want the user to ever have to type a space as delimiter. Likewise, when editing what they types, the spaces should be managed implicitly.

    I have the following setup on Windows 7 Ultimate x64: Eclipse Indigo 2.7.2 (Build: M20120208-0800) Remote System Explorer 3.3.2 (see screenshot) (Oracle/Sun) Java 1.6 Update 31 (x86) Despite all my best efforts I am unable to connect to a remote system (a Centos 5.6 server on my local LAN) using a Remote System Explorer SSH connection - I've tried both password authentication and using my SSH private key. Here is a screenshot of both the Eclipse error dialogue and what is logged in my /var/log/secure log file: /var/log/secure: Apr 1 12:00:21 nagios sshd[6176]: Received disconnect from 172.16.3.88: 3: com.jcraft.jsch.JSchException: Auth fail When I connect for the first time I do get prompted to verify the authenticity of the remote host and the RSA key fingerprint. But that's as far as things go. Performing the same operation with the same credentials on my Fedora Core 16 box (also running the same version of Eclipse and Java) to the same server is successful. This leads me to believe that RSE SSH support on Windows is either broken or there's some piece of the SSH-on-Windows puzzle I'm missing. Is this the case?

    Hopefully easy answer, but I cannot get it. I have a 3D render engine I have written. I have the camera position, the lookat position and the up vector. I want to be able to "tilt" the camera left, right, up and down. Like a camera on a fixed tripod that you can grab the handle and tilt it it up, down, left right etc. The maths stumps me. I have been able to do forwards/backwards dolly and up/down/left/right panning, but cannot work out the vector math to get it to tilt. For left and right tilt I want to rotate the lookat position around the camera position, but I need to take into account the up vector, otherwise the rotation doesn't know which axis to to turn around. The maths/algorithm I need is along the lines of... Camera=(cx,cy,cz) Lookat=(lx,ly,lz) Up=(ux,uy,uz) RotatePointAroundVector(lx,ly,lz,ux,uy,uz,amount) Can anyone assist with the maths involved?     I am trying to redirect everything to a single page from my /website/folder/ directory. I added a simple .htaccess with this simple code (I know this would require more code in .htaccess but it's just a test). RewriteEngine on RewriteRule .* index.php [NC,L] When I try : http://127.0.0.1:8888/website/folder/fileDoesntExistMustGoIndex I have an "Object not found 404" error and the access.log display: 127.0.0.1 - - [13/Mar/2010:13:48:31 -0500] "GET /website/folder/fileDoesntExistMustGoIndexHTTP/1.1" 404 1118 I have check the httpd.conf and I see nothing that could alter this .htaccess statement. Any idea?

  • Trying to configure HWIC-3G-HSPA

    I'm trying to configure a couple of Cisco 1941 routes. The are both identical routers. Each as a HWIC-1T (Smart Serial interface) and a HWIC-3G-HSPA 3G interface. These routers are to be sent to remote sites. We have connectivity to one of the sites but if remote site A gors down we lose connectivity to remote site B. The HWIC-1T is the primary WAN interface using frame relay joining the two remote sites We want the HWIC-3G-HSPA to be usable for direct connectivity from head office to remote site B, and also the HWIC-3G-HSPA is do be used for comms between the remote sites when the frame relay is down (happens quite a bit). I initialy tried to do dynamic routing using EIGRP however in my lab setup of laptop - 1941 - 1941 - laptop, I was unable to get end to end connectivity. I later settled on static routing and have got end to end connectivity but only over frame relay, not the HWIC-3G-HSPA. I've tried using kron to ping the local HWIC-3G-HSPA interface (cellular 0/1/0) every minute but that hasn't been successful. Manually pinging the IP assigned (by the telco) to ce0/1/0 does bring the interface up. Any ideas? Thanks

    I have the following functions for colorizing my screen messages: def error(string): return '\033[31;1m' + string + '\033[0m' def standout(string): return '\033[34;1m' + string + '\033[0m' I use them as follows: print error('There was a problem with the program') print "This is normal " + standout("and this stands out") I want to log the output to a file (in addition to STDOUT) WITHOUT the ANSI color codes, hopefully without having to add a second "logging" line to each print statement. The reason is that if you simply python program.py > out then the file out will have the ANSI color codes, which look terrible if you open in a plain text editor. Any advice?
