    I need to put curly braces in a sentence according to the indexes. Suppose my input sentence is: "I am a girl and I live in Nepal." and I need to put curly braces according to [12, 15], [2, 4], [23, 25] These indexes are corresponding to the words "am", "and" and "in" respectively. The required output should be: "I {am} a girl {and} I live {in} Nepal." I have tried using substring but after it replaces first word, it then shifts the characters by two indexes and that is the problem I am having. Can anyone provide me solution to get the required output?

  • MPMoviePlayerController iPhone 3G & .mov file format

    Just posting a question to the world... My app is currently setup to play video files. The app is setup to play .mov files and when tested on a 3GS, iPhone 4, and an iPad, it works great. But when playing on an iPhone 3G, the file does not play. Is this based on different compression standards that the 3G can't handle? I liked the .mov extension as it was compressed nicely to stream to the device. I have now converted the video files to .m4v so it will play on the 3G, but the file is now 3 times the size. Thanks in advance for any answers I get!!

    I have this really bizarre issue where I have a forloop that is supposed to replace all divs with the class of "original" to text inputs with a class of "new". When I run the loop, it only replaces every-other div with an input, but if I run the loop to just replace the class of the div and not change the tag to input, it does every single div, and doesn't only do every-other.     I have UITableView. I customized the cell height (increased). I have 4 labels(UILabel) and 1 image(UIImage) and 3 buttons (UIButton). one of the button is delete button. By touching the cell or button(play button) on the image a video is loaded and played. I need to delete the cell by touching delete button. If I touched the delete button the corresponding video is deleted from library . But, how to delete the cell and all remaining data in it ? I am not able to delete the cells or the data in the cells.     I'm trying to build a data install script that I use to setup a new webstore. This script creates the categories, pages and static blocks and default settings for the specific shop (we use a multistore setup to host the shops). In our dev/staging setup this scripts runs great and all categories are build without any problem. But on our live system this script fails. After some debugging I found the difference is in the Flat catalog usage on the live systems. The problem with creating the category with the flat tables enabled is in getting the parent path information based on the parentId given: $parentCategory = Mage::getModel('catalog/category')->load($parentId); Without flat categories enabled this gives a correct parentCategory, but with flat categories enabled it gives an empty object. Why is this behaviour with flat categories enabled?

  • T-SQL - Is there a (free) way to compare data in two tables?

    Okay so i have table a and table b. (SQL Server 2008) Both tables have the exact same schema. For the purposes of this question, consider table a = my local dev table, table b = the live table. I need to create a SQL script (containing UPDATE/DELETE/INSERT statements) that will update table b to be the same as table a. This script will then be deployed to the live database. Any free tools out there that can do this, or better yet a way i can do it myself? I'm thinking i probably need to do some type of a join on all the fields in the tables, then generate dynamic sql based on that. Anyone have any ideas?

I have this working as I want if each video has one tag: SELECT tag_1, flv, COUNT(tag_1) AS tagcount FROM videos WHERE NOT tag_1='' GROUP BY tag_1 ORDER BY tagcount DESC LIMIT 0, 10 However in my database, each video is allowed three tags - tag_1, tag_2 and tag_3. Is there a way to get the most popular tags reading from multiple columns?   • Django: Site-Wide URL Prefix

    I've built a Django site that will live at the root when it's live. Right now it's functioning perfectly at the IP address. For testing purposes, the client has pointed a proxy url at it, but the url has /folder/path in it, so none of the URL patterns match. I put (/folder/path)? into all the url patterns so they now respond, but all of the links are broken because I'm using the {% url %} tag and while the url patterns will match the optional path, they don't include it in that tag. Clearly I can just hard-code /folder/path into all of my urls (well, into all of the url includes) until testing is complete, but is there a better way to do this?

  • Hiding part of a page from Search Server 2010 Express

    I'm working on a soon-to-be-public-facing site, and we want to have our search live on day 1, and want it to be searchable but non-public during testing, so we're planning to use something whose crawling we can control -- Search Server 2010 Express. However, if I search for something in my top navigation bar, I get nearly every page as a hit. It kinda makes sense, as every page has that content, but it's completely irrelevant on most pages. I want it to crawl through my navigation, but ignore the text within the navigation for search results. I was hoping that it'd just figure that out on it's own (the HTML for the top nav is static), but it's apparently not. Is there some standard thing I can put in my HTML that will achieve the effect I'm going for? On a side note: when I go live, will I have the same problem with public search engines, or do they tend to be smarter?

    I am implementing a simple eye tracker, which requires fast screenshoting of what is happening on the screen simultaneously with capturing the video from webcam. The thing is that the way of doing it with Robot, mentioned here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2475303/java-library-for-capturing-active-window-screenshot is extremely slow. By the way, retrieving the video from a webcam works much faster and returns the byte array, which is very fast to be processed. Does anybody know a faster solution? C++ libraries, which can be linked to Java for doing this may help as well. Thank you!

    My question is simple, I have two databases with the same scehema, one is live database say DLive and other one is testbed say DTestBed.... However, I want to use the same database namespace for both database. How can I achieve that without changing namespace in my code all over? Sometimes you need to do builds for live and testbeds in the same day ! Its really hard to change big project namespaces everytime you build.     Ok Ive figured out how to do a screen capture of my desktop using Windows Media Encoder 9 + SDK and saving it as a movie on my hardrive. But now I want to take my project further and stream a realtime screen capture of my desktop . The idea is that users accessing my asp.net website will be able to view whatever Im doing on my desktop in real time via the video streaming from my computer. I really dont need the source code just the best strategy, procedure and server requirements.How will users access the streaming video on my website? Will it work on my godaddy shared hosting account or at what point will I need an upgrade? Will I be saving the stream to a file on the server for users to access or is there a way to stream directly ? I just need someone to point me in the right direction...

I need to write a query to get a count of the people in the arraylist for certain sections i.e. There is a field "City" in my database from the people in the arraylist of names I want to know how many of them live in Chicago, how many live in New York etc. Can someone help me how I might set up an sql statement to handle this.     Hi, I am building an app that plays multiple video files, But I would like to know How do you download a video file (100mb - 300mb) from a server into the application's documents so it can later be locally referred to in code? The reason I want this type of a set up in my app is that I don't want the app binary to be made unnecessarily large due to including videos some users may not want. Also does this violate any of apple's terms? Also would it be simple to implement a progress view with this kind of set up and if so how? Any help is appreciated.

    Hi folks, I'm wanting to make some yee-run-o-the-mill tutorial video's about some programming concepts and stuff i've been doing. Nothing special ... lots of peeps been doing it. What tools are people using to record and edit these videos? What resolutions / fonts / sizes do people generally use/set? The only tool I've had experience with is Camtasia - and i didn't mind it. But i've seen vid's (or live demo's) where people zoom in to code sections.. how do they do that? For final editing, do most people just do some simple power point presentation with some video snippets mashed in. cheers!

    Hello, I'm playing audio from a Online Live RTPS Stream with ffmpeg(because Apple doesn't support rtsp live streaming). Now I would play my Stream in the background. I started a thread in the background and registered the music for Background support. When the Application is entering in Background the NSThread is paused, and then Resuming after returning from background. If I start playing a Music (MP3-Stream) in the Application which use official Apple Frameworks then when the App is entering Background both Streams are played. What can I do to fix this?

    There are obvious counterparts for some of file systems' basic operations (eg. ls and rm), but how would you implement not straightforwardly RESTful actions such as cp or mv? As answers to the question REST services - exposing non-data “actions” suggest, the preferred way of implementing cp would include GETting the resource, DELETing it and PUTting it back again with a new name. But what if I would need to do it efficiently? For instance, if the resource's size would be huge? How would I eliminate the superfluous transmission of resource's payload to client and back to the originating server? Here is an illustration. I have a resource: /videos/my_videos/2-gigabyte-video.avi and I want copy it into a new resource: /videos/johns_videos/copied-2-gigabyte-video.avi How would I implement the copy, move or other file system actions the RESTful way? Or is there even a proper way? Am I doing it all wrong?
