    Hi, Once I connect my iPhone to my computer, is there anyway I can look at the directory structure on the phone? Would it work like a USB device for example and let me copy files without using iTunes but just drag and drop through the Finder on a Mac? Thanks, Tee

    I've just been handed a pile of Java source that, I suspect, is in ISO-8859-8. Eclipse's menu of charsets, here on my Mac, does not include that. Or any of a wide variety of other encodings supported by the JDK. Is there a recipe for expanding the list of encodings that show up in the menu?

    Hi, I need to know how to detect the position of a dragged item as opposed to other divs. I need to detect whether an item is dropped outside of two different divs. (I am building a mac dock type start page and I need to know how to do this so I can delete icons by dragging them off the bar.)     I usually run Fiddler for net traffic monitoring and now am using a Mac machine. I thought Firebug's net tab can show the traffic that is fetched through AJAX (the net tab is enabled). But if I try google.com, and type in something, its "google suggest" will show a bunch of suggestions, but the Firebug's "net" tab is not showing anything?

    Hello, I made a Java application which I would like to distribute on Windows, OSX and Linux without distributing a jar file. I used the great Windows exe wrapper http://launch4j.sourceforge.net/ to create an .exe file complete with my icon that won't scare Windows users. Are there similar wrappers that I can use for OSX/Unix? An important consideration is that I would like to have my own icon on the executable (especially for mac users). Thanks!

    I've got the following class: class SelectDateDialog(QDialog): startDate = date.today() endDate = date.today() def __init__(self, text, isInterval = False): QDialog.__init__(self) uic.loadUi("resources/SelectDate.ui", self) Now, the dialog is resizable on Mac OS X 10.5, but it shouldn't be. It has the resize-handle in the lower right corner. I've already tried the setSizeGripEnabled function, it didn't change anything. How can I make it not resizable?

  • PR_USER_X509_CERTIFICATE extra data

    Hi, I am trying to import an outlook PST file to my application running on Mac OS X. The PST file consists of contacts created in Outlook. The contacts have X509 certificates added to them. The problem I am facing is ASN decoding of the certificate fails. I have read somewhere that there is extra data before and after the certificate referred by PR_USER_X509_CERTIFICATE in the PST file. When a user presses a button on the app, I want it to add a certain directory to the environmental $PATH variable on the Mac. When an user types some name in it and a match is found then a list appears carrying user icon , status icon and his/her name. Also the width of dynamic list is same as beak window. For example, in my python script I'm just trying to use os.chdir("/Users/aaron/Desktop/testdir/") But would like to use os.chdir("~/Desktop/testdir/") I'm getting a no such file or directory error when trying to run this. Any ideas?

Unfortunately my Request.Browser.Platform, along with a few other things is returning "Unknown" on both my iPad Mac OSX (Snow Leopard) and on Windows7 Does anyone know of a good advanced .browser file out there that does the same thing for non mobile devices as the MDBF does for mobile devices?
