• Define 2D array with loops in php

  I have an array $rows where each element is a row of 15 tab-delimited values. I want to explode $rows into a 2D array $rowData where each row is an array element and each tab-delimited value is assigned to a different array element. I've tried these two methods without success. I know the first one has a coding error but I do not know how to correct it.   I'm using two plugins on my wordpress site: Auto post youtube Pulls a youtube video then drafts it for me. I use this on my index page beside the post code and the thumbnail appears great: <?php tern_wp_youtube_image(); ?> Top Ten Which I use to display the most viewed posts on a page. Not looking great at the moment, but will fix styling later. • Selenium selected option in dropdown not displayed correctly

  I have the following issue with Selenium Webdriver. There are two dropdown menus on a page i am testing "brand" and "items". The options of "items" depend on which brand you choose. I am trying to iterate through all possible choices and print brand-item pairs. I use two possible ways to pick an option from each dropdown menu Using Select(): def retryingSelectOption(name,n): result=False attempts=0 while attempts<5: try: element=Select(driver.find_element_by_name(name)) element.select_by_index(n) print element.all_selected_options[0].text result=True break except StaleElementReferenceException: pass attempts+=1 return result And using .click(): def retryingClickOption(name,n): result=False attempts=0 while attempts<5: try: driver.find_element_by_name(name).find_elements_by_tag_name("option")[n].click() result=True break except StaleElementReferenceException: pass attempts+=1 return result My problem is that at ,what seem to me as random moments (sometimes it works sometimes it does not), even though the above functions return True and printing out the selected option shows me the correct answer, the browser still displays the previous option. So basically Selenium tells me i have picked the right option but the browser displays the previous one.No idea what is wrong.

  I was contemplating writing a UI toolkit where setting the position and size of an element/widget was intuitive and powerful. • How to dynamically add a Javascript function (and invoke)

  Based on a click event on the page, via ajax I fetch a block of html and script, I am able to take the script element and append it to the head element, however WebKit based browsers are not treating it as script (ie. I cannot invoke a function declared in the appended script). Using the Chrome Developer Tools I can see that my script node is indeed there, but it shows up differently then a script block that is not added dynamically, a non-dynamic script has a text child element and I cannot figure out a way to duplicate this for the dynamic script. Any ideas or better ways to be doing this? The driving force is there is potentially a lot of html and script that would never be needed unless a user clicks on a particular tab, in which case the relevant content (and script) would be loaded.   When I listen to a YouTube video fullscreen in landscape on my Galaxy Nexus, the navigation bar on the right disapear after a few seconds (the bar which contains the "back", "home" and "recent apps" buttons ). I want to do the same thing when a user watch a video in my app. What is the code to hide the navigation bar? [UPDATE] Here is the bar I want to hide. Not the title bar, nor the action bar. The navigation bar. (the bar which contains the "back", "home" and "recent apps" buttons ). I also don't want to "dim" the buttons. I'm looking into removing the bar entirely (like the YouTube app does when you plan a video fullscreen in landscape mode)

• Checking for duplicates with nested forms

  I'm making a rails 3.2.9 app that allows users to create pages and they can embed youtube videos through a nested form. I'm trying to figure out how to make it so that I can prevent duplicate video records from being stored in my db. So I have a Video model that takes the youtube url and just parses out the video id and stores that instead of the full user submitted youtube url, which may have extraneous url query parameters. So here's the situation that I'm trying to figure out: There's page1 with video1 - url: 123 and video2 - url: abc Then another user creates page2 and submits video3 - url: def and video4 - url: 123 Currently each page has_many videos. But I think I should change it to a many-to-many relationship. But how would I make it so that the url submitted as video4 in the nested form points to video1? Also I how would I make a nested form that creates objects that are connected through a join table?

  I have an arrow on my site that I'd like if onclick, it hides one element, and shows another. Hitting it again, will hide the element that was shown and show the element that was hidden. Is that possible to do without jQuery? For example, I have <div id="arrow"><a href="#">?</a></div> <div id="ad"></div> <div id="description">Hidden</div> <div id="nav">Also Hidden</div> So at first, the ad is showing, and then one you've clicked the arrow, I'd like the ad to hide, and then unhide the description and nav.

• MySQL: Order by time (MM:SS)?

  I'm currently storing various metadata about videos and one of those bits of data is the length of a video. So if a video is 10 minutes 35 seconds long, it's saved as "10:35" in the database. But what I'd like to do is retrieve a listing of videos by length (longest first, shortest last). The problem I'm having is that if a video is "2:56", it's coming up as longest because the number 2 is more than the number 1 in. So, how can I order data based on that length field so that "10:35" is recognized as being longer than "2:56" (as per my example)?

  I have a sorted std::vector of relative small size ( from 5 to 20 elements ). I used std::vector since the data is continuous so I have speed because of cache. On a specific point I need to remove an element from this vector. I have now a doubt: which is the fastest way to remove this value between the 2 options below? setting that element to 0 and call sort to reorder: this has complexity but elements are on the same cache line. call erase that will copy ( or memcpy who knows?? ) all elements after it of 1 place ( I need to investigate the behind scense of erase ). Do you know which one is faster? I think that the same approach could be thought about inserting a new element without hitting the max capacity of the vector. Regards AFG

• jQuery - Drag of elements in areas - then not draggable any more

  Hello! I have three div areas. Creating an element, which is draggable() with jQuery UI, I can drag it all over the screen. Dropping it in a special area, then I can not drag it any more. I created a full working demo: http://jsbin.com/enusu4/2/ There you can create a draggable element which is placed into the left green area. Dragging it to the middle or right green area, I can not drag the element. I increment the zIndex of the elements, but it does not work. Does anyone can help me, what's wrong? Best Regards.

  Hi, My c++ program needs to maintain 2 list of objects. list inuse; list free; So objects A can even in 'inuse' list or in 'free' list, but not both. http://www.cplusplus.com/reference/stl/list/ I am think of using 'list' as the data structure for my lists. My questions are 1. why i can't randomly access an elmenet in the list, I look at the above api, I don't see a way to get inuse[2]; 2. How can I remove an element in the list? There is an erase(), but how can I use it to remove element #2? And after I remove element 2? will STL list fill the erased spot automatically? e.g. #3 will become #2, #4 will become #3 and so on? There are siblings next to this document.getElementById("row_1"); element for sure as I can see them, and they all have id attributes, so why is it not getting the id attributes of the siblings?? I don't get it. row_1 is a TR element, and I need to get the TR elements next to it within this table, but for some reason, it only gets the 1 element that I can already get using document.getElementById, arggg. • Can JQuery/JavaScript be used to write a substantial client side application?

  I have an unusual situation - I have an embedded video streaming device with a complicated UI, and I need to use an embedded web server to reproduce that UI through a web browser. I'm thinking of using JavaScript/JQuery on a C++ backend (I am NOT coding all this myself, I need to hire people for the grunt work). The embedded web server is much less powerful than a PC, so I want to write an application that runs the entire UI in the browser, and only communicates with the server to pass new program settings back and forth, get status updates from the device, and control video playback. In other words, the client gets one big page or a small number of big pages (effectively downloading the application), the application maintains significant local memory storage, and once the pages are first loaded the server never sends anything layout-related. The application has two rows of tabs to navigate ~40 menu pages, drag-and-select controls to pick cells in a grid, sorted lists, lots of standard data entry options, and it should be able to control up to 16 embedded video players at once (preferably VLC). Is this possible in JavaScript/JQuery with a C++ backend?

• FLV Player Skin Custom URL

  I have a flash banner ad (AS3) which uses a FLV Player component for a remove video. The Skin exports it's own SWF file for user with the video controls as I'm sure anyone familiar with Flash knows. Is there anyway to specify where this file is remotely? I have to provide 1 file to my advertiser, and do not want to have to create custom video controls for this. Is it possible to upload this swf file to a remote location and tell Flash to pull it from there? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  hi, I've some objects on the canvas, and I added eventListeners to these objects for MOUSE_UP event. I'm know checking if it works by tracing e.target.name, and I found out that the event is triggered twice, before on the element container (Canvas) and then the element itself. • Changing a Widget's name based on a string read in from an XML form in Qt.

  I'm writing a code for a voting machine that will allow user to read in custom XML ballots and then vote on them, however in the current build I have in QtCreator, I don't see an easy way to edit buttons in my GUI directly. In the code snippet below, I assign an element to pull out the names and type of ballot being read in, but I need to append a label on the GUI as well as change buttons to the names of candidates read in.
