    I'm having trouble making my wireless connection work, and I realized I don't really know how to use the tools I have, in this case, the iwconfig command in Ubuntu-9.04. Here is what I get: ***iwconfig*** - lo no wireless extensions. eth0 no wireless extensions. wmaster0 no wireless extensions. wlan0 IEEE 802.11bgn ESSID:"Network" Mode:Managed Frequency:2.412 GHz Access Point: Not-Associated Tx-Power=20 dBm Retry min limit:7 RTS thr:off Fragment thr=2352 B Power Management:off Link Quality:0 Signal level:0 Noise level:0 Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0 Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon:0 vboxnet0 no wireless extensions. pan0 no wireless extensions. "Network" is the name of my wireless network, btw. But what does this all mean? How can this information help me aquire a working wireless connection? When I try associating a key using sudo iwconfig wlan0 key s:my_key I get the following error message: Error for wireless request "Set Encode" (8B2A) : SET failed on device wlan0 ; Invalid argument. I do have the right key though, so what's the problem?

    Hello, I am following these steps in order to build Awesome window manager on 10.04 I am building 3.4 while the tutorial is for 3.1 I installed all of the specified dependencies including cairo.   • Updating nested attributes causes duplicate entries

    I have a has_many and belongs_to relationship between Job and Address. When I try to update Job and Address in the same form, it updates job but creates a duplicate entry for Address. Am I missing something here?     I found one issue with InternalsVisibleTo attribute usage. The idea of InternalsVisibleTo attribute to allow some other assemblies to use internal classes\methods of this assembly. To make it work you need sign your assemblies. So, if other assemblies isn't specified in main assembly and if they have incorrect public key, then they can't use Internal members. But the issue in Reflection Emit type generation. For example, we have CorpLibrary1 assembly and it has such class: public class TestApi { internal virtual void DoSomething() { Console.WriteLine("Base DoSomething"); } public void DoApiTest() { // some internal logic // ... // call internal method DoSomething(); } } This assembly is marked with such attribute to allow another CorpLibrary2 to make inheritor for that TestAPI and override behaviour of DoSomething method. I know that we use Reflection to get private\internal members of any class, but within reflection we can't override them. But this issue is allows anyone to override internal class\method if that assembly has InternalsVisibleTo attribute. I tested it on .Net 3.5\4 and it works for both of them. How does it possible to just copy PublicKey without private key and use it in runtime?     I am styling a scrollbar in a resourceDictionary without giving it a key value: <Style TargetType="{x:Type ScrollBar}"> ... </Style> Bur for some reason only a component of the type Scrollbar are affected by the style. Not the ListView component's scrollbar! I would Think that all scrollbars would have the same style since I am not using any key value in the style definition! Any ideas?

    In SDK 1.5 I was using the PackageManager class to set the preferred home screen to be my app using PackageManager.addPackageToPreferred(). In the new SDK (using 2.1) this has been deprecated so I'm trying to use addPreferredActivity() for the same result but it's not working as expected. Some necessary background. I'm writing a lock screen replacement app so I want the home key to launch my app (which will already be running, hence having the effect of disabling the key). When the user "unlocks" the screen I intend to restore the mapping so everything works as normal.     Our app runs in jvm 32 bit, even when in windows x64. Now, at some point, I need to access some registry values, for example HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/mycomp. I do this by executing cmd /C reg query HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\mycop from Runtime.exec() and parsing the output. This works fine when running on windows 32b, the problem is when on x64, I cannot find the key, as the shell I run is a 32 bit process, and due to Registry Redirection I would get the key if it was on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/wow6432Node/mycop Any idea?
