Selecting unique records in XSLT/XPath

I have to select only unique records from an XML document, in the context of an <xsl:for-each> loop. If two item elements have the same values for all three child elements, they are duplicates. In the above XML, items one and two are duplicates. The rest are unique. As indicated above, each item contains other elements that we do not wish to include in the comparison. 'Uniqueness' should be a factor of those three elements, and those alone. I have attempted to accomplish this through the following: availList/item[not(schDate = preceding:: schDate and schFrmTime = preceding:: schFrmTime and schToTime = preceding:: schToTime)] The idea behind this is to select records where there is no preceding element with the same schDate, schFrmTime and schToTime. However, its output is missing the last item. This is because my XPath is actually excluding items where all of the child element values are matched within the entire preceding document. No single item matches all of the last item's child elements - but because each element's value is individually present in another item, the last item gets excluded. I could get the correct result by comparing all child values as a concatenated string to the same concatenated values for each preceding item. Does anybody know of a way I could do this?

I recently decided to switch from Eclipse to Android Studio. I imported a project I was working on and am now getting this error when I try to run the project. Gradle: Execution failed for task ':project:dexDebug'. > Could not call IncrementalTask.taskAction() on task ':project:dexDebug' I've been cruising this site for 2 days now and trying different suggestions to no avail. I have both Rails 2.3.4 and Rails 3.0.0.beta installed on my local machine. I am using ActiveRecord in a stand alone ruby script and when I do require 'active_record' 3.0.0.beta is loaded. How can I force it to require 2.3.4 instead? (without uninstalling 3.0.0.beta)

ASP MVC.Net 3 RC2 bug ?

Hello, so far I've been using ASP.Net 3 BETA. Everything was working fine till the update to RC2 version. Of course I've read ScottGu's article about RC2. My problem is following. Basically I have 2 controllers: public class DynamicPageController : Controller { public ActionResult Redirect(string resource, int? pageNumber, int? id) { } } public class SystemController : Controller { public ActionResult Index() { } } In the Globals.asax I have routes like this: public static void RegisterRoutes(RouteCollection routes) { routes.MapRoute( "SystemRoute", "System/{action}", new { controller = "System", action = "Index" } ); routes.MapRoute( "PageRoute", "{resource}/{id}/{pageNumber}", new { controller = "DynamicPage", action = "Redirect", resource = UrlParameter.Optional, pageNumber = UrlParameter.Optional, id = UrlParameter.Optional } ); } In the code, I have simple link creation: System.Web.Mvc.UrlHelper u = new System.Web.Mvc.UrlHelper(context); string url = u.Action("Index", "System"); and the url is "/my_app/System" in both versions (BETA and RC2) But the code below (the syntax is the same as above, only controller and action names are different): string url = u.Action("Redirect", "DynamicPage", new RouteValueDictionary(new { resource = "Home" })); gives url which is null in RC2. It should be (and in fact in BETA was) "/my_app/Home" Why ? Is it a bug ? How can I create url for my "DynamicPage" controller ? Regards BTW: From where can I now download ASP.Mvc BETA version along with ASP.Net Web Pages 1.0 installers ? Since RC2 announcement I have problems finding mentioned 2 installers. Normally I would upgrade my code but this issue described above makes me stay with BETA for a while, since I have no time for migration and testing everything now.

Nothing else happens. My phone is iPhone.

Test iPhone in-app purchases on a different bundle?

We have a group of beta testers for iPhone app. Recently, we added in-app purchases to the app. Before this, we would send out ad hoc builds to beta testers using a separate bundle ID and name so that they could have the store build and the ad hoc build on their phones. However, it seems like we have to build the ad hoc copy with the same Bundle ID to test in-app purchases, and this means we can't send out a seperate beta copy - our beta file (annoyingly) overwrites the user's store-bought app. Is there any way to test in-app purchases in a different bundle ID? Do I need to set up fake, test in-app purchases for the test build too?

Xcode "Build and Archive" from command line

Xcode 3.2 provides an awesome new feature under the Build menu, "Build and Archive" which generates an .ipa file suitable for Ad Hoc distribution. You can also open the Organizer, go to "Archived Applications," and "Submit Application to iTunesConnect." Is there a way to use "Build and Archive" from the command line (as part of a build script)? I'd assume that xcodebuild would be involved somehow, but the man page doesn't seem to say anything about this. UPDATE Michael Grinich requested clarification; here's what exactly you can't do with command-line builds, features you can ONLY do with Xcode's Organizer after you "Build and Archive." You can click "Share Application..." to share your IPA with beta testers. As Guillaume points out below, due to some Xcode magic, this IPA file does not require a separately distributed .mobileprovision file that beta testers need to install; that's magical. No command-line script can do it. For example, Arrix's script (submitted May 1) does not meet that requirement. More importantly, after you've beta tested a build, you can click "Submit Application to iTunes Connect" to submit that EXACT same build to Apple, the very binary you tested, without rebuilding it. That's impossible from the command line, because signing the app is part of the build process; you can sign bits for Ad Hoc beta testing OR you can sign them for submission to the App Store, but not both. No IPA built on the command-line can be beta tested on phones and then submitted directly to Apple. I'd love for someone to come along and prove me wrong: both of these features work great in the Xcode GUI and cannot be replicated from the command line.

For that you have to include 5 jars to your android application: guava-r09.jar google-http-client-extensions-android2-1.6.0-beta.jar google-api-client-extensions-android2-1.6.0-beta.jar google-http-client-1.6.0-beta.jar google-api-client-1.6.0-beta.jar and digging into google-api-java-client javadocs for fast-changing api. Does it worth the effort? in term of android specifics and device fragmentation? Isn't it reasonable to write your own simple http response parser or take small existing library like google-spreadsheet-lib-android ? Thanks! UPD: choosed google-api-java-client finally as it has all routine stuff (like parsing http, xml) out of box

Introductory note : I voluntarily chose a wide subject. You know that quote about learning a cat to fish, that's it. I don't need an answer to my question, I need an explanation and advice. I know you guys are good at this ;) Hi guys, I'm currently implementing some algorithms into an existing program. Long story short, I created a new class, "Adder". An Adder is a member of another class representing the physical object actually doing the calculus , which calls adder.calc() with its parameters (merely a list of objects to do the maths on). To do these maths, I need some parameters, which do not exist outside of the class (but can be set, see below). They're neither config parameters nor members of other classes. These parameters are D1 and D2, distances, and three arrays of fixed size : alpha, beta, delta. I know some of you are more comfortable reading code than reading text so here you go : class Adder { public: Adder(); virtual Adder::~Adder(); void set( float d1, float d2 ); void set( float d1, float d2, int alpha[N_MAX], int beta[N_MAX], int delta[N_MAX] ); // Snipped prototypes float calc( List& ... ); // ... inline float get_d1() { return d1_ ;}; inline float get_d2() { return d2_ ;}; private: float d1_; float d2_; int alpha_[N_MAX]; // A #define N_MAX is done elsewhere int beta_[N_MAX]; int delta_[N_MAX]; }; Since this object is used as a member of another class, it is declared in a *.h : private: Adder adder_; By doing that, I couldn't initialize the arrays (alpha/beta/delta) directly in the constructor ( int T[3] = { 1, 2, 3 }; ), without having to iterate throughout the three arrays. I thought of putting them in static const, but I don't think that's the proper way of solving such problems. I have a strange issue with IIS 7. Sometimes it seems to return a 304 instead of a 200. Hi, i have set up backup schedule on our server. SQL Server 2008 to 01:00am on windows server 2008 R2 to 4:00am. Sql backup runs well, but system backup ends sometimes with error. How should I fix problems with file permissions while restoring from Time Machine?

While restoring files from a Time Machine backup, I got the error message "The operation can’t be completed because you don’t have permission to access some of the items." because of problems with files in one folder. What's the safest way to deal with this? Trying to install ffmpeg-php and having installation issues.

I've installed ffmpeg successfully using the ffmpeginstaller 3 series (http://www.ffmpeginstaller.com/download). ffmpeg is working fine without any known issues with bash. The ffmpeginstaller is meant to install ffmpeg-php but it cannot be found and I receive an error when I execute php -v PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/lib64/php/modules/ffmpeg.so' - /usr/lib64/php/modules/ffmpeg.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0 Looking at the '/usr/lib64/php/modules/' folder, it doesn't contain the ffmpeg.so file. I've tried to install ffmpeg-php manually but I receive the following error checking for ffmpeg headers... configure: error: ffmpeg headers not found. Make sure you've built ffmpeg as shared libs using the --enable-shared option Should I install ffmpeg with series 4 or 5 of ffmpeginstaller or does someone know how to fix this issue? Apache Virtual host not recognized

I've been using one server, then I reinstalled everything on another server, and the mod_jk stopped working. Here is the situation: apache 2.0 sitting "in front" mod_jk used to connect to the apache to tomcat tomcat 6.0.26 used to server the actual requests I followed this tutorial. The result is: accessing http://mysite.com opens the index.html in /var/www/ accessing http://mysite.com:8080/ works OK the logs at /var/logs/apache2 show everything is OK: [Mon Mar 29 22:01:53.310 2010] [28349:3075389184] [info] init_jk::mod_jk.c (2830): mod_jk/1.2.26 initialized [Mon Mar 29 22:01:53 2010] [warn] No JkShmFile defined in httpd.conf. Using default /var/log/apache2/jk-runtime-status [Mon Mar 29 22:01:53 2010] [notice] Apache/2.2.9 (Debian) mod_jk/1.2.26 configured -- resuming normal operations I compared the server.xml, jk.conf, sites-enabled/mysite from the new server to those from the old one and they are identical. The domain name is the same (I updated the DNS record today, and it has refreshed successfully) So the question is, what can go wrong? Is there another place where problems would be logged, if such occur? Update What I can be almost certain of is that the virtual host is not recognized. It is always forwarded to the default virtual host. So, how to make sure the virtual host is recognized and working?

When gaming computer freezes with a blank screen and a buzzing sound

I have a problem with random freezes when playing games. Sometimes it's fine for hours, other times it dosn't last even one. I tried googling around and I found recomendations to update my graphics drivers and to test for overheating. The graphics drivers haven't helped worked and Furmark created a consistant heat higher than I get during a crash. I even tried running a game using the Linux dual boot and WINE, that crashed too. Here are the tempreture logs leading up to the latest crash. The GPU dosn't hit 80, and I've hit 90 with no crash on firmark. Duplicity on a ReadyNAS

Has anyone here run Duplicity on a ReadyNAS? I'm trying but here's what I get: duplicity full --encrypt-key="ABC123" /home/jason/ scp://[email protected]//gob Invalid SSH password Running 'sftp -oServerAliveInterval=15 -oServerAliveCountMax=2 [email protected]' failed (attempt #1) I've also found this post that says the "Invalid SSH password" message doesn't actually mean invalid SSH password. This would make sense because I'm not using an SSH password; I'm using a public key. I can ssh, ftp, sftp and rsync into my ReadyNAS just fine. (Actually, to be more accurate, I can get past authentication with ssh, ftp and sftp but I can't actually do anything past that. Regardless, that's enough to tell me that "Invalid SSH password" is bogus. Rsync works with no problems.) The post I found says the command will work as soon as the directory at the end of your scp command exists, but I don't know how to check for that. I know the share gob exists on my ReadyNAS and I know it's writable because I'm writing to it with rsync.
