    I'm a newbie with SQL... Now I want to do display some instances of AddrDistances from DevExpress CxGrid with SQL. Select Cast((DistanceAsMeters * 0.001) as Decimal(8,1)) DistanceAsKm, bold_id, created, fromAddress, toAddress From AddrDistance Where DistanceAsMeters = 0 and PseudoDistanceAsCostKm = 0 and not AddrDistance.bold_id in (select bold_id from DistanceQueryTask) Order By Created Desc This SQL is working and the result is: DistanceAsKM Bold_ID Created FromAddress ToAddress 0 134808 16.02.2010 121795 134570 0 121701 10.03.2010 120850 122991 The result I want is this: DistanceAsKM Bold_ID Created FromAddress ToAddress 0 134808 16.02.2010 Kalmar Stockholm 0 121701 10.03.2010 Falkenberg Oslo So the amount of rows is right but I want to replace the numbers in FromAddress and ToAddress with strings from another table. The numbers shows here is just the boldid. Every object in the database have an unique boldid. The addresses above is stored in table Address and it have a City field with the column and a boldid as a key. What should I write in SQL to get this right ? Is there something in the CxGrid that could help here ? Regards

    hi to all I have two tables employee and timecard, employee table has fields employee_id,firstname,middlename,lastname and timecard table has fields employee_id,time-in,time-out,tc_date_transaction. I want to select all employee records which have the same employee_id with timecard and date is equal with the current date. If there are no records equal with the current date then return also the records of employee even without time-in,timeout and tc_date_transaction. I wrote an request, but I don't know if it could be written more efficiently.   • JTextField that has inner fields or preformated format, something like the ip field in windows

    Hello guys, i want to create a text field that will be for date and will have dd.mm.YYYY format. Now what i want to do is the user to type only the numbers, not the dots to. So the field would be like: _ _. _ _ . _ _ _ _ So when the user wants to type the date: 15.05.2010 for example, he will only type the numbers in the sequence 15052010. Also i would like, when he preses on left or right arrow, the cursor to go from one field(not JTextField, but field in the JTextField). So lets say i have JTextField with text in it: 15.05.2010, so if user is on the beginning and he preses right arrow, the cursor to go to the .05 field. I hope you understand me 'cos right now i don't any idea how to make this, or at least how to look for it on google. Thank you.

    Hi, I was wondering if anyone might be able to explain to me why it's taking nearly 30 seconds each time my Java web app sends an email using Gmail's SMTP server? See the following timestamps: 13/04/2010-22:24:27:281 DEBUG test.service.impl.SynchronousEmailService - Before sending mail. 13/04/2010-22:24:52:625 DEBUG test.service.impl.SynchronousEmailService - After sending mail. I'm using spring's JavaMailSender class with the following settings: email.host=smtp.gmail.com [email protected] email.password=mypassword email.port=465 mail.smtp.auth.required=true Note that the mail is getting sent and I'm receiving it fine, there's just this delay which is resulting in a slow experience for the application user. If you know how I can diagnose the problem myself that would be good too :)

    We've been using Seagate Info Desktop 7.5 for a while and it stopped working after 31 Dec 2010. After a lot searching on the web, we found out from the SAP threads that a particular dll file(ciweb.dll) had this line of code "expires= Friday,31-Dec-2010 00:00:00 GMT",and this was causing the problem. The solution to the problem was to hexedit this dll file by changing the date to a later date. I have got no experience in hex editing a file. Would some please advise me with steps to do it?   • Weird compatibility problem with .Net 3.5 and 4.0 assemblies (NATUPnPLib)

    I'm having trouble getting NATUPnP 1.0 Type Library to work with Framework 3.5 in Visual Studio 2010. If I use .Net 4.0, it works just fine, but with .Net 3.5, NATUPNPLib's namespace looks excactly like NETCONLib's. For example this Port Forwarding Management Application sample from this site: http://pietschsoft.com/post/2009/02/05/NET-Framework-Communicate-through-NAT-Router-via-UPnP.aspx ..is using .Net 3.5, but I can't get it to compile in Visual Studio 2010 unless I change it to .Net 4.0. I haven't tried, but I bet in Visual Studio 2008 there would be no problems.

    Hi guys, I'm using ASP.NET MVC 1.0 and I try to create a personal blog! I have a problem with an url that it has to show all post wrote in a specific year and specific month. My url is look like(http://localhost:2282/Blog/Archive/2010/5). So... it work correctly, infact it show all record that have year=2010 and month=5 but my problem is that when I use this url, images in total my site are no longer loading. I have this problem only with this url's type.     My application keeps all Java Date's in UTC. Parsing them is easy, but when I print them out, the display shows the computer's local time zone, and I want to show it as UTC.     Hi All I am trying to create a scikit.timeseries object starting from 2 datetime objects. If I understood correctly it should be possible to create a scikits.timeseries starting from datetime objects. I try the following code but it says that Insufficient parameters. The 2 datetime differs for few microseconds. In this case what should be the value for freq parameter? Is what I am trying allowed? In theory, since timeseries can be based on datetime objects it should be possible to hanlde up to microsecond , is this correct? I think that this is not really clear to me.     I'm writing this as DevConnections in Las Vegas is happening. Visual Studio 2010 has been released and I now have this 3GB beast installed to my machine. (I'll admit, it has some nice features.) However, while the install was monopolizing my computer's resources I began to wish that my IDE worked more like Google Documents (instantly available, available anywhere, easy to share, easy to collaborate, naturally versioned). A few Google (and StackOverflow) searches led me to : Coderun Bespin I'm well aware that these IDE's are missing a lot of what exists in VS 2010. However, that isn't my question. Instead, I'm wondering what benefits a web-based IDE might have? Assuming a company invests the time to create the missing features, what is the downside?

    Hello, Title of my question may sound a little bit odd but I was thinking if Exchange 2010 or 2007 or any program that would work in conjunction with Exchange has ability to create this structure: Users having their normal mailboxes connected and using them as everyone would in Outlook 2003/2007/2010. Users having additional mailboxes (from old Exchange 2003) attached but hidden on demand of Administrator. For example administrator could easy disable them just like they never been attached making them invisible to users and everyone else. Would be good if such mailboxes could be easily removed out of system (lets say on external drive) by simple step not manual job for 100 mailboxes. Users without ability to copy/move their mails to outside storage (like a local .pst file)? Do you guys have any suggestions on this? I was thinking maybe using public folders but this seems like overkill and not really suited for this. And please don't ask me why I need this type of security (it's not something I requested).

    I have some data of an excel file below. At first, I figured that reading from the file could be done using the Excel Library then using an OLEDB connection. I managed to get the DocumentNo column data with the OLEDB approach. However, when the excel file is closed, I am unable to do the operation because it gives an error that "External table is not in the expected format."     I'm trying to compare 2 dates using javascript. 1 at the end of the month and 1 at the beginning. I need to compare these 2 dates in seconds so I'm using the Date.UTC javascript function. Here's the code: var d = Date.UTC(2010,5,31,23,59,59); document.write(d); var d2 = Date.UTC(2010,6,1,12,20,11); document.write(d2); The output for is: 1278028799000 1277986811000 This is telling me that 1/6/2010 is less than 5/31/2010 in milliseconds.     I'd like to change the formatting of a date in Symfony 1.4 The default one being: <?php echo $question->getUpdatedAt(); // Returns 2010-01-26 16:23:53 ?> I'd like my date to be formatted like so: 26/01/2010 - 16h23 I tried using the format_date helper DateHelper class. Unfortunately the API is rather empty (something really needs to be done about it.) Browsing the helper's source code, I found that a second argument, format, can be passed. I assumed it was using the same syntax as PHP's date function.
