  • XML validation error when using multiple schema files/namespaces

    Hi, I've been reading a ton about xml and learning a lot but I am stuck on one error. I have a schema defined in multiple files and I can't get it to work. I am attempting to generate a usage-report of how many of each event-type each user has caused in the last month. I am struggling with Django's ORM and while I am close I am running into a problem. However in both lists, the .count attributes are the same value. Infact the annotated 'count' is equal to how many events that user generated, regardless of type. So it would seem that my specific authusage = baseusage.exclude(loggedevent__authevent__id__lt=1) isn't excluding by subclass. I have tried id_lt=1, id_isnull=True, and others. Halp.

The problem comes when I go to unit testing, with js-test-driver: TestCase("MyTests", { setUp: function() { this.myform = "<form id='MyForm'><input type='text' required /><input type='submit' /></form>"; this.validator = $(this.myform).validate(); jstestdriver.console.log("Does the form validate? " + this.validator.form()); }, test_empty: function() { }, }); This code returns me the string Does the form validate? true This is a simplified version of my project of course, but the point is that I dont seem to be able to unit test the validation module im developing, since the jQuery validate plugin doesnt seem to work. What am I missing?

  • Input boxes with transparent background are not clickable in IE8

    I have an absolutely positioned input box in a form. The input box has transparent background: .form-page input[type="text"] { border: none; background-color: transparent; /* Other stuff: font-weight, font-size */ } Surprisingly, I cannot select this input box by clicking on it in IE8. It works perfectly in Firefox however. The same happens for background: none. When I change the background color: background-color: red; It works fine, so this is issue associated with transparent background. Setting a border makes the input box selectable by clicking on its border only. Is there a workaround to have clickable input box with transparent background working in IE8? Update: Example. Uncomment background-color and the inputbox is selectable.   • Advice on optimzing speed for a Stored Procedure that uses Views

    Based on a previous question and with a lot of help from Damir Sudarevic (thanks) I have the following sql code which works great but is very slow. Can anyone suggest how I can speed this up and optimise for speed. I am now using SQL Server Express 2008 (not 2005 as per my original question). What this code does is retrieves parameters and their associated values from several tables and rotates the table in a form that can be easily compared. Its great for one of two rows of data but now I am testing with 100 rows and to run GetJobParameters takes over 7 minutes to complete?     I'm working on a PoSh project that generates CSharp code, and then Add-Types it into memory. The new types use existing types in an on disk DLL, which is loaded via Add-Type. All is well and good untill I actualy try to invoke methods on the new types. Opera also doesn't work so I assume it is the same problem. However, above code works just fine in IE 8, Chrome, and Safari. On localhost all of the above browsers work as expected including Firefox and Opera -- they all receive "Got ajax request!" as the response from the server. Anybody have any ideas what's going on here and how to fix it? I am looking for a real solution or at least explanation as to what is going on and why.

  • Getting "Comment post not allowed (400)" when using Django Comments

    I'm going through a Django book and I seem to be stuck. The code base used in the book is .96 and I'm using 1.0 for my Django install. The portion I'm stuck at is related to Django comments (django.contrib.comments). When I submit my comments I get "Comment post not allowed (400) Why: Missing content_type or object_pk field". I've found the Django documentation to be a bit lacking in this area and I'm hoping to get some help. The comment box is displayed just fine, it's when I submit the comment that I get the above error (or security warning as it truly appears).   • Custom template for Django's comments application does not display fields

    Hi, I want to use django.contrib.comments in a blogging application and customize the way the form is displayed. My problem is that I can't get the fields to display although displaying the hidden fields works just fine.     I am currently working on an application that allows reverse geocoding using silverlight + bing maps. The thing is that I want to add a reference to the reverse geocoding service provided in msdn ( http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc879136.aspx) i.e. http:// dev.virtualearth.net/webservices/v1/geocodeservice/geocodeservice.svc?wsdl, but when I try to get a reference in vs2010, I get the following error: The document at the url http:// dev.virtualearth.net/webservices/v1/metadata/geocodeservice/geocodeservice.wsdl was not recognized as a known document type. Are there any introspection facility in R which will tell me which type this variable belongs to? The following illustrates the property of this variable: I am working on linear model selection, and the resource I have is lm result from another model. Now I want to retrieve the lm call by the command summary(model)$call so that I don't need to hardcode the model structure. However, since I have to change the dataset, I need to do a bit of modification on the "string", but apparently it is not a simple string. I wonder if there is any command similar to string.replace so that I can manipulate this variable from the variable $call.     Hackage has several packages for monad transformers: mtl: Monad transformer library transformers: Concrete functor and monad transformers monads-fd: Monad classes, using functional dependencies monads-tf: Monad classes, using type families monadLib: A collection of monad transformers. mtl-tf: Monad transformer library using type families mmtl: Modular Monad transformer library mtlx: Monad transformer library with type indexes, providing 'free' copies. compose-trans: Composable monad transformers (and maybe I missed some) Which one shall we use? mtl is the one in the Haskell Platform, but I keep hearing on reddit that it's uncool. But what's bad about choice anyway, isn't it just a good thing? Does this mean that these packages are not competing but rather work together in some way? And do Andy and Ross consider any of their own packages as obsolete? Which one should me and you use?

I don't want the generic repository to know the either repository or the mapping override class, because they vary from project to project. I see another solution: in the GenericNHibernateRepository class I can do this.GetType() and get the repository implementation type (e.g.: PersonRepository). However I can't call UseOverridesFromAssemblyOf() passing a type. Is there another way to configure overrides in FluentNHibernate? If not, how could I call UseOverridesFromAssemblyOf<T> without making the generic repository depend upon the repository implementation or the mapping override class? I was hoping some one may have seen this issue before.     I'm confused regarding each() and .each()... I think I need to use both, but I'm not sure how... Basically, I have a series of checkboxes and when they're checked, I want to get the id of the closest table row and add it to an array that I can then serialize and pass to a function.
