  Hi All, I'm using windows 7 , and all what i want is to install Version Control server on one machine and let other developers to connect to it using the machine IP address and chekout, update and commit files I have tried VisualSVN and it works well for me , I also have tried to install Apache Server and try to configure it to run with subversion but I failed to do so , so if any one can help me I will appreciated Thanks in Advance Edit what I want if any one can suggest an alternative like VisualSVN that let me compare and choose from different options Thanks in Advance

In my source laptop, I have a 'hg' repository in ~/work/myserver and my source laptop ip address inet addr:192.168.1.2. So what should i do on my dest laptop so that I can clone my hg repository?   I've discovered PARSENAME function as a good choice to order IP address stored in Database. Here there is an example. My issue is I'm using Hibernate with named queries in a xml mapping file and I am trying to avoid the use of session.createSQLQuery(..) function.   I am currently upgrading our software to support ipv6 and in the meantime I'm expanding hostname/ip fields to the max hostname size. In sun documentation it seems like this can be up to 1025 (netdb.h:#define NI_MAXHOST 1025 - this is the recommended hostname allocation define), but when I pass a hostname of over 255 to getaddrinfo I get "getaddrinfo failed: memory allocation failure". I am testing on a Sol10 box. Ideas?

The only other option I can think of is using the IP address, which is less than ideal in many cases (college campuses, shared Internet access, etc.). It needs to be the same number every time it is run on the same PC, but different for each user.

My guess would be to add additional nameservers beyond the first two. • IIS show upgrade website for all requests

  Hi I have a temp website set up in IIS Manager (6) linked to an IP / URL, for example: 1.2.3.4 / www.someUrl.com When that url is accessed, the temp website shows fine. But if someone tries to access any other file within that domain, for example: www.someUrl.com/index.cfm?action=profile then the upgrade website does not display. How do I get it to show for all requests made to the domain www.someUrl.com?? Thanks
