    I have several classes that extend C and I would need a method that accepts any argument of type C. But in this method I would like to know if I'm dealing with A or B. * public A extends C public B extends C public void goForIt(C c)() If I cast how can I retrieve the type in a clean way (I just read using getClass or instanceof is often not the best way).     I found a great control with example here for mvc It fulfills all my requirement but the problem is that it uses a js tree dll. Should I go on and used that example in my application? Do you people refrain from using 3rd party free dll in applications? I am looking for this mainly for performance tweaking and hoping there is a readymade project rather than building from scratch.   • MainMenu with Images

    I have a MainMenu in my app and I would like to have little icons relevant to the Item in each menu. But the MainMenu control does not support this. I would use the MenuStrip control, though that is a pretty ugly option in my opinion. Does anybody have any suggestions? Are there any free/open source alt's out there, or would it be easy/possible to implement that feature into the existing MainMenu control?

  • Mod_rewrite and redirects with training forward slash not working

    I'm using the following lines of code in my .htaccess file to create redirects. The problem is, whenever I go to example.com/register/ it cant find the css files because it's looking for example.com/register/mycss.css instead of example.com/mycss.css. Redirect 301 register.php http://example.com/register RewriteRule ^register/?$ register.php How can I correct this? I'm new to any kind of htaccess/mod_rewrite functions so feel free to point me in the right direction if there are any other flaws.

  • What is the proper odbc command for calling Oracle stored procedure with parameters from .Net?

    In the case of MSFT SQL Server 08, it is: odbcCommand = new OdbcCommand("{call " + SP_NAME + " (?,?,?,?,?,?,?) }", odbcConn); When I try to do the same thing for Oracle, I get: OdbcException: ERROR [HYC00] [Oracle][ODBC]Optional feature not implemented. Feel free to ask for clarification, and please help. I am using .Net 3.5, SQL Server 08, and Oracle 11g_home1. P.S. The Oracle stored procedure does have some 3 more parameters, but I believe I am handling this in my code.

It consists of eliminating useless words such as "how" "you" "to" then using a premade Stemmer class that reduces words to their root so "Appointments" searches "appoint" However in the end I'm really only searching keywords and the results are not very accurate.
