• Network Proxies all grayed out...why?

  I'm a new Mac OS X 10.6 user, and I was trying to change the Network Proxies settings. However, it's all grayed out and was wondering how to make it editable? I'm the admin of the computer, so this is quite puzzling.

• PSU died, is hard drive fried? Are other components damaged?

  After discovering and replacing my dead PSU, I was able to boot back into Windows. Everything seems to be working fine, however, one hard drive is not. Windows 7 says that this SATA hard drive needs to be formatted before it can work. Can the data be recovered? Also, is there a way to check the integrity of the other components of my computer or assume they will work fine?

I'm aware of Audio Hijack Pro but that really does much more than I'm looking for and comes with a steep price tag.   I am on a Mac and when I enter http://you/ in the location bar, it displays 'Apache is functioning normally' no matter which browser (Safari, Firefox, Chrome) I am using. Is this normal? Or could it be that my computer is hacked in some way and is now acting as a server for the hackers? EDIT: I originally wanted to go to the youtube.com, but entered http://you/ by accident and found out this strange behavior.

  I have a problem with drive cloning. Im using dd on damaged disk with bad sectors trying to make an image from it. Im booting computer with Live Linux CD . Damaged disk: sda 146GB (NTFS) External drive: sdb 300GB (NTFS) After running the command below im running out of space on disk sdb. dd if=/dev/sda of=/dev/sdb/hdd.img bs=4096 conv=noerror,sync The question is why im running out of space on disk sdb ?
