    If you build a simple dragger: $(document).ready( function() { $('#tomove').draggable( { axis: 'x', drag: function(event, ui) { mouseUp(); } }); } ); And you try to stop it programmatically: function mouseUp() { if($('#tomove').offset().left 400) { $('#tomove').trigger('mouseup'); } } You will get this message in error console: this.helper is null Is there any way to fix this?   • Initializr Bootstrap. Knowledgebase. How to create and edit content?

    I am in the process of creating a knowledgebase website for my office and I find bootstrap pretty awesome. Now, people at work, which may not be HTML savvy, will be creating new articles and then posting them to this knowledge base. Is there something you can recommend that would allow such type of user to create a document on somthing similar to Microsoft Word but web based and then publish?     I'm working at a java application that performs some xslt transformation. I would like to match nodes into the xslt document, using a parameter provided by java. Which is the right way to do something like: <xsl:template match="//m:properties/*[contains($pattern,name())]"> because when I launch my application, it claims it's not able to compile the stylesheet, since pattern is not defined but I'm setting it using the setParameter method and I was able to use another parameter defined in the same way but in a different context.   • Function to get the font and calculate the width of the string not working on first instance

    I'm trying to calculate the width of the string based on the font style and size. The user will provide the string, the font style and the font size, and then after giving all the data the user will hit the submit button and the function will trigger. Basically this script works but only when the submit button is hit twice or the font is selected twice,. I mean if you selec DNBlock as a font, it will not work for first time, but the second time you hit submit, it will then work. I'm not sure where is the problem here, but when I used the default font style like Arial, times new roman etc it works perfectly fine. Any Idea on this? I suspected that the font style is not being rendered by the script or something. Correct me if I'm wrong. I am using "document.getElementbyId("myelement").click()" this is working fine in IE but FireFox is not supporting it.   • jQuery.post not working when using data type json

    I have been trying to utilize json in this jQuery.post because I need to return two values from my executed php. The code was working when I was not implementing json. I need to see if a promo code entered is valid for a particular broker. The two variables I need back are the instant message whether or not it's valid (this is displayed to the user) and I need to update a hidden field that will be used later while updating the database. The jQuery.post does not seem to be firing at all, but the code directly above it (the ajax-loader.gif) is working. I did re-write the whole thing at one point using jQuery.ajax, and had issues there too. Granted, I have probably been looking at this too long and have tried to re-write too many times, but any help is greatly appreciated!!
