  I'm managing a small website, which allows people to register as members. Previously I used a google form to manage member registration, but now as the number of users becomes quite big I am switching to mysql. Currently I have around 500 members in the database, saved in a google spreadsheet. How can I do a bulk import from a google spreadsheet to a table in mysql? BTW I'm using phpmyadmin, so a solution for phpmyadmin is preferable :) Thanks.

I want to enable the following function -- when the sub-site administrator publishing a page, the administrator could select to publish to the sub-site only or publish to both root site and sub-site.   With netstat -a I can see all connections from my machine to the MySQL Server. There is any way too see which process or executable is responsible for each connection? The only solution I found so far is to listen the packets and analyse the data inside it. But what if the data couldn't provide information about the process?

• PCIe network card deactivate DVI output (but NOT VGA output) on Shuttle SG41J1+

  It's all in the title :) Inserting a network card (or any other PCIe card, RAID controller, SAS, etc ) in the PCIe 16x slot of the Shuttle SG41J1 deactivate the DVI output. The VGA output still works fine. Shuttle support says that it's a chipset limitation (G41 + ICH7), but that doesn't make sense to me : the VGA and DVI share the same hardware but the D/A converter stage. Does anyone think that there may be some solution to this conundrum? Can a future BIOS update solve the problem?

  I have one analog monitor connected through dvi adapter one digital monitor connected through dvi tv connected through hdmi I'm unable to run all 3 at the same time, when I try to extend desktop it asks me to disable one of the monitors so I can only have 2 at one time. I tried finding solution but according to some forums I should be able to achieve it since one is analog I should be able to run 3 outputs with hdmi that way. Does any one have any suggestions?   On windows server 2003 when one user connects to the server via RDP the default printer of the server for her profile does not change to the redirected printer of the session. This only happens with the one user all the other users default printers defaults to their session printer automatically.   I just purchased a new ultrabook (Asus UX32VD). Awesome laptop, but I am having trouble using it with its native resolution being 1920 x 1080. Text is so small and hard to read. I have increased the text size in the display options but it don't really improve it for all scenarios, especially in webpages. I am wondering if there is a possible solution to this? Simply lowering the resolution makes everything look pixelated.

For my logs needs I tried logrotate but found that logrotate is not too friendly to Python applications, so I tried using RotatingFileHandler and even worse found my logs all chopped up and part of it went missing! I am considering ConcurrentRotatingFileHandler, my question is, has anyone out there experienced the same thing and better yet do you have any battle tested solution for Python wsgi, concurrently accessed applications?

• Stop excel from converting copy-pasted number/text values to date

  I'm copy-pasting some data from html table into excel. But excel automatically converts some text or number values to date! When I change the format, the number is perversed, the number is something like 4112523 (excel probably interprets the cell as date and then converts to number or something like that...) There is a trick for importing CSV files, but is there any solution when you are pasting your data directly from a web browser?
