• How do I Parse the response I get back from CURL?

  I'm sending some data to an external URL using Curl. The server sends me back a response in a string like this: trnApproved=0&trnId=10000002&messageId=7&messageText=DECLINE I can assign this string to a variable like this: $txResult = curl_exec( $ch ); echo "Result:<BR>"; echo $txResult; But how do I use the data that is sent back? I need a way to get the value of each variable sent back so that I can use it in my PHP script. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

  Hello, Ive just started using jquery for the .load ajax functionality. When i load an external page to a specific div it loads fine. inside the external page there is an .append that .appends javascript to the head.   I've seen a number of posts on SO about how to define custom iterators, but nothing that seems to exactly answers my question, which is... How do I create an iterator that hides a nested for loop? For instance, I have a class Foo, inside of the Foo is a Bar, and inside of the Bar is a string. I could write for (const Foo& foo : foo_set) for (const Bar& bar : foo.bar_set) if (bar.my_string != "baz") cout << bar.my_string << endl; but instead I want to be able to do something like: for (const string& good : foo_set) cout << good << endl; How do I do something like this?

  Hello, I want to allow users to type the name of any .txt file to be read/written. This is my code : printf("Enter .txt file name\n"); scanf("%s",&fname); FILE *inputf; inputf=fopen(&fname,"w"); Problem is this method does not work (having &fname) as a parameter. I can imagine its because C needs "filename.txt" for it work ... even if I enter for example : "custom.txt", the program returns an error of "Storage block not big enough for this operation" What is the correct method to accomplish this ? Im using C and im pretty much using basic commands .. (not too advanced) Thanks alot !!!

  I am trying to do an Ajax request for an ICS file. Yeah, I know it sounds crazy, but I found the perfect library to parse the iCal data.   I have a method with the prototype: bool getAssignment(const Query& query, Assignment *&result); I am a bit confused about the type of the second param (Assignment *&result) since I don't think I have seen something like that before. It is used like: Assignment *a; if (!getAssignment(query, a)) return false; Is it a reference to a pointer or the other way around ? or neither ? Any explanation is appreciated. Thanks.

  Hi! I'm doing a conversion between two software which both use XML so the actual conversion part is fairly straightforward - adding text here, removing others here, converting a few information. I'm using VBSCript WSH. The only issue I'm still having is the darn &#13; character - that's my problem! I've tried both strText = Replace(strText, "&#13;", "") and using a regex with Regex.pattern = "&#13;" ... neither works. I also tried replacing char(13), VBCR... nothing seems to detect the actual string itself and not the character it's creating. Can anyone help me?

  My file contains a series of numbers (integer, float, integer, float ....), each written on a separate line. The numbers of columns are different from one line to another i.e. 1 2.45 3 1.75 5 3.45 7 2.55 9 3.25 6 1.75 4 3.55 6 2.55 9 2.45 The program should read the contents of the entire file and place the data into an array of type float with an entry for each line.   In the app.config file if I use <add key = "FileDelimeter" value ="&#2c;"/> as unicode for COMMA, it is throwing error Invalid character in a decimal number 'c' For SPACE, <add key = "FileDelimeter" value ="&#20;"/> the error is Character'', hex value 0*14 is illegal in xml while <add key = "FileDelimeter" value ="&#09;"/> for "\t" worked.   Honestly, I couldnt think of a better title for this issue because I am having 2 problems and I don't know the cause. The first problem I have is this //global declaration float g_posX = 0.0f; ............. //if keydown happens g_posX += 0.03f; &m_mtxView._41 = g_posX; I get this error cannot convert from 'float' to 'float *' So I assume that the matrix only accepts pointers. So i change the varible to this.... //global declaration float *g_posX = 0.0f; ............. //if keydown happens g_posX += 0.03f; &m_mtxView._41 = &g_posX; and I get this error cannot convert from 'float' to 'float *' which is pretty much saying that I can not declare g_posX as a pointer. honestly, I don't know what to do.

  I'm trying to use an integer as the numerical representation of a string, for example, storing "ABCD" as 0x41424344. However, when it comes to output, I've got to convert the integer back into 4 ASCII characters. Right now, I'm using bit shifts and masking, as follows: int value = 0x41424344; string s = new string ( new char [] { (char)(value >> 24), (char)(value >> 16 & 0xFF), (char)(value >> 8 & 0xFF), (char)(value & 0xFF) }); Is there a cleaner way to do this? I've tried various casts, but the compiler, as expected, complained about it.

I've got an issue regarding last_insert_id, because for both situations (php & sql) it returns 0.
