  • Looking for an example of selecting a row(s) with multiple columns from a grid view and add them to

    Here is the situation dealing with a vb.net website, I have students who will be enrolled into a course. The student grid view has many columns like client_no, student_name, date_of_birth, address, etc. There are over 100000 students so I will need to filter the student grid view to find the correct student to enroll in the course. Once they are found, the user selects them and somehow moves them to the enrolled grid view. If a student drops out then they would be removed from the enrolled grid view. This process needs to be easy to understand and use. Are there any examples available or other suggestions on how to do this?

    Hi, I'm pretty new to OpenGL. Was playing around with some code but can't figure out why the following will not produce two viewports with the same object view.   • Can you have multiple interpolators on a single view when using ViewPropertyAnimator?

    For example, I would like to animate a view such that it moves down in the y direction while decelerating, and at the same time it undergoes an alpha change linearly. The code would look something like this: myView.animate().translationY(100).setDuration(1000).setInterpolator(new DecelerateInterpolator()); myView.animate().alpha(1).setDuration(1000).setInterpolator(new LinearInterpolator()); This does not work of course because the LinearInterpolator overwrites the DecelerateInterpolator. Is there a way to have one interpolator for the translation part of the animation and a different interpolator for the alpha part? I am aware that this can be accomplished using ObjectAnimator or an AnimationSet, but my question is about whether it can be done using the much cleaner ViewPropertyAnimator.

    I have several client databases that use my windows application. I want to send this data for online web site. The client databases and server database structure is different because we need to add client ID column to some tables in server data base. I use this way to sync databases; use another application and use C# bulk copy with transaction to sync databases. My server database sql server is too busy and parallel task cannot be run. I work on this solution: I use triggers after update, delete, insert to save changes in one table and create sql query to send a web service to sync data. But I must send all data first! Huge data set (bigger than 16mg) I think can't use replication because the structure and primary keys are different.

    I am not sure am I doing these correct. I have 3 models, Account, User, and Event. Account contains a group of Users. Each User have its own username and password for login, but they can access the same Account data under the same Account. Events is create by a User, which other Users in the same Account can also read or edit it. I created the following migrations and models. Is this setting correct? Every time when a user create a new account, the system will ask for the user information, e.g. username and password. How can I add them into correct tables?     In my environment my Dev and QA Database Instances are on the same server. I would like to deploy the same package (or different versions of the package) into SSIS and set the filter to select different rows in the Config table. Is this possible? This is SQL 2005. For the sake of this question lets say I have one variable, which is a directory path. I would like to have these variables in the table twice (with different Filters applied (Dev and QA) as below (simplified) . . . Filter / Variable Value / Variable Name Dev / c:\data\dev / FilePath QA / c:\data\qa / FilePath Do I need to apply a change within the settings of the package in SSIS or is it changed on the job step within Agent? Any help would be appreciated.

  • scala coalesces multiple function call parameters into a Tuple -- can this be disabled?

    This is a troublesome violation of type safety in my project, so I'm looking for a way to disable it. It seems that if a function takes an AnyRef (or a java.lang.Object), you can call the function with any combination of parameters, and Scala will coalesce the parameters into a Tuple object and invoke the function. In my case the function isn't expecting a Tuple, and fails at runtime.   • What is the best way to deal with address inputs that can be from multiple countries?

    Most of my websites in the past have been rather limited to the United States when it came to displaying addresses. On a project I'm working on right now, however, users can add events from all over the world. My problem is how to go about dealing with the different way in which addresses are displayed across the world. For example, City/State/Zip is just a US thing. I was figuring I would alter the inputs displayed based on the country selected but I have no idea how I'm supposed to know the way every single country does addresses. Ideas?
