  I'm building an firebug-like inspection tool for my page. When the mouse enters an element, the element should be highlighted. Now I'm creating an element which I position absolute on top of the target element, this however means the next mousemove event (which is bound to the document) will fire with the actual "highlight element" as the target. Is there a way to prevent the "highlight element" from being the target element in the mousemove event? The element already has a transparant background.

• Smarty: including a template file from the same directory

  I have a Smarty template located in a directory under templates_dir: templates/some/dir/template.tpl . In the same directory, I have a sub-template: templates/some/dir/_component.tpl . I can't include the sub-component using an unqualified include, since apparently it looks it up under the templates_dir: {include file='_component.tpl'} How can I tell Smarty to read the file from the same directory, as opposed to the templates root ? I do not want to specify absolute paths, since it will cause problems when changing directory structures.

• mod_rewrite browser trying to get content from non-existant dir

  I have my mod_rewrite set up so that it redirects all requests that aren't targeting existing files or directories to index.php?req=* where * is the request. Works all fine but when I send the browser to something like this: http://myurl/A/B/C The browser tries to find all images, stylesheets in the non-existing folder C. How can I make the browser to look in / instead of the 'virtual' directory? Do I have to put an absolute path everywhere?

  Hi My question is, can I control the style of the paging element separately of top and bottom, I have set the paging to appear in both top and bottom of the gridview, and I want to see that the top pagination is little high up in the page, to do that I used the cssClass and set margin-top:20px and made the position: absolute, this does change the position of the top paging area and set it rightly for me, but the bottom pagination has also come up as a result and now sits inside the grid data!!   I'm looking for a way to find what I know will be a unique file, and then change into the directory containing that file. Something along the lines of: find . -name 'Subscription.java' | xargs cd Or: find . -name 'Subscription.java' -exec cd {} \; I know this won't work because it's both trying to cd supplying the entire absolute path, which contains the file, and also because xargs can't do any built in shell commands...but you get the point of what I want to accomplish.
