But I am still not clear about the stuff(any kind of view, or anything from CoreAnimation framework, or anything else?) which would be perfectly fit this.     Did I missed anything during this? I am running a this command from command prompt in Windows 7 to create a certificate but it is showing a syntax error. Command I ran: makecert.exe "c:\1\Test.cer" -a sha1 -n "CN=AppGuid" -sr LocalMachine -ss My -sky signature -pe -len 2048 Output I got: Usage: MakeCert [ basic|extended options] [outputCertificateFile] Basic Options -sk -ss -sr . . . Did I missed anything during this?

  • Is there a good Open Source, XSD based Web Editor?

    I'm looking for a good open source web editor that will take xsd (or some other standard XML) and from that generate web forms that will enable the end user to generate standard xml (without knowing anything about xml obliviously). I took a look at kupu, but there doesn't seem to be much documentation and the site appears to no longer exist. Is there anything out there that does this already. I could write something like this myself, but if there's something that out there that will save me some time that would be great. Thanks

  • Open-source generic web service to database interface?

    I'm looking for a thin, generic layer (probably written in PHP) that sits between a database (probably MySQL) and web service clients (which could be anything). I imagine there would be config files of some sort that tell it how to map web service requests to database queries (or other DB commands). It would also need to handle authentication and authorization, of course. I've done some googling but failed to find anything that fits the bill. Can anyone suggest something like this?

    I'm interested in literature (articles on internet, in magazines, books, podcasts - I don't really mind anything) that describes how PHP works internally, about its gotchas and perhaps some advanced functions. Is there anything like this out there? I tried to search on Google, but majority of articles were about starting with PHP and its basic functions. Any input is really welcome as I'm trying to understand the language internally - I'm tired of my mindless typing of code without understanding its essence.

  • Is it against best practice to throw Exception on most JUnit tests?

    Almost all of my JUnit tests are written with the following signature: public void testSomething() throws Exception My reasoning is that I can focus on what I'm testing rather than exception handling which JUnit appears to give me for free. But am I missing anything by doing this? Is it against best practice? Would I gain anything by explicitly catching specific exceptions in my test and then fail()'ing on them?

    I need to let my users type anything at the end of my url, like this: http://mysite.com/?somethingorother or http://mysite.com/somethingorother And then I would like to get that last bit that they added to the end of the url like so: $var = $_POST['']; But I'm not sure how to go about this, and I can't find anything, because I'm not quite sure how to search for it. In a django view you have to return an HttpResponse object from the view, but sometimes I don't need to return anything.   • A NSMutableArray is destroying my life!

    EDITED to show the relevant part of the code Hi. There's a strange problem with an NSMutableArray which I'm just not understanding... Explaining: I have a NSMutableArray, defined as a property (nonatomic, retain), synthesized, and initialized with 29 elements. realSectionNames = [[NSMutableArray alloc] initWithCapacity:29]; After the initialization, I can insert elements as I wish and everything seems to be working fine. While I'm running the application, however, if I insert a new element in the array, I can print the array in the function where I inserted the element, and everything seems ok. However, when I select a row in the table, and I need to read that array, my application crashes. In fact, it cannot even print the array anymore. Is there any "magical and logical trick" everybody should know when using a NSMutableArray that a beginner like myself can be missing? Thanks a lot. I declare my array as realSectionNames = [[NSMutableArray alloc] initWithCapacity:29]; I insert objects in my array with [realSectionNames addObject:[category categoryFirstLetter]]; although I know i can also insert it with [realSectionNames insertObject:[category categoryFirstLetter] atIndex:i]; where the "i" is the first non-occupied position. After the insertion, I reload the data of my tableView. Printing the array before or after reloading the data shows it has the desired information. After that, selecting a row at the table makes the application crash. This realSectionNames is used in several UITableViewDelegate functions, but for the case it doesn't matter. What truly matters is that printing the array in the beginning of the didSelectRowAtIndexPath function crashes everything (and of course, doesn't print anything).   • Change date format (in DB or output) to dd/mm/yyyy - PHP MySQL

    MySQL stores the date in my database (by default) as 'YYYY-MM-DD' The field type for my date is 'DATE' (I do not need any time storage).. Is there a simple way to change it by default to DD/MM/YYYY ? I call up different dates in 2 different tables, and no where in any of my code do I have anything resembling a date variable or anything! Hopefully this is a straight forward change?
