  • Adding nodes to drupal from remote site using ajax and post

    I'm trying to add nodes to my drupal site, from a campaignsite using AJAX request. I have set up a menu_callback item in my hook_menu, that checks if any $_POSTs are coming in, and it works if i make a form that has the action='http://mysite.com/menucallback/url', but i get nothing in response if i make the same request with ajax. I have access arguments set to 'access content'. If anyone knows what might be the problem, that would be very helpful. Thank you. /Anders

  • Translating profile fields. Drupal

    Hey all, I have multilanguage site, which have 3 languages. I'm using Username as field for First and Last name combined, and some Profile(core module) fields for example biography text field. So I want to translate Username and Profile fields in each language. I have tested it with i18n, it is not working with username and profile text field. So if Username problem I can use profile text fields for First and Last name. But no one module is providing localization support for Profile fields. Any suggestions? Thank you

    drupal version is 6. just want to know where are those $body_classes comes form. I knew in template_preprocess_page , there is a variable called 'body_classes'. but my problem is, not all body_classes are come from preprocess page. for instance: I have a term named 'activities and attractions', then in my page.tpl.php, there is a class 'page-activities and attractions' in my tag. looks like taxonomy module generates a body_class, but i could find it after search seource code of taxonomy module.

    Hi I want to delete the unused drupal modules like ( blog, Forum, taxonomy ...) but I'm worried if I delete the modules from the modules directory I might cause an error (now or in the future) . is it safe? and if I deleted the corresponding tables what will happen? the reason for this is because I want to deliver the site to my client, and teach him how to use the admin page, but I want to make as easy as possible for him..

So, was wondering if there are any signs that give this away that I should know about? Some of the giveaways I know of, are: When adding content, it will say "node/add".   • Drupal Webforms module - Form results say "Array" instead of form values

    I have a simple form built with the Webforms module in Drupal. The standard textfield form fields work perfectly. However if I use the preset date or time form values, they don't get emailed properly when the form is submitted. For instance, if there was a date field in my form, it would submit fine and render on the results page just fine, but if I wanted that value to be included in an email, it would show up as "Array" within the text of the email instead of showing the date. There is an open support issue within the module issues page, but I'm hoping for any additional help.

However, when the URL address is application/android/16 android menu item is not highlighted.     This is a really weird question and I apologize: I've been asked if it's possible not to import our blog from Wordpress to Drupal but just keep it in Wordpress as an archive and re-direct our users say from hostname/blog/... to hostname/wordpress/... when a URL matches the Wordpress URL pattern. I've never heard of anyone trying this and I'm wondering about pitfalls and whether or not it's even possible. Thanks! D
