    Hi All, I have to include a dynamic page content into my template, Say I have a left panel which gets the data dynamically through a view. Now, I have to include this left panel into all my pages but I do not want to duplicate the code for all the pages. Is there any way, I can write a single script and include it in all my templates to display the left panel in all my pages? Thanks in advance.

    I will be creating flatfiles and based on the data in the batch, it might be necessary to split the data into an undetermined number of files. I can make the connection string dynamic with an expression, but that is only evaluated when the package starts. I'd like to change that expression to include a '-a' or '-b' in the filename. Alternately, if I have to create new connection manager objects at run time on demand, how do I go about that?

    I tried using the code below for the Excel program on my `Mac Mini using the OS X Version 10.7.2 and it keeps saying Error due to file name / path: (The Excel fiel I am creating is going to be a template with my formulas and macros installed which will be used over and over). Next, A3 is the file name and B3 is the content for the file, etc. ONCE the content reads what is in cell A16 and B16 (length will vary), the file creation should stop, if not then I can delete the additional files created. This sheet will never change. Is there a way to establish the excel macro to always go to this sheet instead of have to select it with the mouse to identify the starting point? 2nd Objective I would like to have the following data to be used to create a text file. A:1 is what I need the name of the file to be. B:B is the content I want in the file. So, A2 - is the file name "geo-sitemap.xml" and B:B to be the content in the file (ignore the .xml file extension in the photo). ONCE the content cell reads what is in cell "B16" (length will vary), the file creation should stop, if not then I can adjust the cells that have need content (formulated content you see in the image is preset for 500 rows). I can Provide the content in the cells that are filled in by excel formulas that are not not to be included in the .txt files. It is ok if it is not possible.     Everytime I type some text, it is overwriting what I have typed. I assume that the mode is set to overwriting, I want to insert the text not overwrite it, but I can't disable it because my insert key is mixed up with my delete key so everytime I enter insert to disable the overwrite mode, it just delete what I type. So how to disable this? I'm using centOS.. and it seems that my problem is only related to Netbeans because when I type here, it is set to insert mode.. but in Netbeans, it just overwrites the codes! help!

    I am trying to send data (plain text string) to a port at a remote computer using terminal utility. The string would be used to trigger something on the remote computer running a program that would listen to that specific port. I used netcat command and tried a few combination of the following but can't seem to get the parameter right.   • Why is Word 2007 not allowing me to select and edit text?

    I have just installed Office 2007 for a user. Word is acting strangely. If I open a document. The cursor just stays at the top left of the document and I can not place it anywhere else. I cannot select other text. I cannot write additional text. If I simply open up Word and start a new document I am allowed to type like normal. If I were to save and close this document and reopen it. I would not be able to input anything. Seems like I am stuck in some wrong input mode? I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Any ideas?

    So, I'm addicted to vim and often add lots of garbage to regular text fields when I try to use vim commands and am not in vim. I thought to myself, why can't vim be EVERYWHERE?! Then it struck me. Why not? Has anyone written a program that could redirect input/current text fields into a vim buffer so that one could use vim-style editing in things other than terminals and gVim? Redirect keyboard input?     I am forced to use the web version of Outlook at Office 365. I really dislike how it formats e-mail as well as how it handles quoting when replying. In the desktop version of Outlook you can at least force it too display the messages in plain text and then you can manually bottom post/post interleaved. Plain text also changes how it handles quotes: " " is used rather than some braindead RTF version of format=flowed (I like format=flowed when it is implemented without bugs) although the attribution line is completely useless but in the online version I can't find a way to achieve even this. Any ideas? I guess a Greasemonkey script could do this?

    Before I ask question, I've searched but only found ways of copy and paste "formatted cell". That's not what I need. I want to use an example to explain my requirement: There are 2 cells in a sheet. Cell_A's text is "aaaaabbbbb", and "aaaaa" is green, and "bbbbb" is red. Cell_B's text is "ccccc" and "ccccc" is black. I want to copy and paste "bbbbb" from Cell_A to Cell_B and keep "bbbbb" in red. But in my environment(Office 2007), "bbbbb" is changed to black as "ccccc", the default format of Cell_B. Is there an easy way to implement my requirement?

    How can I recover a lost text file in Windows 7?? It has very important information in it and of course, it is gone because of the stupid Windows Update thing....it just automatically closed all of my stuff and restarted my computer!! Would the text file possibly be in the Temp folder in my computer?? I don't know much about this stuff...but I need it.   • How do I show some simple HTML (text/images) in the sidebar of my Drupal 7 theme?

    I've created a theme using Zen and all is well. I want to display some simple text and images in the sidebar, but I don't understand Drupal well enough to know what I'm doing. I have worked with Joomla which allows one to create a new HTML module, populate it, and then select where it appears on the page (and also of course which pages). I don't see this with Drupal. I've seen some talk about using the theme's templates, but I need for my client to be able to change the text (and/or images) without knowing anything about that. It would be best to create an article and be able to make that article appear in the side bar somehow. Is this possible?
