  • Installing Sql Server 2005 SP2 - Getting error on analysis services component

    At first many of the components didn't install and I followed this workaround (fixing user/SID mappings in registry.) After that everything installed successfully except for analysis services. I am getting the exact same error message as before on analysis services. (Are there other users installed by sql server I'm not aware of perhaps?) Do you guys have any ideas? All of my searches seem to just point to that workaround above that I already did.     I am looking in to Google Webmaster Tools - Crawl Error section. How should I handle for those URL due their system / application showed invalid URL. e.g http://www.example/images/products/s_=enlarge_16gb.jpg but, I dunno what happen to yahoo groups, it break the link into http://www.example/images/products/s_= enlarge_16gb.jpg and I only make the top part become hyperlink, which is http://www.example/images/products/s_= Because of the URL, Google show crawl error, I got few error because of this kind of result or because other people typo error. How do I prevent this. I am sure I don't have the right go and change other people post. What is the solution for this. Thanks!

    I know that in Ubuntu 14.04 there exists nvidia-prime for Nvidia Optimus, but I don't like it and neither am I able to get it work. After upgrading from Ubuntu 12.04 everything crashed, and I made a clean install of Ubuntu 14.04 and Bumblebee, but now I have new troubles. After running optirun glxgears I get the following error: **[ 4703.996785] [ERROR]Cannot access secondary GPU, secondary X is not active.** **[ 4703.996910] [ERROR]Aborting because fallback start is disabled.** Please help.

  • Frequent grub rescue error: unknown filesystem

    It's really frustrating. Three week's back story: I faced the following error on ubuntu 10.04 LTS Desktop, error : unknown filesystem grub rescue> I tried many solutions online apart from 1 and 2 and eventually I could not boot my system at all. Trying those solutions could not completely fix it and then I had to face initramfs(could not remember exact error). As I could not fix, a week back I did a fresh install of Ubuntu 12.04 Desktop and after a week i.e, now, I got the same grub rescue> error. Could anybody tell me what's the reason behind this error?. Is there any problem with the Ubuntu or it's a problem at my side due to some reason?. My machine description: I have two hard disks, windows is installed on one hard disk and on another it's Ubuntu. I installed the operating systems(vista, ubuntu) such a way one is not known to another, I mean to say, I'll unplug one hard disk and install the Ubuntu and similarly I'll unplug the ubuntu hard disk, installed the vista on another hard disk, generally I do(I actually don't want to run into grub/boot.ini issues installing OSs connecting both the hard disks). When ever I power on the computer windows will boot by default, and I'll generally boot to ubuntu by pressing F8 and selecting the ubuntu hard disk. Any help is greatly appreciated!. Thank you!

    Just update my dell Inspiron to 12.04.1. Upon reboot I get the following error: The disk drive for / is not ready yet or not present. I press "S" to skip mount and then I get the folllowing error: the disk drive for /tmp is not ready yet or not present. I have already tried the following from the maintanance shell prompt: dpkg --configure -a No luck same error. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

SQL Server 2005 Backward Compatability SP2 or higher must be installed. I have installed SQLServer2005_BC_x64.msi from MS, and cant seem to find this SP2 version. SQL server is a 2008 R2 SP1.     I've posted this here as its more of a mysql questions than c#, I have written some software that runs a local instance of mysql when it first starts, now once mysql is up I would like to synchronize the data between the remote database table and the local database table that the software runs (it shouldn't sync any other databases / tables as there are a lot). I have replication setup to synchronize the entire database to another server which works unless the server goes down then it never comes back up, so based on that I don't think replication will work as when the software is closed it also closes MySQL. So what would be the best method of synchronizing the remote and local databases?

  • Completely remove and freshly install MySql on XP?

    I have read this question and have not found it as a solution and I have even attempted much more. I've uninstalled MySql 5.5.18 and deleted: C:\Program Files\MySql C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\MySql After uninstalling, I restart the computer. When I reinstall, in the MySql Server Instance Configuration Wizard I leave everything to their defaults except: I add a firewall exception I check Launch MySQL Server Automatically I check Include BIN directory in windows path Enable root access from remote machines (I'll lock that down later, just debugging for now, I have also tried installing without this option to no avail) I've tried Typical and Complete while installing, as well as with and without strict mode. No combination shows a difference. After all this, it cannot Apply Security Settings and I get a 10061 error (it also said error number 2003) and this article didn't help. I've tried everything I can to completely uninstall and successfully reinstall so I can start from scratch. I've uninstalled and reinstalled about a dozen times with minor changes (including turning off the firewall at times), each time deleting the above folders and any proper registry entries with no success. Note by success, applying security settings and a working remote connection. I can connect locally every time, but it's remotely that counts. I have tried to look for exterior problems such as port forwarding in the router and (even though the installer should add it) I do double check the firewall settings, which have always allowed the default port. I'm out of ideas.

One time, machine rebooted (not manually), when I turn it on, it runs fsck on /dev/sdc2 and fix some errors and some files are missing on /dev/sdc2 I'v check /dev/sdc2 for badblocks, it doesn't have it ( using e2fsck -c /dev/sdc2 ) Here is the output of fsck http://pastebin.com/D5LmLVBY What else I can do to understand what's wrong here?   • Unable to mount 1TB USB external HDD - Error

    Hi, I'm getting an error when I plug in my 1TB USB external HDD, the wierd thing about this is that it was working fine before and I've been using it for about a couple of months now. yesterday I compressed one of the folders which had about 120GB of data but the compression failed after an hour and I decided to unmount the drive and shut everything down.   • Set Error-Pages for all Applications in Tomcat

    I'm trying to set up custom error pages in tomcat 6, because I don't want the default ones to show up. My error pages are static html, no jsp or anything dynamic. I know how to do this through the web.xml in each application but I'd prefere to setup the error pages only once for the entire server. I tried to add the following fragment to the global web.xml (in conf), but no matter what I add under location, it does not show. <error-page> <error-code>404</error-code> <location>/404.html</location> </error-page> What do I need to do to gobally define custom error pages?
