  Looking for example using MediaFileUpload has a reference to the basic documentation for creating/uploading a file to Google Drive. However, while I have code that creates files, converting from HTML to Google Doc format. I've been banging my head against this for two days now so its time to ask for help... • xPath Groupings how?

  OK So, I'm learning/using xpath for a basic application thats effectively ripping data off another website. I need to gain the knowledge of each persons Countryy/Suburb/area. In some instances you can get Australia/Victoria/melborne for instance. Others may just be Australia/Melbourne. Or even just Melbourne OR just AUSTRALIA. who knows. So I'm current able to view the below code and rip all of the information with the string xpath search:@" //table/tr/td/tabke/tr/td/font/a, this returns every entry, but what I really want is to group each lot separately. I hope someone out there on planet earth knows what I just tried to explain... and can help... • DIV tags not being properly nested.

  I have created some <div> tags and am setting it to contain two <div> tags that are floated to both sides of the <div>. I noticed when I tried to set a background color that the containing <div> was not properly wrapping around the <div>s that its supposed to contain. I would like to know why this happens. I have seen a similar question here http://stackoverflow.com/questions/611220/why-are-these-div-tags-not-nesting-properly but no one has explained why this happens in any of the answers.

• Can a stylesheet for handhelds skip loading images

  I have a stylesheet for desktops, and another for handhelds. The web page displays some images when displayed on the desktop, but hides those images when displayed on handhelds. The page appears as designed for both desktops and handhelds. When I check the server logs, I find that the handheld is actually still loading the images, just not displaying them. Is there a way to stop the handheld from loading the images entirely, since it doesn't need them, without having to maintain two sets of web pages? Can it be done using just stylesheets?   I have my UserControls in a ~/Controls folder in my solution: /Controls/TheControl.ascx If specify the following: <a runat="server" href="./?pg=1">link text</a> ASP.Net seems to want to rewrite the path to point to the absolute location. For example, If the control is on site.com/products/fish/cans.aspx the link href will be rewritten to read <a href="../../Controls/?pg=1>link text</a> Why does Asp.Net rewrite these control paths, and is there an elegant way to fix it? I just want the anchor control to spit out exactly what I tell it to!!! Is that so hard?

  I want to make an XMLHttpRequest to a secure uri (https://site.com/ajaxservice/) from javascript running inside a nonsecure page (http://site.com/page.htm). I've tried all kinds of nutty stuff like iframes and dynamic script elements, so far no go. I know I am violating 'same origin policy' but there must be some way to make this work. I will take any kind of wacky solution short of having the SSL protocol written in javascript.

I also want to add in some javascript to do a little math. Basically ($jackendveh - $jackbegveh) - ($jackendmon - $jackbegmon) and have that displayed in jacktx. Currently the only way I know of adding in the math calculations is to rename each input to a unique name and then rewrite my insert from 1 insert to 8 inserts.

• Are fluid websites worth making anymore?

  Hey guys, I'm making a website now and I am trying to decide if I should make it fluid or not. Fixed width websites are much easier to make and also much easier to make them appear consistent. To be honest though, I personally prefer looking at fluid websites that stretch to the full width of my monitor. My question comes from the fact that in most modern browsers you can hold control and scroll your mouse wheel to basically resize any website. So is creating a fluid website worth the trouble?
