  • ant compile problem

    If I start ant compile in JDeveloper all classes are compiled successfully and copied to the classes folder. But if I run ant compile from console then no classes are copied to the classes folder. Does anyone know why?   • Silverlight ViewBase in separate assembly - possible?

    I have all my views in a project inheriting from a ViewBase class that inherits from UserControl.   • "Breadcrumbs" for series of hostnames?

    Does anyone know of a shell that would show a series of breadcrumbs as I navigate into/out of various servers, like this: Home > Build Machine > Vagrant > Docker-base Hopefully it could auto-detect logging in and out of various boxes and display the hostnames. Perhaps with a simple "no circular links", one could just try and monitor the hostname, but I don't know if there is a shell that can easily act as a 'parent' to the other shells on these various systems so that it can query hostname and/or other item. Any thoughts?

  • What would I need to do to clone a Linux install to another machine?

    Basically, I want to make an image of one Linux install I have, and distribute it over similar (if not identical) spec machines on a network. I know it is possible, however am unsure of what needs to be done before I make the image of the install to ensure it works correctly on all machines. First think I know needs to be done, is remove all interface configuration, as I assume it would just jump to eth1 (and possibly use the same MAC), as it wont locate the network interface it had before, how would I do this so it auto detects and goes to eth0 again? Is there anything else I would need to do to the install before I make its image?

  • CSS Fluid Grid Layout Problem

    I have a max-width em based container for my layout. Within it I have many floated fixed width boxes, at 230px to be exact. At the max-width the container will expand to 90em's. This fit's 6 boxes per line perfectly. As the window sizes down and boxes are bumped to lower rows it leaves an ugly gap with the navigation above. I would like to force the container of the boxes to center them at all times.   • Adding empty string to RadComboBox

    Guys, I have a webpage that has a Telerik RadComboBox on the page. One of the properties of this ComboBox is EmptyMessage, which fills the combobox with a message when an item is not selected. I am binding my combobox to a datasource at runtime and for some reason, it wipes this EmptyMessage away. Is there a way to keep my data items in tact and have the empty message there too? And default it to the empty message?

  • Static IPv6 address advertising and IPv6 autoconfig in Debian/Ubuntu

    I have a network that advertises IPv6 addresses through IPv6 autoconfig. To allow DNS lookups and to have fancy IP addresses, we setup "static" IPv6 addresses through /etc/network/interfaces: auto eth0 iface eth0 inet dhcp iface eth0 inet6 static address a:b:c:d:e::f netmask 64 Whenever we now connect through IPv6 Linux uses the IPv6 autoconfig address: a:b:c:d:21d:60ff:fe4a:479 and not the static IPv6 address: a:b:c:d:e::f A server on the other side only sees the autoconfig address. Is there a way to force linux (Debian/Ubuntu) to use the static address for outgoing packets? This is especially interesting for reverse DNS and firewall settings. I don't want to disable the IPv6 autoconfig since I don't have control over the settings the router advertises.

    One developer on my team has some setting in Android Studio that replaces the distributionUrl entry in gradle/wrapper/gradle-wrapper.properties to use the gradle-###-all.zip, while my Android Studio changes it back to gradle-###-bin.zip. Basically, my diff always looks like: -distributionUrl=https\://services.gradle.org/distributions/gradle-1.12-all.zip +distributionUrl=https\://services.gradle.org/distributions/gradle-1.12-bin.zip This is annoying. What setting is it, and how do I change it?

    At our office, any of our Windows 7 Clients get this error message when we try and RDP to a remote W2K8 Server outside of the office :- Your system administrator does not allow the user of saved credentials to log on to the remote computer XXX because its identity is not fully verified. Please enter new credentials A quick google search leads to some posts they all suggest I edit group policy, etc. I'm under the impression, that the common fix for this, is to follow those instructions -per Windows7 machine-. Ack :( Is there anyway I can do something via our office Active Directory .. which auto updates all Windows 7 clients in the office LAN?

  • Taskbar disappears sometimes when using a second monitor

    Windows 7 laptop, docked with a second monitor. This problem started happening when I started using the second monitor. The taskbar will often stop displaying. The Windows logo remains, but the bar, system tray, clock, and any icons for minimized programs disappear. I can see part of my desktop wallpaper where the taskbar should be. The taskbar is not set to auto-hide. Killing the explorer.exe process and starting it again temporarily fixes this. Is there a permanent solution? Thanks!

  • How to mount /tmp in /mnt on EC2?

    I was wondering what is the best way to mount the /tmp endpoint in the ephemeral storage /mnt on an EC2 instance and give the ubuntu user default write permissions. Some suggest editing /etc/rc.local this way: mkdir -p /mnt/tmp && mount --bind -o nobootwait /mnt/tmp /tmp However that doesn't work for me (files differs). I tried editing the default fstab entry: /dev/xvdb /mnt auto defaults,nobootwait,comment=cloudconfig 0 2 replacing /mnt with /tmp and and giving it a umask=0777, however it doesn't work because of cloudconfig. I'm using Ubuntu 12.04. Thanks.

    I am new to Perl and I work in a Linux OEL 5x server. I am trying to configure the Perl DB modules for Oracle connectivity (DBD and DBI modules). Can anyone help me out in the installation procedure? I had tried CPAN didn't really worked out. Any help would be appreciated. I am not quite sure I need to initialize any variables other than $LD_LIBRARY_PATH and $ORACLE_HOME These are my observations: ISSUE:: I am getting the following issue while using the DBI module to connect to Oracle: install_driver(Oracle) failed: Can't locate loadable object for module DBD::Oracle in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/lib64/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl /usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl /usr/lib64/perl5/5.8.8/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.8 .) at (eval 3) line 3 Compilation failed in require at (eval 3) line 3.   • Active Directory Password Policy Problem

    To Clarify: my question is why isn't my password policy applying to people in the domain. Hey guys, having trouble with our password policy in Active Directory. Sometimes it just helps me to type out what I’m seeing It appears to not be applying properly across the board. I am new to this environment and AD in general but I think I have a general grasp of what should be going on. It’s a pretty simple AD setup without too many Group Policies being applied. After running Group Policy modeling it seems like the password policy and default domain policy is getting applied to everyone.     I am running Windows 7. In Internet Explorer 9, when I visit a webpage and enter a password it is automatically remembered. When I leave the site and return again at another time, the password is filled in automatically. I would like to stop this behavior. I do not not think that it is an auto fill problem. I think it may be related to an addon provided by my OEM and published by Authentic called "Truesuite Website Log On". How can I confirm that Truesuite is the culprit? How can I stop passwords from being filled in automatically.
