    I have div that I need to be present on every page, yet at a different length depending on the exact page. So far, I have this: <div class="above <?php if (is_page(12)) echo 'short'; ?>"> //content </div><!-- end above --> How do I go about adding something to the avail of <?php if (is_page(24, 26, 28)) echo 'med'; ?> (on page 12 I need the "short" length, and on pages 24, 26, 28 I need the "med" length of the div) Any help is appreciated. I'm just now diving into php and while I do love the options it makes available, I'm not sure yet how to put it all together.

    Hello, I know how to generate rounded corners using images. But please have a look at the link :- http://roundedbox.andreas-kalt.de/ The rounded corners on all four corners are all images, but my question is how are those borders in the middle done? Those green color borders that surround the whole div. The tutorial is given but it is German :(. Also i don't want to use Css3 like -webkit-border-radius etc as they are not yet supported in IE Thanks in advance :)

  • Toggle DIV and SPAN text onclick

    I have been trying to mimic this website http://www.designrattan.co.uk/daybed/apple for a while now. I need to make a page where the customer can click "View 360" and then it changes the DIV to show the product 360 (for which I already have the code for). I also need to make it so that when it is clicked the span text then changes to "Back to Image" I have tried many times and have failed to get the Javascript code and HTML to work well together. My efforts can be seen here: http://designliving.tk/winchester-rattan-garden-round-table-set As you can see it is a complete fail as it doesn't change the DIV it just displays a new one. Also when you click the button it then changes to text instead of a new button.   • expand floating object when floating object within expands

    Hey guys, quick question, I have a link when clicked drops down a list. This list is floated to the right to position it properly. This list is in another box that has been floated. My problem is that when the list expands, the box does not and the list comes out of the container box, unless the list is not floated. However floating it seems like the only way to get it to the position I want. My question that was too long to put into a title is: If everyone needs to use a reset stylesheet 90% of the time, why do browsers need to set default styles? We're just going to remove them anyways, right?

  • How do I set font size to 0px in IE6?

    I have an unordered list, I'm trying to hide the text in the list. I can do this 2 ways that i know of: font-color: transparent; font-size: 0px; I prefer the 0px method as its not selectable. This issue is neither way works in IE6. The first way just doesn't work in IE6 at all, the 2nd leave a 1PX high font. Is there a way to hide the text in IE6? This is a visual thing, I know you can read the text by reading the source and that is OK, I just need it to visually not be there.

  • Images not displaying if using file:///c:/

    I am using jQuery and would like to display the images from my PC, rather than hosting them. I have the following: /* works fine: */ .ui-widget-header .ui-icon { background-image: url(images/ui-icons_2e83ff_256x240.png); } /* does not work: */ .ui-widget-header .ui-icon { background-image: url(file:///C:/ui-icons_2e83ff_256x240.png); } When I put file:///C:/ui-icons_2e83ff_256x240.png in a browser, it displays the actual image beautifully. Both locations are valid image locations. Could this not working be to do with the image being a sprite? Does anyone have any ideas on this one? Many thanks.

  • Get back the default browser styling for input fields

    I need to style all the input fields but one. So i have set a rule for all the inputs on the site. For the seachfield i need to use the browser default, so i was thinking i could just inherit all the values i have set for the general input fields. (have tried border: none to) This does not work in FF nor Safari :( The border just gets transparent. http://jsfiddle.net/N5KKH/1/ Any idea how i could get the default browser styling back?     Is there any way to make only a non-transparent portion of an image to trigger mouse-over event? If the mouse travels to the transparent area, the mouse-out should be triggered and the script should listen for any mouse-over event on a layer underneath the image. Is it possible?     I'm looking for a way to implement a bracket style border around my <h2> headings; I've attached an image showing exactly what I'm trying to accomplish. The only way I can think of to achieve this effect is by using images, but I'm unsure of exactly how to do so(all of my <h2>s are of varying length/height, or if maybe there is a better way.     I'm trying to create a simple thumbnail list, the code is pretty much copied off jqm docs pages. However, when I use the code below the button element of the list isn't anchored to the left of the list item and instead appears centered...Can anyone help me? It's driving me crazy!   • Format table header

    I have a table with slanted text in the header row, the only problem is that the text still makes the width of the columns way to large. Is there any way to squish together the table columns so that they are about the width of the select boxes? Or is there a way to place the text there without it in the header and maybe just use a <div> or <p>?     I'm creating an HTML email and since background images can't be used on anything but <body> thought I could get around this by making a border image 100% height within a cell. Perhaps it was wishful thinking? I've searched at the solutions that worked in the past no longer work in modern browsers. Is there any special trick to making this happen without setting a hard height for the cell?   • Stretch image to fill div, but not skew

    I'm trying to make an image stretch to fit inside a div. However I want it to overflow so that the entire div is filled. The div resizes with the page. I want an effect similar to the jQuery bgstretcher plugin (http://www.ajaxblender.com/bgstretcher-2-jquery-stretch-background-plugin-updated.html) , but I cannot use that plugin because I'm already using it for the background image on the page, and it seems to not work when you try and activate multiple instances of it. So what I'm asking is for some sort of simple jQuery function that resizes an image to completely fill a div with overflow hidden, so that there are no gaps, but without skewing the image. Edit: http://jsfiddle.net/R7UCZ/ That's sort of what I'm after, but I want the image to fill the entire div without skewing. If the image goes out of the div a bit, that's fine, but I need it to resize with the div, which resizes with the page, both height and width.

  • <a> with an inner <span> not triggering :active state in IE

    I want to style the :active state of a button that is represented by an . The tag has an inner (beacuse I want to add an icon to this button). I notice the :active state is triggered properly in everything but Internet Explorer. In IE, it appears that the area around the (the 's padding) triggers that :active state, but when clicking directly on the text within the , the :active state is not triggered. Is there a way to fix this without resorting to Javascript?
