  • Mysql - What's wrong with the query...?

I am trying to query a database to find the following If a customer searches for a hotel in a city between dates A and B, find and return the hotels in which rooms are free between the two dates. There will be more than one room in each room type(i.e. 5 Rooms in type A, 10 rooms in Type B etc) and we have to query the db to find only those hotels in which there is atleast one room free in atleast one type. The thing is the query doesn't return any result at all...even though it should if i calculate it myself manually... I tried running the sub-query alone and i don't get any result... And i have lost quite some amount of hair trying to de-bug this query from yesterday... What's wrong with this...? Or is there a better way to do what i mentioned above...? Thanks for your time...   • Every subsequent call to an Axis webservice fails

    I've been having a strange issue with an Axis webservice which is called through the https protocol. Basically, when an invocation is made, the call goes through just fine.   • Get Doxygen to show XCode compile errors if documentation is missing

    I have been successful with this in the past but now I can't seem to find the setting that tells XCode or Doxygen (or both) to display compile errors if documentation is missing. I have looked at the Apple documentation that tells how to create docsets and that works fine but XCode does not throw compiling errors on missing comments in the source code. Anyone know how to get this turned on? Thanks, Rob

  • Why doesn't this loop terminate?

    Here's the sample code: public static void col (int n) { if (n % 2 == 0) n = n/2 ; if (n % 2 != 0) n = ((n*3)+1) ; System.out.println (n) ; if (n != 1) col (n) ; } this works just fine until it gets down to 2. then it outputs 2 4 2 4 2 4 2 4 2 4 infinitely. it seems to me that if 2 is entered as n then (n % 2 == 0) is true 2 will be divided by 2 to yeild 1. then 1 will be printed and since (n != 1) is false the loop will terminate. Why doesn't this happen?

    Here is my problem in a small bit of code used as an example, trial(0) function [] = trial(test) disp(test) if(test == 1) disp('test is one') test = 0; end disp(test) Matlab prints out this: 0 'test is one' 0 This is not my real code, there are over 500 lines of it, but this is a section of my code where the problem has risen. I have used the search function to see if I have been incrementing any variables anywhere, and have put in over 2 hours trying to see why MATLAB is changing my variables when I don't want it to.

    My Pylons app uses local MySQL server via SQLAlchemy and python-MySQLdb. If I should handle this exception somewhere in my code, please show the place for such code in a Pylons WSGI app. Or maybe there is a solution in SA itself?

  • Ruby Methods: how to return an usage string when insufficient arguments are given

    Hi, After I have created a serious bunch of classes (with initialize methods), I am loading these into IRb to test each of them. I do so by creating simple instances and calling their methods to learn their behavior. However sometimes I don't remember exactly what order I was supposed to give the arguments when I call the .new method on the class. It requires me to look back at the code. However, I think it should be easy enough to return a usage message, instead of seeing: ArgumentError: wrong number of arguments (0 for 9) So I prefer to return a string with the human readable arguments, by example using "puts" or just a return of a string. Now I have seen the rescue keyword inside begin-end code, but I wonder how I could catch the ArgumentError when the initialize method is called. Thank you for your answers, feedback and comments!

  • BWToolkit inclusion crashing

    Hey guys I'm using the latest version of XCode (3.2.2) and I've linked the framework using the tutorial. I was building my app and tested it and I get a BWToolkit exception on decoding. I've included the Framework in the frameworks and added it to the copy files stage. I even created a new dummy app including the framework and adding it to the copy files stage and it still crashes when I try to run. Any ideas? Do I need to include it somewhere in the app?   • Reading all compile errors in Windows command-line?

I'm compiling Java in Windows Vista's command-line and have so many syntax errors that some are being pushed off the top (a lot of 'class, interface or enum expected' errors which leads me to believe it's an obvious syntax mistake early on in the code that I can't spot).   • Need Help with Consolidating RoR Google Map Results

    I have a project that returns geocoded results within 20 miles of the user. I want these results grouped on the map by zip code, then within the info window show the individual results. The code posted below works, but for some reason it only displays the 1.png rather than looking at the results and using the correct .png icon associated with the number. For example maxval(j,:) will change depending one row it is looking through for certain values. I did this manually and I see that on the first loop the matrices are size (1,1), however, if I set the loop to run for only j=2, the row length is 13. Usually if a matrix is changing size on the loop, I only get a warning, but this time I think it is due to a reason I don't understand.
