  • Explicit localization problem

    when trying to translate the confirmation message to Norwegian i get the following error: Cannot have more than one binding on property 'OnClientClick' on 'System.Web.UI.WebControls.LinkButton'. Ensure that this property is not bound through an implicit expression, for example, using meta:resourcekey. i use Explicit localization in the following manner: <asp:LinkButton ID="lnkMarkInvoiced" runat="server" OnClick="lnkMarkInvoiced_OnClick" OnClientClick="<%# Resources: lnkMarkInvoicedResource.OnClientClick%>" Visible="False" CssClass="stdtext" meta:resourcekey="lnkMarkInvoicedResource" ></asp:LinkButton> here's the local resource file entry: <data name="lnkMarkInvoicedResource.OnClientClick" xml:space="preserve"> <value>return confirm('Er du sikker?');</value> if i remove the meta attribute i get the English text(default). how do i get the Norwegian text appearing without resorting to using the code behind? Update: removing the meta attribute prevents the exception from occurring but the original problem still exists. I can't get the Norwegian text to show. only the default English text shows. Another Update: I know this question is getting old but i still can't get the Norwegian text to display. If anyone has some tips please post a response.

    Hi All, Actually am try to get a report on merge conflicts. I used 'git blame' to see who has changed what line, but i couldn't find the branch and repository name information. Is there a way to find the repository name, branch name and author name of a file from 'git blame' or from commit ids' so that whenever a merge conflict occurs i can send an email to the authors who have touched that file/lines to resolve it.     Hy, I'm trying to do a "i forgot my password" functionallity. My problem is that if i try to do a Doctrine query and send password to email it retrieves password encripted. I look at some webs that DoctrineGuard don't have this functionallity and only have register and login functionallity. Is it true? In this case, how i can do a remember password function? thanks

  • Can I use the AJAX Autocomplete extender *without* a webservice?

    Using ASP.NET 3.5 with VB codebehind. I don't want to use a webservice to populate an autocomplete extender on a textbox. In this case, it's where the user is entering email addresses and I don't want to make a trip to the database every single time. I'd much rather keep a collection in session state and 'bind' the autocomplete to that. Is it possible to set ServicePath and/or ServiceMethod to something in the codebehind as opposed to a webservice?

  • Deleting a resource in a Cucumber (Capybara) step doesn't work

    Here is my Scenario: Scenario: Delete a match Given pojo is logged in And there is a match with the following: | game_id | 1 | | name | Game del Pojo | | date_and_time | 2010-02-23 17:52:00 | | players | 2 | | teams | 2 | | comment | This is an awesome comment | | user_id | 1 | And I am on the show match 1 page And show me the page When I follow "Delete" And I follow "Yes, delete it" Then there should not be a match with the following: | game_id | 1 | | name | Game del Pojo | | date_and_time | 2010-02-23 17:52:00 | | players | 2 | | teams | 2 | | comment | This is an awesome comment | | user_id | 1 | If I walk through these steps manually, they work. When I click the confirmation: Yes, delete it, then the match is deleted. Cucumber, however, fails to delete the record and the last step fails.   • Is there a Rails authentication library which separates users from login methods?

    In my mental model of authentication, a user should be distinct from the way they log in. So for example, a User could have an associated EmailLogin (with an email/password), or they could have many (or none). Similarly they could have 0..* associated OpenIDLogin credentials. Are there any existing authentication libraries for Rails which use this method? Alternatively, is this a really terrible idea?

  • Rails: Multi-Step New User Signup Form (FSM?)

    I've read the "Create Multi-Step Wizard" in Advanced Rails Recipes. I've also read and re-read the documentation for the updated FSM I'm using called Workflow, and looked here and here. The Advanced Rails Recipe focuses on records (quizzes) that already exist, and doesn't cover creating new ones. The Workflow docs don't cover any code for controllers or views, so I've no idea what to do with all this model magic, and the last two links barely touch on implementation either. From the aforementioned resources, I have a good understanding of what a FSM in Rails is and how to play with it in the console or IRB, but I've got very little direction or understanding how to implement one into my Rails app. What I would like is this: a simple, multi-step user signup process. Step 1: User enters in their critical details (with validations). Step 2: User enters in their search criteria, for their profile (with validations). Step 3: User agrees to the Terms of Service (with validations). Step 4: User is greeted by a confirmation page, including a link that takes them to their newly created account. I'd also like full navigation between the steps and full capture (saves to the database) with each transition. Can someone please give me a clear implementation of something similar to this? I would LOVE an example app that includes a multi-step signup process where I can look at the code (FULL source code--models AND controllers and views) under the hood, but I've been unable to find anything like that.
