  • Serving files with Turbogears2

    How do I serve files from an arbitrary directory with Turbogears2? I have a database with the local path, e.g. /home/myuser/tg2env/MyProject/myproject/files/somefile.jpg tg.url seems to only be able to serve things from the public directory. Is there a widget available, or do I need to write some sort of DownloadController?

  • Report Builder Error (Input string was not in a correct format) when filtering data

    Issue: the user is getting an error “The requested list could not be retrieved because the query is not valid or a connection could not be made to the data source.” while trying to filter a reporting using Report Builder 2.0. When you expand the details the message is “Input string was not in a correct format” I verified that when the user clicks to see the filter values the query is being sent to the underlying database (by using profiler). When I build the same report [I'm a server admin] I have no issues and see all the filtered values, which leads me to believe this is a permissions issue. I believe I granted all the correct permissions, see below: Report Server Setup [Project Name] Data Sources Models […other folders] We are using SQL Server 2005. But all of the options require you to move your hands significantly away from their natural place on the keyboard! Are there any other, quicker ways I can navigate this list? This is going to need to be re-evaluated about a thousand times and I'd rather not have to traverse the whole thing every time. Is there any way to make this traversal once and then have it be a function that is called every other time?

    Hi, I am trying to convert a SQL query to LINQ. Somehow my count(distinct(x)) logic does not seem to be working correctly. The original SQL is quite efficient(or so i think), but the generated SQL is not even returning the correct result. I am trying to fix this LINQ to do what the original SQL is doing, AND in an efficient way as the original query is doing.     Hi I have an app that starts in Landscape Right mode. When I tap a textField the keyboard should slide up, however first time when the keyboard slides it slides from the right (where the home button is). After that it slides up and down as expected. So only the first time when I call the keyboard in it comes from where it would come if the app would be in portrait mode. Does anyone know how can I fix this?

Currently, everything I try is caught by the 'entry' route.
