  I Do not know any JQuery and have to create a Tab with JQuery or JavaScript which works well with Multiview. And note that I have this kinds of tabs in more than 40 pages so I'm looking for a solution which works for all of them. This is my current Scenario I have a Multiview and some Buttons above Multiview. Each Multiview contains a module (.ascx control) whenever User clicks on a button MultiView ActiveIndex Change to specific index. Each Module (tab content) has some Ajax functionality and I want to change tab items with JQuery in order to prevent post backing page. Please give complete code, cause I don't know any Jquery. • AS3: Removing EventListeners without knowing amount or names

First shortly about how my site works: When a link is clicked it checks if something is already displayed in either the Left or Right side of the screen (the website looks like a book, so I have a left page I want to display information on and a right page). If there is already something showing it hides it and displays the new object, together with this it enables all the buttons within that object (I have separate functions to set up each object). An example of such an EventListener would be: pathTo.Button1.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, function():void {showText(side, object)}); What I'm trying to do is to remove all the previous set EventListeners without having to create separate functions for removing the links inside every object as well. Shorter version: How do I remove all EventListeners on all objects inside another object? The only variable I want to store is the object containing everything. There are however not always EventListeners within the objects.

• Manually Adjusting UI for Rotation

  In my view I have some number-pad type buttons that I want to manually adjust their X and Y when the view is rotated. I'm having trouble figuring out how to support this. I have added in my ViewDidLoad NSNotificationCenter.DefaultCenter.AddObserver("UIDeviceOrientationDidChangeNotification", DeviceRotated ); And I defined my DeviceRotated but the breakpoint is never hit. I thought this might be because of the Autorotate, so I overrided the ShouldAutorotateToInterfaceOrientation and set that to false (true didn't work either). I figured there should be some WillRotate (but that's a void return type) or something that would allow me to indicate that I want the View to rotate, and whatever is set to auto adjust I'd like it to do that, but that I would like to be able to manually adjust any other items that I need. If I have to do everything myself, that's fine as well. Any advice would be appreciated, Driss.

• [WPF] Drag and drop between 2 popups

  Our application is a WPF (4.0) AppBar docked to the top of the desktop. Various buttons in the AppBar produce Popups containing various data (in ListBoxes). I am trying to implement drag and drop of items between 2 Popups. It's pretty standard boiler plate stuff using Josh Smith's draggable ListBox that I've used half a dozen times before. Drag is initiating correctly, but the target Popup is not receiving the DragOver or Drop. Is this a focus issue? Or is there something else at work here?

  I have an ObervableCollection of data items. This collection is bound to a ListBox. When the user selects a item from the listbox and clicks the Edit button a UserControl with the details of that item is displayed with the various properties bound to text boxes. Each binding mode is set for TwoWay. On this details UserControl, I would like to implement 2 buttons, OK and Cancel. This would be consistent with UIs in Windows. This application is using the Model-View_ViewModel pattern. Here is my question: 1) How can I implement the Cancel button when all the changes have already been committed?

• VB 2010 Express - Debugger is not breaking on errors, Sub producing error simply terminates

  I'm using VB 2010 Express. When an error occurs in the form load function, the form load function simply terminates. Then, when I click on one of my buttons, the button click sub also terminates if it has an error. I can wrap the code that produces the errors in try/catch blocks, but I'd very much rather the debugger to throw an immediate break point (like usual) or at least exit the program. It's making it very difficult to program, not knowing whether or not previous Subs executed fully. Any thoughts on what might be going on? Thanks

  I have a list of controls that I change based on an event. The controls are contained within a table that is created dynamically. I traverse through a set of controls and if it is a RadioButtonList or a DropDownList I do the following: CType(cntrl, ListControl).SelectedValue = val The radio buttons set just fine but the dropdown list doesn't reset. Can anyone tell me why. The initial table is created on the first Page Load and stored in memory. It's values are changed during the eventhandling and reposted to a MasterPage's content holder.

• SDK Facebook app - allow to use the app only on FB, not on my website

  I am newbie in creating apps for Facebook and I would like to ask you about a few things. I created my first app, in the settings I set up the domain URL, canvas URL, etc... when I load the app via apps.facebook.com/my_app_name the app is working, but also when I visit the page via the canvas URL I configured. Is there any way to only allow access to the app only when loaded inside the Facebook chrome? Also, in the app that I made are some links, buttons, etc. and when you hover over them with the mouse you can see my own domain in the status bar below. Is there a way to change that?

  We have a VoIP application imVOX, and we are looking at various ways of expanding our reach. Part of that is writing an HTML5 application, but it requires the use of audio input from the browser (and also push to talk buttons from the browser, even if another app is focused). On the audio side, with HTML5 is there any way of taking audio input from the browser to compress and send to our servers? I know with Flash such is possible, but we're trying to avoid flash for mobile compatibility and generally looking toward the future.

  Hi all I have a scenario in which I need to design online keyboard with buttons implementing different mathematical functions in ASP.NET. For example 1) A button called "Fraction" Onclicking= should display A numerator and a denominator separated by '-' with empty fields. Just as we write fractions manually. Now when the user clicks on this button the cursor should focus on numerator displaying 'the division line' and then by pressing 'Down' arrow key(on computr keyboard) should focus on denominator allowing users to enter both fields. Keeping it simple the user should be able to toggle between numerator and denominator. Please help me with some sample code. I have got no idea. Thanks in advance

• Flex Problem Enabling and Disabling Button in List

  I have a list with a dataprovider, it lists out buttons encapsulated in an item renderer. All I want it to do is have a skin that it changes to when it is clicked. I can get this to happen, but then it just goes back to its up state. I want it to stick on the down state, which I have to do by disabling the button. • Stopping function on event in vb.net

  I have a vb.net application which does some processing. This processing can take a while. The application doesn't respond until the processing has ended and then it handle all events (such as click on buttons) that the user has done during the processing. I'd like to add a "Stop" button so that the user can stop the processing at some point. How can I do that? Could threading the processing (which is done in a function of the application) be a possible solution? I tried to add a button which change a boolean value and putting the code of the processing function inside a while statement based on that boolean value. However it doesn't work because the click event on the button is processed only after the end of the processing.

• ASP.NET: How to specify which button should defaultly react for an Enter press?

  I have a webpage where there are two buttons and a textbox. When the page loads and user presses enter, the first button is clicked - and that is ok. I would like to assure that if user enters the textBox and types anything there and THEN presses enter, the second button is clicked. When I enter the textBox I can tell that the first button will be used when I press enter, because it is a bit dark-blue-bordered then. I tried javascript's if (event && event.keyCode == 13) document.getElementById("Button2").click(); but it somehow doesn't work. So my second thought was that there must be a possibility to tell the browser which button should defaultly react for an enter press when I'm in a specific textBox (the dark-blue-bordered button). Edit: it might matter that first button is input and the second one is asp:Button

• How do I determine the dimensions of a .NET listview at runtime?

  I have a form with a split container and each panel has a list view and some buttons. I wanted to make sure that the header and at least two rows are visible in a listview. I originally determined the values for panel1MinSize & panel2MinSize by fine tuning the values visually (on my XP development machine). This approach was fine until I tested my app on Windows Vista - the basic dimensions of the listview are different and the listview is too small. To overcome this I believe I need to determine the listview dimensions at runtime and do some maths to set the panel min size but I can't see how to do this. Is this the right approach or is there an easier way?

I would like to have more than one event serve as a trigger; that is, I would like either a click event or a contextmenu event to turn a span into an in-place edit area.   Using this bootstrap modal extension and animate.css for fun, how can I take a make an easy ajax modal using :remote => true to fill in the modal box? Also, how would I use the bootstrap modal default "submit/cancel" buttons to interact with a form that's loaded? I'm looking for a more dynamic solution instead of hard-html-ing every modal into the page or using a bunch of jquery ajax calls for each dialog.   Hi and thanks for reading. I am not a database/vba guy and my experience is strictly in the JAVA world. However, I need to have an ACCESS form open. While it is open and new data is entered into it (via the underlying query OR any other data changes in other tables based on sql updates attached to buttons on this form), is there a way that I can initiate a transaction so that at the bottom of the form I could have a button that says "Exit and committ changes" or "Cancel and Rollback changes". I guess I thought of a situation where I could do something like: On Form OPEN, START TRANSACTION On "CLICK OK", COMMIT TRANSACTION or ON "CLICK CANCEL" ROLLBACK. I'm aware how to do the Workspace.BeginTransaction but I'm not sure if that will apply if I do it on FORM OPEN and then on FORM CLOSE do the COMMIT/ROLLBACK locgin? Any insight would be great.

  I want to start developmet of new application using PrismV4, MEF, Ribbon. But now, I have a problem. How to create tabs for Ribbon dynamically? Each module in application could create own tab in Ribbon. And each tab may have many groups. How can it be done? Where do I need to place each group's definitions (what controls to use (buttons, textboxes, comboboxes, etc) and command bindings and how? Do I need to write XAML somewhere in Module, or all it can be done by code? And last question, how to notify Ribbon (in Shell) to add these tabs to Ribbon? Shall I use EventAggregator to communicate from Module to Shell? Or? Thanks for any advices and Happy New Year :)
