  • ASUS Xonar DG not working Ubuntu

    I've checked the "Questions that may already have your answer" to no avail. Basically, there is no sound at all, the snd_oxygen drivers are all being loaded. I can see the sound card and all of it's separate ports in Settings-Sound-Output, but nothing is coming out. I tried adjusting the volume in alsamixer, but for some reason the volume won't change (all that is there are some options [Speakers, Headphones, FP Headphones] and they change when I press the up/down arrow keys) at all. I have also tried many other terminal commands, such as reloading alsa and checking if the sound card is even being detected, which it is. I'm left clueless. It says on a bug report that this has been unassigned for over a year. Surely that's not right. Thanks in advance, Caelan.

    Hi, We have a asp.net MVC3 based web app which uses SQL SERVER 2008 for database. Also, we have a client side desktop application which also uses SQL SERVER 2008. While developing the system, we are able to Sync tables using SQL SERVER Replication feature. Now, we want to host our site on a webserver but we are clueless about it. If anyone of you have a similar system working then please suggest a cheap but reliable webhost which supports Replication. Initially there will be approximately 10 or less clients who will perform replication 2 or 3 times a day. The size of the database will be less than 4GB for sure.

  • Difference in stats on the same domain - seo related

    Recently i started to optimize my company's website. With a little help of market samurai. One of the adjustments was a www redirect to the prefered domain. We currently rank on #8 for our desired keyword with the domain without the www. If I add a custom url (our domain with www), we see a difference in stats BLP (backlinks to the page) {it's the website on top} Can anyone tell me how i could merge this so we might even rank better for our keyword? What I did so far: 3 weeks ago set the www.duo.be as prefered domain in GWT and put a 301 redirect in place so the duo.be gets redirected to www.duo.be Both domains are in GWT and both with www.duo.be as preferred domain.   • How can you build a C++ library to produce a .lib file for use in another project?

    I tried to use Cmake for the first time, I tried adding a library to my project (Specifically, PhysFS) but then I understood that the library had no .lib file or .a file at all, so I have to build those somehow. I have no clue where to even start around going this, what should I do? Someone suggested I'd go to the project folder and type "Cmake ..." then "Make ..." but I was clueless as to how I'd do that. How would I build the library headers and source files in a .lib file that I can link in C::B? I'm using Windows XP SP3

  • Import .pem public and private keys to JKS keystore

    Hi, I have public and private keys in separate .pem files that I would need to get into a JKS keystore somehow. Tried using the -import command in KeyTool for this, which gives an "not an X.509 certificate" error. I'm guessing the solution has to do with OpenSSL, but I'm not entirely sure what to do with it. Would really appreciate any help with this, since I'm completely clueless with everything crypto-related. Thanks in advance, --Rolf

    I'm having difficultly adding querystring parameters to link_to UrlHelper. I have an Index view, for example, that has UI elements for sorting, filtering, and pagination (via will_paginate). The will_paginate plugin manages the intra-page persistence of querystring parameters correctly. Is there an automatic mechanism to add the querystring parameters to a give named route, or do I need to do so manually? A great deal of research on this seemingly simple construct has left me clueless.

TADOQuery (and TADOTable and TADOStoredProc) are provided for compatibility. Use TADODataSet for SQL that returns result-sets and TADOCommand for SQL that does not. I am a clueless n00b - who is about to code a lot of ADO stuph. Is that correct? Which components should I use fop something which does/does not return a result?

  • flex coverflow adding links to the images

    Hi, I'm using sebastiaan holtrop's cover flow component in Flex. I would like to be able to add the sources to the images using xml. I would also like each image to have its own URL assosiated with it, so when I click it (if it's in the front of the coverflow), I go to that URL. I found the "Language Reference" section on the PHP manual, but it doesn't look as detailed as the JLS.   • VS2010 Database Compare. How do you create a *.DBSchema extensioned file?

    I'd like to take a snapshot of my database, make some changes and then use the db compare functionality to identify the changes, and who knows, maybe even generate scripts to make the change. I'd like to avoid having to backup the current db and restore it as a separate db just to have a "before" snapshot. I'm guessing I shouldn't have to.
