  • jQuery Validation with depends

    - by user2262459
I would like to do validation which depends on other input value in same form. $( "#step1" ).validate({ rules: { weight: { required: true, max: $('#maxweight'), min: 1 }, ... I was reading all documentation: http://jqueryvalidation.org/, but I can not find anything about using other values from form to validate maximum value of other #id. Thank you in advance for help.

  • Building a maven child project that depends on another projects child project with Bamboo

    - by kosoant
I have two maven projects Project AAA * AAA-Core * AAA-Other Project BBB * BBB-Core * BBB-AAA-specific I want to create a build plan in Bamboo to build the BBB-AAA-specific project. The plan configuration is such that this project depends on the AAA-Other projec build. Thus everything should work ok. But when I try to run the BBB-AAA-specific Bamboo plan I get an error that states: "Unable to find resource 'foo.bar.AAA:AAA:pom:0.0.1-SNAPSHOT' in repository snapshots (http://foo.bar.com)" What is going on? The bamboo builds for "AAA-Core" and "AAA-Other" work as expected.

  • Backbone collection's URL depends on initialize function

    - by egidra
I have a Backbone collection whose URL depends on the initialize function. When I create an instance of this Backbone collection, I pass in an ID to filter which instances of the model appear. Here is what the collection's code looks like: var GoalUpdateList = Backbone.Collection.extend({ // Reference the Goal Update model model: GoalUpdate, // Do HTTP requests on this endpoint url: "http://localhost:8000/api/v1/goal_update/?goal__id=" + this.goal_id + "&format=json", // Set the goal ID that the goal update list corresponds to initialize: function(goal_id) { this.goal_id = goal_id; console.log(this.goal_id); console.log(this.url); }, }); Of course, this doesn't work. this.goal_id is seen as being undefined. I guess because the URL is set before the initialization function is run.

  • Conditional jump or move depends on uninitialised value - freeing a linked list

    - by user720491
    I want to free a linked list in C. All is working fine, but Valgrind is telling me Conditional jump or move depends on uninitialised value(s) at 0x401400: mtf_destroy Here's the code: list_elt *head; void mtf_init() { list_elt *current; head = malloc(sizeof(list_elt)); current = head; for (int i = 0; i < LIST_SIZE-1; i++) { current->value = (BYTE) i; current->next = malloc(sizeof(list_elt)); current = current->next; } current->value = LIST_SIZE-1; } void mtf_destroy(list_elt *elt) { if (elt->next != NULL) mtf_destroy(elt->next); free(elt); } How can I solve this? Thanks!

  • pinpointing "conditional jump or move depends on uninitialized value(s)" valgrind message

    - by kamziro
So I've been getting some mysterious uninitialized values message from valgrind and it's been quite the mystery as of where the bad value originated from. Seems that valgrind shows the place where the unitialised value ends up being used, but not the origin of the uninitialised value. ==11366== Conditional jump or move depends on uninitialised value(s) ==11366== at 0x43CAE4F: __printf_fp (in /lib/tls/i686/cmov/libc-2.7.so) ==11366== by 0x43C6563: vfprintf (in /lib/tls/i686/cmov/libc-2.7.so) ==11366== by 0x43EAC03: vsnprintf (in /lib/tls/i686/cmov/libc-2.7.so) ==11366== by 0x42D475B: (within /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6.0.9) ==11366== by 0x42E2C9B: std::ostreambuf_iterator<char, std::char_traits<char> > std::num_put<char, std::ostreambuf_iterator<char, std::char_traits<char> > >::_M_insert_float<double>(std::ostreambuf_iterator<char, std::char_traits<char> >, std::ios_base&, char, char, double) const (in /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6.0.9) ==11366== by 0x42E31B4: std::num_put<char, std::ostreambuf_iterator<char, std::char_traits<char> > >::do_put(std::ostreambuf_iterator<char, std::char_traits<char> >, std::ios_base&, char, double) const (in /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6.0.9) ==11366== by 0x42EE56F: std::ostream& std::ostream::_M_insert<double>(double) (in /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6.0.9) ==11366== by 0x81109ED: Snake::SnakeBody::syncBodyPos() (ostream:221) ==11366== by 0x810B9F1: Snake::Snake::update() (snake.cpp:257) ==11366== by 0x81113C1: SnakeApp::updateState() (snakeapp.cpp:224) ==11366== by 0x8120351: RoenGL::updateState() (roengl.cpp:1180) ==11366== by 0x81E87D9: Roensachs::update() (rs.cpp:321) As can be seen, it gets quite cryptic.. especially because when it's saying by Class::MethodX, it sometimes points straight to ostream etc. Perhaps this is due to optimization? ==11366== by 0x81109ED: Snake::SnakeBody::syncBodyPos() (ostream:221) Just like that. Is there something I'm missing? What is the best way to catch bad values without having to resort to super-long printf detective work?

  • Application that depends heavily on stored procedures

    - by PieterG
We currently have an application that depends largely on stored procedures. There is a heavy use of temp tables. It's an extremely large application. Facing this situation, I would like to use Entity Framework or Linq2Sql for a rewrite. I might consider using Fluent Hibernate or Subsonic, as i've used them quite extensively in the past. I've had problems with Linq2Sql generating the return types for the stored procedures because of the usage of the temp tables, and I think it's cumbersome to go and change all the stored procedures from temp tables to in-memory tables. Considering the 2 choices that I want to make, which one of the 2 is the best route to go and why? If my choices are extremely idiotic, please provide alternatives. Edit: The reason for the question and the change is that the data access layer is non-existent and was built 10 years ago. We currently still run into a lot of issues with it. I don't want to divulge too much, but if you saw it, your eyes would start bleeding :)

I'm not really sure what I haven't initialized. The string I'm passing in "should" be already set... I'm printing it out just fine. • How do I install a 32-bit Java runtime on an amd64 server with multiarch?

    - by kbyrd
I'm a long time Ubuntu user, but I haven't been following the community for the last several versions. I just did fresh default minimal amd64 install of Oneiric and I need a 32-bit JRE for a particular application. I last did this on 10.10, so I am not familiar with the multiarch stuff. Instead of installing ia32-libs, I read a bit and tried: aptitude install default-jre-headless:i386 But that just got me: The following NEW packages will be installed: default-jre-headless{b} openjdk-6-jre-headless{ab} The following packages are RECOMMENDED but will NOT be installed: icedtea-6-jre-cacao icedtea-6-jre-jamvm 0 packages upgraded, 2 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded. Need to get 27.3 MB of archives. After unpacking 82.1 MB will be used. The following packages have unmet dependencies: default-jre-headless: Depends: java-common which is a virtual package. openjdk-6-jre-headless: Depends: openjdk-6-jre-lib (>= 6b23~pre10-0ubuntu5) which is a virtual package. Depends: ca-certificates-java which is a virtual package. Depends: tzdata-java which is a virtual package. Depends: java-common (>= 0.28) which is a virtual package. Depends: libcups2 but it is not going to be installed. Depends: liblcms1 but it is not going to be installed. Depends: libjpeg62 but it is not going to be installed. Depends: libnss3-1d (>= 3.12.9+ckbi-1.82-0ubuntu4) but it is not going to be installed. Depends: libc6 (>= 2.11) but it is not going to be installed. Depends: libfreetype6 (>= 2.2.1) but it is not going to be installed. Depends: libgcc1 (>= 1:4.1.1) but it is not going to be installed. Depends: libstdc++6 (>= 4.1.1) but it is not going to be installed. Depends: zlib1g (>= 1:1.1.4) but it is not going to be installed. The following actions will resolve these dependencies: Keep the following packages at their current version: 1) default-jre-headless [Not Installed] 2) openjdk-6-jre-headless [Not Installed] Accept this solution? [Y/n/q/?] q Is aptitude not installing the 32-bit versions of the dependencies? What is the right way to do this? I'll likely want both a 64-bit and a 32-bit JRE if that matters.

  • Database entries existence depends on time / boolean value of a field changed automatically

    - by lisak
Hey, I have this situation here. An auction system listing orders that are "active" (their deadline didn't occur yet) There is a lot of orders so it is better to have a field "active" instead of listing them based on time queries I'm not a database expert, just a user. What is the best way to implement this scenario ? Do I have to manually check the "deadLine" field and change "active" status every once in a while ? Is Mysql able to change the field automatically ? How demanding are queries of type "select orders where "deadline" has passed " Do I need to use TIMESTAMP (long data type of number of milisecond since UTC epoch time or DATETIME for the queries to the database to be more efficient ? Finally I have to move old order entries to a different backup table .

  • Keyboard hook return different symbols from card reader depends whther my app in focus or not

    - by user363868
I code WinForm application where one of the input is magnetic stripe card reader (CR). I am using code George Mamaladze's article Processing Global Mouse and Keyboard Hooks in C# on codeproject.com to listen keyboard (USB card reader acts same way as keyboard) and I have weird situation. One card reader CR1 (Unitech MS240-2UG) produces keystroke which I intercept on KeyPress event analyze that I intercept certain patter like %ABCD-6EFJHI? and trigger some logic. Analysis required because user can type something else into application or in another application meanwhile my app is open When I use another card reader CR2 (IdTech IDBM-334133) keystroke intercepted by hook started from number 5 instead of % (It is actually same key on keyboard). Since it is starting sentinel it is very important for me to have ability recognize input from card reader. Moreover if my app running in background and I have focus on Notepad when I swipe card string %ABCD-6EFJHI? appears in Notepad and same way, with proper starting character) intercepted by keyboard hook. If swiped when focus on Form it is 5ABCD-6EFJHI? User who tried app with another card reader has same result as me with CR2. Only CR1 works for me as expected I was looking into Device manager of Windows and both devices use same HID driver supplied by MS. I checked devices though respective software from CR makers and starting and ending sentinels set to % and ? respective on both. I would appreciate and ideas and thoughts as I hit the wall myself Thank you

  • Zedgraph textobj X location depends on text length?

    - by Tony_Henrich
I have a Zedgraph textobj which I want to place always in the same x, y position (ASP.NET image). I noticed that the text doesn't always show in the same starting x position. It shifts depending on the text's length. I tried to have the text to have the same length by padding it with spaces. It helped a little but the result is not always consistent. I am using PaneFraction for coordType. What's the proper method to have a piece of text to always show in the same x position. I am using textobj as a title because the native title property always shows up centered and I need my title be left aligned to the graph.

  • How to load a library that depends on another library, all from a jar file

    - by Philip
I would like to ship my application as a self-contained jar file. The jar file should contain all the class files, as well as two shared libraries. One of these shared libraries is written for the JNI and is essentially an indirection to the other one (which is 100% C). I have first tried running my jar file without the libraries, but having them accessible through the LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable. That worked fine. I then put the JNI library into the jar file. I have read about loading libraries from jar files by copying them first to some temporary directory, and that worked well for me (note that the 100% C library was, I suppose, loaded as before). Now I want to put both libraries into the jar, but I don't understand how I can make sure that they will both be loaded. Sure I can copy them both to a temporary directory, but when I load the "indirection" one, it always gives me: java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: /tmp/.../libindirect.so: /libpure.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory I've tried to force the JVM to load the "100% C" library first by explicitely calling System.load(...) on its temporary file, but that didn't work better. I suspect the system is looking for it when resolving the links in libindirect.so but doesn't care about what the JVM loaded. Can anyone help me on that one? Thanks

  • search paths where one native library depends on another

    - by carneades
I'm using JNA and Java but I think this question affects any native-to-nonnative bridge. I have a Java application which relies on lib1.dylib, and lib1.dylib relies on lib2.dylib. I want to put everything inside of my .app file on Mac. I can easily put lib1.dylib inside and set java.classpath (or NativeLibrary.addSearchPath()) to tell the JVM where to find lib1.dylib. The trouble is, I don't know how to communicate that lib1.dylib's dependencies are also in the location I provided. The result is that lib1 is loaded fine, but then lib2 can't be found since it's not in the operating system's library path. Anyone know how I can overcome this problem? I imagine it must come up plenty in big projects with large numbers of shared libraries.

  • How to programmatically register a component that depends on a list of already registered components

    - by Chris Carter
I'm programmatically registering a group of services that all implement the same interface, IRule. I have another service that looks like this: public class MyService { private IEnumerable<IRule> _rules; public MyService(IEnumerable<IRule> rules){ _rules = rules; } } Hammett posted something that looked like what I wanted, http://hammett.castleproject.org/?p=257. I changed the signature to IRule[] and tried the ArrayResolver trick in the post but that didn't work for me(note, it didn't break anything either). Anyone know how to programmatically register a component like the code I posted above?
