    I have an Ajaxable application which has some UpdateProgress for each postBack events. everything is good and working great. I want to display another Indicator in my SiteMapPath bar which shows a post back is happening no matter what. For example when user clicks on a button an UpdateProgress display an Indicator Image in central part of application. I want to display another image ( for every postbacks not only for one) in top of application toolbar. Currently I use a simple Flag out ther and I want to use an indicator instead of that flag when ever a postback happens Thank you in advance

    A while ago I read a news here, that Microsoft changed its strategy for silverlight and will replace it with HTML5. As it is a controversial discussion, some guys from Microsoft and other corporation wrote about it and some agreed and some don't? As it is important to be aware of near future of tools that you are using, what do you think, Will Microsoft replace Silverlight with HTML5 or not? I myself believe that it will happen in 2012, the time that HTML5 released completely, and Microsoft are releasing VS2012.

    I Do not know any JQuery and have to create a Tab with JQuery or JavaScript which works well with Multiview. And note that I have this kinds of tabs in more than 40 pages so I'm looking for a solution which works for all of them. This is my current Scenario I have a Multiview and some Buttons above Multiview. Each Multiview contains a module (.ascx control) whenever User clicks on a button MultiView ActiveIndex Change to specific index. Each Module (tab content) has some Ajax functionality and I want to change tab items with JQuery in order to prevent post backing page. Please give complete code, cause I don't know any Jquery.     hi, when i try to convert form utf-8 string to NSString like so: NSString *s = [NSString stringWithUTF8String:"\U0627\U0644\U0641\U0631\U0646"]; NSLog(@"%@", s); i get the compile error: incomplete universal character name note that it sometime just works fine: NSString *UAE = [NSString stringWithUTF8String:"\U0627\U0644\U0641\U0631\U0646"]; NSLog(@"%@", UAE); and the output: ???????? so why is that happening? please help.

    I'm new to mysql, I'm trying to run Wordpress inmy windows desktop and it need Mysql. I install everything with Web Platform Installer which provided by microsoft. I never seta root password for mysql and in final step of installing wordpressit askfor root password of mysql. What is the default password for root (if there is one) and how to change it? I try mysql -u root password '123' but it show me Access denied for user 'root@localhost' (using password:NO) after this I try mysql -u root -p but it ask for a password which I don't have Thank you in advance

  • Is Embed Resource a good approach for a read only xml database?

    I have an open source application (here) This application get a character or a sentence and give some unicode information about it. Iuse Unicode Character Database which provided by Unicode.org this is a XML document (130MB) At first I embed this XML to my DLL but I don't know is it a good approach or no. because DLL size growth just because of this XML document. I can use it like any other resources but usercan see it. What Should I do? What is the best pattern for this? and Why ? TIA

  • using action helpers in Zend Framework 1.8

    Hi am starting off with Zend Framework and have a question about action helpers. My first application is a simple authentication system (following a tutorial from a book). The registration and authentication seems to work fine but the redirect doesn't. I have a customer controller that has this among others: class CustomerController extends Zend_Controller_Action { // some code here...... public function authenticateAction() { $request = $this->getRequest(); if (!$request->isPost()) { return $this->_helper->redirector('login'); } // Validate $form = $this->_forms['login']; if (!$form->isValid($request->getPost())) { return $this->render('login'); } if (false === $this->_authService->authenticate($form->getValues())) { $form->setDescription('Login failed, please try again.'); return $this->render('login'); } return $this->_helper->redirector('index'); } the authenticate url is http://localhost/customer/authenticate and this seems to work fine but it does not redirect. After authentication I get a blank page which looks like its taking me to the index and just sits there. I tried using '/index' instead but that did not help either. Do I need to do anything special to make the redirector helper work? I have a logout action which behaves the same.

The second one is actually a Ajax Indicator modal which display a loading text when the page is asynchronously post back. here is the example <table id="MainTable"> <tr> <td> Content .... </td> </tr> </table> <div id="Progress"> Ajax Indocator </div> the following javascript didn't work document.getElementById("Progress").style.width = document.getElementById("MainTable").style.width; document.getElementById("Progress").style.height = document.getElementById("MainTable").style.height; It should work both on IE and FireFox. how to correct it. I checked some other solution in StackOverFlow but I couldn't fix it. I'mwaiting to hear from you.

  • Can't delete read-only iTunes music?

    if you add an mp3 file with read only attributes to iTunes, iTunes will not allow you to change the file's ID3 tags or delete the mp3 file itself later. Removing the read-only attribute after you add it doesn't help either! And if you go to the source file and delete it manually, the file shows up as "missing file" with a ! sign prefixed to it in the program, which you Still can't delete. Any ways to get around this? I just want to change the ID3 tags.

  • SCSI drives not showing up in Linux CentOS 4

    So I have a poweredge 6650 with Perc 3 installed. on the first channel of raid controller I have 2x 73gb configured in raid 1. On the second channel I have two 300GB drives that are stand alone. The two 300gb drives do not show up in linux, (no /dev/sdb*)... Can perc 3 support non-raid and raid drives combined? Is there any settings I may be missing? Thanks in advance :)
