Hello, This is what i have done so far, Made a Custom view added few objects, as shown below @interface CommUICustomSignInView : CommUICustomView { IBOutlet NSButton *pBtn; IBOutlet NSTextField *pTextField; NSTrackingArea *pTrackingArea; NSCursor *pPonitHandCursor; } Added all IBoutlet correctly, Now thru Interface builder constructed a Window controller interface builder in which added a custom view and provided this class name in the interface builder, I hope i could able to visualize you guys, now whenever i loaded this view, the item whatever i created by IB are not being displayed, Am i doing something wrong, or something missing,

A pointer member variable having different values

Ok, to begin with, this is my code: HyperSprite::HyperSprite() { _view = 0; } void HyperSprite::publish(QGraphicsView* view) { _view = view; } void HyperSprite::getKFrame() { if(_view != 0) { qDebug()<<(void*)_view; } } Now, if I call HyperSprite::getKFrame() from within main(), I get the output: 0xbf8ffb84 I have a TCP server, which requires this QGraphicsView* variable. So whenever a new connection is made, HyperSprite::getKFrame() is called. However, whenever I make a connection to my server, this is the output: 0x1e425ff I honestly don't understand this. Shouldn't the value of a member remain same throughout? Why is the pointer value changing? As is obvious, whenever I try to use the _view pointer to access any of its members, a Segmentation Fault occurs. I tried using QSharedPointer, but it also results in the same problem. The data of the QSharedPointer automatically changes. Why is this happening?

Navein Juneja Sr. Director LPU gave the keynote and introduced the speakers of AIOUG and Delhi & NCR Java User Group (DaNJUG). Mr. Juneja explained about the LPU and its students. He explained how Oracle and Java is most used and accepted technologies in world. Rohit Dhand Additional Dean LPU came on stage and share about how his career started with Oracle databases. He encouraged students to learn these technologies and build their career. Satyendra Kumar vice-president AIOUG thanked LPU and their stuff for organizing such a good technical event and students for their overwhelming response. He talked about the India Oracle group and its events at various geographical locations all over India. Jitendra Chittoda Co-Leader DaNJUG explained how to make a new Java User Groups (JUG), what are its benefits and how to promote it. Oracle SPARC SuperCluster and US DoD Security guidelines

I've worked in the past to help our government customers understand how best to secure Solaris. For my customer base that means complying with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) from the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). I recently worked with a team to apply both the Solaris and Oracle 11gR2 database STIGs to a SPARC SuperCluster. The results have been published in an Oracle White paper. The SPARC SuperCluster is a highly available, high performance platform that incorporates: SPARC T4-4 servers Exadata Storage Servers and software ZFS Storage appliance InfiniBand interconnect Flash Cache Oracle Solaris 11 Oracle VM for SPARC Oracle Database 11gR2 It is targeted towards large, mission critical database, middleware and general purpose workloads. Using the Oracle Solution Center we configured a SSC applied DoD security guidance and confirmed functionality and performance of the system. The white paper reviews our findings and includes a number of security recommendations. In addition, customers can contact me for the itemized spreadsheets with our detailed STIG reports. Some notes: There is no DISA STIG documentation for Solaris 11. Oracle is working to help DISA create one using their new process. As a result, our report follows the Solaris 10 STIG document and applies it to Solaris 11 where applicable. In my conversations over the years with DISA Field Security Office they have repeatedly told me, "The absence of a DISA written STIG should not prevent a product from being used. Customer may apply vendor or industry security recommendations to receive accreditation." Greetings, Would like to know if we need to explicitly free the string allocated by a xmldomnodeptr using it's get_text() i.e. IXMLDOMNodePtr pNode; /*some code*/ BSTR sValue; pNode->get_text(&sValue); /*Should I do this?*/ SysFreeString(sValue); I cannot see any documentation stating the same, so I'm assuming we need to do explicit deallocation sysfreestring. can we get the penultimate exception that occurred from an mdmp or hdmp in windbg

Hi, I got a crash dump (both mdmp and hdmp) for my application (written in C++) captured using dr. watson. After analyzing the dumps through windbg, I concluded that the crash had occurred in the catch() itself :) What I need to know is what exception caused the the failure in the first place i.e. I need that penultimate(last but one th) exception that had occurred. I know I could get the same by some other ways, but is there a specific command with which we could get the list of errors\exceptions occurring from the dump file. Thanks. --Samrat Patil

This is my first question on this wonderful website. Lets say I have a string $a="some text..%PROD% more text" There will be just one %..% in the string. I need to replace PROD between the % with another variable content. So I used to do: $a = str_replace('%PROD%',$var,$a); but now the PROD between % started coming in different cases. So I could expect prod or Prod. So I made the entire string uppercase before doing replacement. But the side effect is that other letters in the original string also became uppercase. Someone suggested me to use regular expression. But how ? Thanks, Rohan

I am trying to do dynamic portforwarding using openssh through a remote computer following this command: ssh -D 6789 rohan@<remote_ip> -p <remote_port> This should set up a socks server on my comp as I assume. I am able to use this for normal browsing but can't connect to IRC or remote ssh (through proxychains).
