suPHP not working

OS: Ubuntu 10.04

But when I did nano /home/user/web/id.php and paste

?>
in it, result I get is:
uid=33(www-data) gid=33(www-data) groups=33(www-data)
Have no idea what to do so I was hoping comunity could help
