    I need to remove all the html tags from a given webpage data.   • Cant make a Usb booteable ubuntu 13.10

    Hey that my second question.. Sorry for my english! I tried to make a usb booteable with ubuntu 13.10. Thats the problem everytime that i tried to boot it came an error... syslinux no default or ui configuration directive found. Before post an answer i already tried renamed isolinux etc (folder and cfg n bin) with syslinux and tried too using yumi, universal boot and live linux... Thanks for ur help!

    Hi. I'm working with a database which is created in Oracle and used in a GIS-software through SDE. One of my colleuges is going to make some statistics out of this database and I'm not capable of finding a reasonable SQL-query for getting the data. I have two tables, one with registrations and one with registrationdetails.     Recently, I had a user control I was developing throw an exception. I know what caused the exception, but this issue got me thinking. If I have a user control throw an exception for whatever reason and I wish to replace that usercontrol with something else (e.g. an error saying, "Sorry, this part of the page broke.") and perhaps log the error, what would be a good way to do it that could be done independently of what the user control is or does (i.e. I'm not saying what the user control does/is, because I want an answer where that is irrelevant).     We got a supermicro server, http://www.supermicro.com/products/system/1u/5016/sys-5016i-ur.cfm, according spec, the server supports up to 32G memory when using ECC Register Memory.     Please help I installed Ubuntu11.10 32bit in an IBMTP41 notebook, that is NOT connected to the internet, tried running video files such as .mp4,.flv,.avi,.Xvid, in Movie Player but it asks for plugins, see the list below mp4: MPEG-4 AAC decoder; H.264 decoder flv: SorensonSpark Video decoder; MPEG-1 Layer3(MP3) decoder avi: MPEG-1 Layer3 (MP3) decoder; MPEG video decoder XviD: AC-3 (ATSC A/52) decoder; XviD MPEG-4 decoder how do i donwload (from another computer with internet) and install all these plugins and their dependencies. I also want to install the VLC Media player and its dependencies I assume this is related to the restricted codecs and I have tried donwnload/install them with no success. I'll appreciate all ur help

    I had installed ubuntu 12.04 using wubi. But each time i boot the system an internal error message pops up. As show below:- Executable path /usr/share/apport/apport-gpu-error-intel.py Package xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.17.0-1ubuntu4 Problem Type crash Apportversion 2.0.1-0ubuntu7 and so on.. I had earlier upgraded to ubuntu 12.04 from ubuntu 11.10. And encountered the same issue. Hence i uninstalled the OS and reinstalled using wubi. I had posted the same query in ubuntu.com/support (Question Number: 195525) But couldnt find a solution. I am using dell inspiron with intel pentium. For a start: Haxe // uses Boehm GC Haskell (JHC) Haskell (old GHC) // -fvia-c, removed recently (emitted code is super ugly) Clay ATS Cython RPython (Shed Skin) // experimental RPython (PyPy) Python (Nuitka) // although author claims there are no speedups Common Lisp (ECL) COBOL (OpenCobol) Scheme (Chicken) APL // So far I've not found working implementation available for free download Ur/Web // GCC-specific output, and intended to be used only for web developments (included for completeness only) I'd like to build comprehensive up-to-date list but found only these ones so far. I've tested only Haxe and it works pretty well and quite fast. What about other ones? What is your expirience? How much ugly is generated code? Update. Any language chains (e.g. X - Scheme - C) will be perfectly OK as answer if its use is practical enough and suited for production use.

    Possible Duplicate: Does it make a difference if your url ends in a trailing slash or not? Why treat these as different URLs? I am doing a 301 redirect in my WP application using .htaccess and have mapped some of the URLs which have either been removed from the new domain or the URL structure has been changed. While doing I got a doubt I have following URL structure in my .htaccess file RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^old.com$ [OR] RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www.old.com$ RewriteRule ^tag/waiting$ http://www.new.com/tag/relationships [R=301,L] while checking this i found that at some places URL is like http://www.new.com/tag/relationships while at others its like http://www.new.com/tag/relationships/, while both refer to the same location but not sure if this will make any difference to SEO and search engines. Please suggest if the way i am doing mapping is correct or do i need to modify it to handle both UR

    This question is about dealing with unmanaged resources (COM interop) and making sure there won't be any resource leaks. I'd appreciate feedback on whether I seem to do things the right way. Background: Let's say I've got two classes: A class LimitedComResource which is a wrapper around a COM object (received via some API). There can only be a limited number of those COM objects, therefore my class implements the IDisposable interface which will be responsible for releasing a COM object when it's no longer needed. Objects of another type ManagedObject are temporarily created to perform some work on a LimitedComResource. They are not IDisposable. To summarize the above in a diagram, my classes might look like this: +---------------+ +--------------------+ | ManagedObject | <>------> | LimitedComResource | +---------------+ +--------------------+ | o IDisposable (I'll provide example code for these two classes in just a moment.) Question: Since my temporary ManagedObject objects are not disposable, I obviously have no control over how long they'll be around.
