    I received an Adobe pdf scan of a document that displays upside-down. I rotated it inside Adobe Acrobat and choose Save-As to make a new document, however, the rotation is not saved and when I open the new document, it is upside-down again. How can I correct this upside-down document as a new pdf file?

Also it would be nice to just open a .torrent file and make it upload the file to the server and start downloading. I tried to do some google searches but all it displays is how to setup webui... I can get a list of content on the NAS device, but when I press play, it does not play, but displays the text path of the media file itself. In short it does not play streamed content, whereas the same content I am able to play using Windows based Internet Explorer. I meed a media player to work with embedded linux....

  • Win7 - DVD drive spins up but fails to read, fails write

    Running Windows 7 x64. DVD drive is a BenQ DC DQ60 ATA dvd-dl rw. Everything functions correctly in linux, and I can boot to cd/dvds, so the drive itself does work. Symptom: when I insert any CD or DVD (burned or retail), the drive spins up the disk, and (usually) displays the disk title in My Computer, but just continues to spin indefinitely. I cannot browse the disk in the drive, install from it, or read anything.

    I have a ubuntu server with apache setup, the main domain on the server is a subdomain app.example.com, which is working fine. Now if I setup john.app.example.com, then that also is displaying the web page of app.example.com, the DocumentRoot for john.app.example.com is different, still it shows the web page of app.example.com. how can I resolve this, so john.app.example.com displays the pages that are there in its DocumentRoot.

    When I try clicking on a zip file link on a web page, IE 7 tries to open it as an XML document and displays: The XML page cannot be displayed Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again. I get around this by right-clicking and using Save Target As... Double clicking on a .zip in the file system opens my zip program without problems. How do I fix this problem?

I (the admin) add/delete the calendars by configuring my Mac OS X iCal application, but I want to also host a web app that displays a human-readable calendar, so without any configuration my coworkers can visit a web page and see the calendar.     Hello, I'm looking for a software similiar to Windows Desktop Search or Google Desktop, that can also display results from our Intranet search engine in the same manner it displays regular results (files/emails/etc.). So far I managed to add Intranet search capabilities to Windows Desktop Search, but it doesn't show the results in the programs UI, but requires the user to press a "Search Intranet" button that opens the browser.     How do you replace the Passenger Application failed to load error messages. They are lovely, but I'd rather not display them when we move our application to production. It'd be better to just show them on the dev box and maintenance page on the live site. For clarification, this is the call stack page passenger displays when your rails app fails to load. I'd rather not modify the passenger template files directly. Passenger doesn't seem to be respecting: ErrorDocument 500 /500.html

    I have one monitor and a projector connecting to my computer, while the screen keep flashing after every 10 seconds, it seems the resolution keeps changing. The project is the a dual display for the monitor. They displays the same content. My current resolution is 1024*768, while after 10 seconds around, the resolution goes to something big, then after a few seconds, it goes back to 1024*768. I wonder if this is a problem about the resolution, or it's about the compatible of screen display?

I have done the port forwarding like I am supposed to, but I still cant get to it from an outside computer. It just displays Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage.     This is giving me a 500 internal server error. Any suggestions? I have tried various examples but I think I'm missing something... RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{request_uri}!^ /index\.htm RewriteRule ^(.*) /index\.htm [R=permanent,L] It displays the homepage if I navigate there but anything that meets the conditions (all appart from index.htm gives the server 500) EDIT: with the above code it now doesnt give any 500 errors but it doesnt redirect for any pages

    Does anyone know a good matching monitor setup for multiple displays? Looking for 1920 x 1200 with IPS panel as the main screen and some 1600 x 1200 monitor for the side but no single manufacturer seems to make monitors that match like this. Do you all just deal with the resolution and size differences in multi setups or has anyone found decent IPS panel setups that match (size / vertical resolution)? Three 1920x1200 seems like overkill, that's why I was looking for 4:3 monitors for the sides.

    system info: i have installed XAMPP on my machine having Window XP OS . also installed Apache2.2, now, i have created two folders in C:\xampp\htdocs they are php and perl . these folder contains programs in their respective languages (ie index.php and index.pl respectively) when i type in browser : http: //localhost:88/php/ the program in index.php gets executed and o/p is displayed in browser but , when i type: http://localhost:88/perl/ browser displays a blank page PROBLEM : how to run .pl file in above scenario ?
